I apologize for the unwanted phones calls that have been occurring to our former customer below but we canceled their membership to our online service on May when we were contacted by the customer and instructed to cancel. We have placed the customer on our DNC list and
are unaware of any calls still being made by our company. Please note we refunded the customer on May the day of cancellation of the service

I understand you or *** are looking for a refund of $from a transaction taken place on August and were unable to reach Lesko. I apologize for the problem but I am not able to locate this charge without the last digits of the credit card that was used. Apparently this order was placed under a different name and different email address and can not be located under either the name of *** or *** ***
I have just tried reaching you by telephone but was unable to do so but I will try again later today
Again, in order to find this charge, please supply the last numbers of the card that was used so that we can refund the charge

However, the customer was able to concel her membership when she reached customer service on April

I am sorry for the problem. Since the payment was a time charge, the online service is set up manually. I am not sure why the customer service agents did not realize that the account was to be set up manually as they should have made sure that the login to our database was operational as soon as they heard from customer. We did refund the customer in late July and sent them a copy of the refund. This is our fault and will retrain our agents so this problem does not happen to future customers

I responded to the complaint on January 2, see below:

Sorry for the slow response but we were contacted by the customer in November and refunded 3 payments of $59.90.  This has been a challenging complaint because the cardholder did not reach out to us until 6...

months after the initial charge.  Also nothing in writing was provided to us but only the last 4 digits on the credit card.  After searching we realized that apparently a stolen or lost credit card was used to sign up to our service under a different name other than what was provided to us.
Since we were never contacted until many months AFTER charging the cardholder monthly our refunds can only be processed online up to 90 days.  So, we immediately canceled and refunded 3 months of charges when the cardholder finally contacted us in November.
However, since the cardholder wants a full refund, we have issued them a check in the amount of $119.80 which was mailed to them on December 26.
Total monthly charges were: $299.50
Refunds done on November 17 were:  3 @ $59.90 for total of $179.70
Check refund amount of $119.80 mailed to customer on December 26

I am sorry but I thought I had responded to this complaint several weeks ago.  The customer did reach us at Lesko and the membership was canceled on April 2 and the charge of $3.79 was refunded.  We apologize that
the online service was not explained...

properly to the customer as it clearly was not done so.  An email would have been sent to the customer on March 31 to the address below giving her the link needed to use the onsite service so she could see the listing of the hundreds of federal and state programs.  Also, our customer service number is listed on the website as well as a customer service email address.  The website is www.lesko.com
