I promised myself that I'd write this review just so that others will learn from my experience and stay far away from ITNI booked a ticket with my family to Nigeria for a family vacationThe date we all booked for at first was canceledWe all wanted to travel on the 11th of MayThey moved it to the 12th of MayThis was okayI was however doubled charged for the same ticketI got in touch with the customer care and one of the managers took care of this double charge for me after much back and forth( I had to screen shot both charges on my phone app because they said I wasn'tI had receipts to prove this) This takes a horrible turn when I noticed that everyone got a "it's time to check in" from Delta airlines and I didn't a day before travelI looked at my delta app and my itinerary was missingI called Delta to find out what was happeningThey told me to get in touch with Air France which I didAir France told me that I had a ticket but it has been cancelled so that I need to get in touch with my travel agentI called ITN to find out what was going onThey told me that I have a ticket all ready and confirmedI told them that the airlines are saying something elseThis was happening the night of the 11th of May I finally get in touch with someone in the morning who said she'd figured out what the problem was and that I have been reissued a ticketShe assured me that everything is good to goOur flight was leaving at 1.40pm on the 12th of MayWe all get to the airport around 11amMy family was able to check in but they told me that I still didn't have a ticket and hence they cannot check me inThey told me at Delta counter to get in touch yet again with the travel agent I bought my ticket fromI called ITN and was put on hold for over minsRemember, I'm basically standing at the counter looking rather [redacted] at a busy airport counterEveryone in my family gets on their phones to perhaps quicken the process but we were all put on hold because "someone was working on it" I ended up missing the 1.40pm flightI have never in my life received the sort of service I did on this day from ITNNO ONE showed any empathy or concern that my family had to leave on a supposed family trip without meNo " we are so sorry this is happening" or "we are going to make sure you get on a flight today" or even any words of encouragement because I am distraught at this point at the lack of service The lady [redacted] that was helping me told me that they were going to find me a flight for the next day instead after saying that they are looking into getting me on a later flight on the 12thShe then told me that either I take a flight the next day or they can just refund me my moneyWOW! I was like seriously? You've got to be kidding me! I told her that I wasn't going to leave the airport( at this point, I didn't have a ride or anyone to come get me as my family had just left) until I got a confirmation number so that I can verify that it actually works at the counter before leavingShe told me that they'd find me a ticket for the next dayIt'll take about hour or so When I got home, I called to find out where they were in the process after well over hourAsked for [redacted] and they told me that she'd gone homeWOW! yet againShe left for work without even bothering to call me to say oh there where we are or what we've done thus faretc It was around 9pm central time that someone who I was speaking to back and forth finally after she promised to call me immediately she gets a confirmation number( She did notI had called after waiting for a long while) gives me a confirmation numberI called Delta and Air France respectivelyThey simply told me that the number isn't working and they didn't have a ticket with my name on it anywhereImagine if this was youYou'd already lost out on a day of travelAt this point, I told myself that this simply ridiculous and how I simply cannot count on ITN to provide me a ticketIt was just horrible I went on Delta and purchased a ticket for travel on the 13th of May this way I have a peace of mind and assurance of a seat on the planeThis ticket cost me $700+ more I get back from my vacation and ITN sends me an email asking why the ticket wasn't usedYou gotta be kidding me right? Who in their right mind ignores a cheaper ticket to purchase a more expensive one the day before travel? I go ahead and explain what happened to Letty who got in touch with meShe gives me the spiel of " we are sorry it happened but" now you have to pay a fine for not using your ticketHow logical is this? I asked her if any of it makes sense? Told her to take it up with my CC company as I have filed a dispute with them How is it my fault that ITN messed up and I couldn't be foundIf you say I have a ticket and the airlines after searching for me on their system couldn't find meWho's fault is this? Mine? Why should I be penalized for something I had no hand in? Causing me a great deal of distress and more money This is the first and the LAST time I'll ever used a travel agent in my life! Never again! I always buy my tickets directly from the airlines and I see why it is best way to go because when things go wrong They can actually help you instead of getting a third party involved because both Delta and Air France practically dismissed me and told me to go talk to the travel agent as they cannot help me Everyone I know I shall keep telling to never do business with ITNRunning a business isn't about selling tickets alone but also providing a service if and when things go wrongIt was appalling to me that a problem I caught early on a day before travel couldn't even be resolved at allWhat does that say about you lot? All I want is for my money to be refunded so that I can go away The gall to even ask me to pay a fine made ZERO sense to me considering all that they put me through

BE AWARE OF CANCELLATION FEE ! I bought an air ticket last monthIt cost me $I felt really sick after a medical procedure and I couldn't make the tripI called them and had the ticket cancelled THEY CHARGED ME $260+$+ $COMMISSION ( non-refundable fee )THE TOTAL FEE IS $ On the email they sent to me regarding the cancellationITN didn't disclose properly that $will be charged on top of i'd already paid $ Here it is " "Authorized Refund Penalty to be charged (USD$): $ BREAKDOWN PENALTY: $ [redacted] / Jet Blue refund penalty (deducted form ticket price) $ITN Processing fee (charged on the day the refund is processed) $Recalled penalty from the carrier to ITN (charged on the day the refund is processed) Authorized Total Refund Penalty (USD$): $ The Carrier Refund Penalty of $will be deducted directly from the ticket price: $- $= $ The amount of $is to be credited back to the original form of payment American Express [redacted] Please allow from up to weeks for the refund amount to show up into your account" Two week later, I saw another charge of $in my credit card I doesn't make any sense, why ITN didn't deduct from $1,Does ITN play trick so I can felt into the contract with the assuming $would be refunded and $would be deducted from $1, I know ITN need to make money in doing businessBut being too voracious and taking advantage of person in illness seems to be improperly ethical I called [redacted] and I was told that $would be fee for cancellationThey will void the fee if I had the note from doctorJet Blue would do the same when I askedI did explained to ITN about my situation times It takes me more than two week to make $ITN just took it without any consideration I called [redacted] at ITN twice, the only thing I got back is the copy of email he sent to me before I hope Top management of ITN will take a look at its practices seriously Sincerely,

