Since Ms*** vehemently insists that she never signed up for an Instant Checkmate membership, the only likely possibilities are that a) she signed up for a trial or ran a single search in 2012, and therefore agreed to our terms of service, which clearly and conspicuously describe our recurring payment process, or b) she may have fallen victim to identity theft which, although unfortunate, would have no connection to our service or our business practices

Then Instant Checkmate tries to tempt you into purchasing additional information related to the individual's criminal/arrest recordsThey offer this as "Premium" data, but of course, it requires an additional outlay of your hard-earned money(I had already fallen for the basic membership sales pitch and had been greatly disappointed, so I did not buy into the premium data lie they were pitching.)
This site is a ruse!! I can not guarantee you from experience, but I presume that each time you pay more money to get more information, they will only promise you some additional information if you are willing to pay even more moneyInstant Checkmate may not be breaking any laws...but they are certainly unscrupulousTheir basic membership "product" is attainable via Google and they dangle the carrot of "premium data" to entice you into spending endless amounts of moneyPlease, please, PLEASE do NOT waste your time!!!
