I used this web sit and then cancelled it right after I Got it and was told I would be refunded my money in 7 to 10 day now it has been 28 days and I have still not gotten a refund. The second time I called them they told me they have been trying to get a hold of me( which is a total lie because we all have called ID) because they needed my last 4 digits of my card number to give me a refund. They said I would be issued a refund in 5 days. So I am out $66.46 which I am sure I will never see.
I came across this company because I have a son that incarcerated and they had an offer for unlimited calls. So I sent them 49.86 on 12/3/19. They said it will take up to a couple of hours. I had my own phone number. Well it never happened that day. So I called them right away. I have sent them at least25 emails and they sent a email back and said someone will call me from the office. That never happened. Im still waiting. I was and still is. How dare they keep my refund. They are an fraudulent company.. Please if you can help me with this matter I would appreciate it thank you.
I had incurred charges not know I’d signed up for this. When contacted about the 29.99 dollars charged to my account they said they would refund 20.00 and it would be it. Told them I’d have my bank step in they threatened me with a 250.00 fee. I have contacted my bank and they are taking up the issue. This is not a way to conduct business. The refund was requested the same day I saw it showing pending on my account.
I have 2 complaints with this company. First, the advertising is completely misleading and frankly a flat out lie/scam. The company advertises that they offer various 3 month phone plans that have “unlimited” minutes for you to talk to an inmate. My uncle is in jail and he is more like my big brother that’s also my best friend. So when I saw this offer I was very excited. Yesterday I purchased the 3 month standard plan advertised at $29.97 which totaled to $52.82 even with standard activation. The website states “This works with your existing mobile and home phones. Unlimited minutes. We do not charge per minute.” None of which is true. My second issue... I received an email shortly after paying that gives me a new phone number for my uncle to call me from and 3 steps. One of the steps is to add additional funds to this new number with the jail facility he is at. Which is what I was doing prior to purchasing the 3 month plan. So I add $10 to *** Jail. I get a call from my uncle today and it takes $3 out of the $10 I added to *** Jail. It charged me the same amount as before I had the 3 month unlimited plan. So I call Inmatecall.com and ask what the purpose of offering this $52 plan if I am actually paying more. I could not get an answer from them, the customer service assistant’s reply was “well what do you want to do about it?” Since I couldn’t get any answers as to why I wasted $52.82 + $10.00 + $5.00 fee to *** jail, I asked to close my account and get a refund. He informed me I would only receive a partial refund of $29.97.

They sent me a generated receipt stating they issued the refund but no refund was ever deposited into my account. I told them about this several times and they told me to contact my bank and the bank had to issue the refund. That's not how business works. I feel like I was scammed for over $60.00

They have done nothing to refund me . I have never been able to use this service, I left at least 10 messages for a call back and nobody answers the phone. It ask to hold about 8 times then wants you to leave a message for nobody to call back. At least leave a message, email, or respond to one of the 4 tickets.

The recipient stayed on the line some 6 minutes waiting for customer service. When I asked how he is supposed to make calls they gave me some mumbo jumbo about the number being approved and that since the service worked they would not give me a refund. With IC Solutions you just sign up and there is no problem getting through or being disconnected. Buyer Beware.

Inmatecall.com charged my credit card 5 times for 33.50$ and one time for a 110 $ without my authorization. They claimed it was a malware glitch and they will refund my money in 3-7 days its been a month and I still haven't receive any refund.
Its not unlimited minutes and don't warn they use another service to use another to pay for minutes still. Doesn't save money and you can use your own number free with the 3rd party on your own and use it as much as use you want. My husband be able to call on my regular number 3 to 4 times a day for 2 dollars every 15 minutes without using Inmatescall.com. Even say on their site within the 7 days they give the refund and they say will give me my refund, but instead they lie. Ignore my calls and didn't follow through to give my 61.04 back. They even make sure to ignore my calls and avoid me and ignore my emails. I just want what was promise, but they rip me off instead.
Inmate call fraudulently charged me $66.95 for a service I did not order. They offered a refund to my original debit card however due to the errant charge I closed my current debit card to avoid further issues. They are refusing to refund my money to an active card or bank account stating they can only refund the card they fraudulently charged. Any person with sense would block the card so now they are taking advantage of the many victims they claim we're accidently charged due to malware in their system.

I asked for a refund the next day and never heard anything else inregards to giving my money back I paid $61.04 for them to tell me I was only going to be able to get $49 back because their was a third party that was involved. This company is scamming people out of their money promising low rate phone calls which you are told you are calling in time for a activation promotion which they have goin on for a month which is separate from the 3 months of service for the low rate jail phone calls . Last month they charged me twice and then only gave me a partial refund because the charge was "Hard Coded?" so they said they couldn't refund all of it. They couldn't even produce me an invoice last month for what the over charges were for but then wouldn't refund all of the amount charged. It was a very long grouling process to get what I did get back. My son has not successfully used the service yet, so I counted my losses and considered it experience. Even though the service I purchased for January was supposed to be for 3 months, they drafted my account today for three charges. Two for 38.86 and once for 61.04 and caused me an overdraft situation. I did not authorize the charges.
This company is impossible to work with. Any number that is listed on their website is never answered by a person. I get a voicemail that indicates I will receive a call back within an hour and never get a call back. They do respond to messages on their site, but the response is short and never addresses the actual issue.

I was refunded a portion of my money when I complained, but they maintained the idea that I could not be refunded $24 even though nowhere on their website does it mention a non-refundable portion. Today I was charged $66 without my permission for a service that I did not ask for and that does not exist. I am filing a fraud case with my credit card, but this company is a complete scam and provides no service.
I placed a 1 time order for Unlimited minutes in December. Once I placed the order it informed me that it doesn't actually include minutes and you have to buy prepaid minutes elsewhere. I emailed customer service to take advantage of their money back guarantee. THey emailed back saying I had to call their billing number. I have called and left messages. Nor return calls. No refund. Today my account shows 8 more invoices and I received a fraud allert from my credit card that they tried 6 times today to withdraw another $33.30 from my account the invoices are dated 01/08/19-08/18/19. They are trying to future bill me on an account that I'm trying to get a refund on. This company is a fraud!

I was advised I still needed to create an account with the third parry company used by the correctional facility and make a deposit into the account. After doing so, I was still not allowed to receive calls from the person using this account. I have been unsuccessful in getting any refund or getting the account to work as promised.
I have contacted inmatecall by phone,email and through their contact ticket forms. When I called they cancelled my subscription which is what I wanted also they said they was going to refund half of my $66 payment I had made to their company. So I was supposed to receive a refund of $36. Because I never used their service. It has been a month and I still haven't received anything. I have placed several more complaint tickets to their website. That have not been answered. I feel like this company is scamming people.