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/01/01) */ We have listened to the call recording between the our agent and the customer Before the purchase was finalized and the ticket was issued, our travel agent walked the customer through all details of the itinerary and drew her attention to the fare restrictionsThe agent advised Ms [redacted] that nothing is for free in regarding to refunds or exchangesExchanges and refunds are only possible with a penaltyOur agent also warned that ITN is not responsible for denied boarding due to passport and Visa issues, and that it's the customer's responsibility to make sure they have all the required documents at check-in On the credit card authorization form, the customer acknowledged and agreed that "If fare rules allow refunds and/or exchanges, a $ ITN fee will be charged to process any refund and/or exchange requestThis fee will be collected in addition to the penalties charged directly by the airline and/or recalled by the airline from ITN"In addition to this, the customer acknowledged and agreed that it's the customer's responsibility to have all the required travel documents; and that ITN is not responsible for denied boardings due to Visa and Passport [redacted] terms and conditions of the purchase have been clearly stated both verbally and in written form, and the customer consented to them before completing the transaction Thus, when Ms [redacted] contacted our Customer Service to reschedule her travel date due to a visa issue, she was advised of $airlines exchange penalty and $ITN processing feeThe customer had over two months before departure to find out information about visas We understand unexpected things happen all the timeAnd as a good gesture, we offered to waive 50% of our processing feeMs [redacted] did not accept this offer and flew on December 22, We have checked the booking record, and it seems the customer rescheduled her travel date directly with the airlines We understand that our customer may consider that ITN processing fee is unnecessary while they are fine to pay airlines penaltyHowever, it is a very practice for any agencies to charge a fee for services renderedExchanges and refunds can be a long process and we have some out of pocket costs to cover as well - which is why we must charge a feeIn fact, most big online travel agencies and many airlines also charge processing fees for all exchanges and refunds

I had an excellent experience with [redacted] and she was patient with me whiles I did some back and forth decision on my dates

After I contact about my ticket and pay for them a week later my reservation canceledAnd they told me that they wouldn't reschedule a new flight for me I have been waiting three months for someone to contact me but no one call meI've call them after three months to find out about my reservationsTo find out that they could not give me the tickets that I need it and told me that you'll give me a refundIf I would've waited for the date that I was told I was leaving I would've found I did I have a ticket and I was been in Lot troubleI would never uses service again

Although the lure to get me on the phone with this organization was a low fare, much lower than the others I had found while searching for flights, once I was on the phone with the agent I quickly learned that that low price wouldn't work for technical reasons I was bummed, but, I stuck with the agent and he was very courteous and patient and helpful I wound up paying a fare $300+ more than the low number that had attracted me to call them, but the fare I paid was actually still lower than the average of the others I had found, by nearly $ So, overall, a positive experience

This is the second time I have used [redacted] for scheduling an international trip for us He is very cooperative and works hard to please his customers I did have another prson from the organization contact me today, but I told him I was already working with [redacted] and would wait for him

Their Website is based on Fraud You give thier seach engine the dates you wish to travel and expect pricing based on those dates In my case June They returned a fare oanly valid October through November, and you have to click on a hidden link to find that out

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/03) */ The customer ordered an air ticket through ITN on 07/21/Before the sale was finalized, the ITN agent walked the customer through all details of the itinerary and drew his attention to the fare rulesHe filled out the form and confirmed the following: "I am aware of applicable rules, conditions, restrictions and / or penalties" As mentioned, he contacted ITN and requested to change the departure date from 12/03/to 12/09/The airlines changes the fares often, and his new dates was significantly more expensive due to its closer proximity to Christmas seasonTherefore, he was quoted the fare difference and applicable exchange penalty Due to high fare difference he decided to cancel his tripOn October 5th, 13th and 15th the customer was advised of a total $amount to be deducted from the paid amountThe breakdown of all fees and penalties was provided in every e-mailThe customer was confused that there was any penalty as he considered there was enough time for the carrier to re-sell his seats thus he should not be charged for the cancellation penaltyHe wanted to pay only $ITN processing feeHowever, he later authorized the refund and replied: "Please go ahead and refund me the $626.00." ITN would not process the refund without the customer's authorization It should be noted that the fare restrictions are set forth by the airlines, and ITN has no control over themOn all ITN outgoing documents the customer was advised of the following: If fare rules allow refunds and/or exchanges, a $ITN fee per ticket will be charged to process any refund and/or exchange requestThis fee will be collected in addition to the penalties charged directly by the airline and/or recalled by the airline from ITN In addition, the customer was advised in written that "after the tickets are issued, any changes or refunds are subject to the restrictions of the fares usedPlease pay attention to the fare restrictions of your ticketsIf you need more flexibility with your tickets in terms of refunds and exchanges, please consult your agent and request a less restrictive fare." Hello I bought tickets from travel, They send me conformation, they changed in my bank accounthours before the departure , they aske me to pay more money, because the ticket prices goes UPI try to talk to there maneger, he wasn't available in day'sThere I couldn't find some honest person to give me the right answerNever go to this business, and I am not recommended for other people
