I am rejecting this response because: The company claims they have been in business in the community for over 40 years. When the company stated they need to charge $4000-$8000 to install a clean out, I was unaware that the property already had two clean outs in the yard and one by the street. I’m 65 years old. I dug a hole. It took 30 minutes. Called a plumber that came out and in 20 minutes installed a clean out. 1 hour of combined labor (me digging and plumber install) cost me $400. This is compared to $4000-$8000 that the company wanted to charge me for 1 hour of work. After I had a clean out installed for $400 I called a plumber to snake the line to the street. That plumber advised me that I wasted $400 because the town most likely has a drawing of my vleanouts. I called the town DWP, and in 30 minutes they came out with a drawing from 1972 that precisely showed where three clean outs already exist. So basically a company that claims they worked in my town for 40 years didn’t know enough to call the town DWP to ask for a drawing, and instead gave me a quote of $4000-$8000 for a cleanout I fidn’t Need. I believe that a reasonable assessment is that it if they were new to the neighborhood one might attribute not calling DWP for a drawing, negligence. But for a company that claims to have worked in the town for over 50 years, it’s reasonable to deduce this was an attempt at fraud.... $8000 to install a cleanout where three already exist.Yes, they claim the check was not cashed for the attempted fraud, but I spent $400 to install a cleanout because this company didn’t tell me that all we had to do is ask the town’s DWP to tell us where the existing cleanouts are. To avoid spending $8000 a 65 year old man had to dig a hole in the middle of the front yard. This company had three men on site half my age and they wanted $8000 to dig the same hole.

I am rejecting this response because: I am waiting for my insurance company to respond with a dollar amount so I know how much reimbursement I will receive from damages before the situation is "resolved".

I am rejecting this response because:My husband filed a complaint under [redacted] for a situation dealing with AJ PERRI. I was going to add to the complaint but instead it to me to email this address to follow up on the situation. Upon purchasing a new home there was an issue with water pressure which the owner was going to get fixed. AJ perri came out and said it was fine and had no recommendations for any repairs. The day we moved in we had NO HOT WATER! We called AJ perri and the plumber said this was directly related to the no pressure issue it was a cartridge repair that should have been fixed when they first came out. So now, having no choice we had to have two cartridges replaced..costing $900.00. Come to find out from another plumber, this part has a lifetime guarantee and the company who makes the cartridge actually sent us out two new ones at no cost and stated any licensed plumber should have known that! (and anyhow, purchasing one outright is only $48.00) On top of it, it literally took him 5 minutes to install it, and then give us the $900.00 bill, because of their incompetent  employee who first came out and said it was fine! So my husband and I tried contacting the company for some reimbursement which was an everlasting battle....and finally they offered a whopping $150.00 back for the cartridge (probably realizing they way overcharged for a 50.00 item), at which my husband questioned well that would be times 2, since we had two replaced, she said she would get back to us, at which there is still no credit back on our card weeks after, and we were never contacted back.

They were able to credit me back what I believed was acceptable payment. I would like to urge the Revdex.com to follow up on their pressure sales tactics and taking advantage of consumers. But otherwise I accept the resolution they presented to me.
