Revdex.com:
I will post this method of resolution all over the internet because MANY people are having the same issue with this company and others like this.  This should not be an acceptable business practice anywhere in the United States.

But as for me, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10064490, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Thank you.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I thank you for your intervention and wish that it could have been resolved so promptly with this company's customer service. I still worry that the company's business practice of advertising a one time one fee offer should not include automatic enrollment into a monthly recurring package. I urge you to work with this company to change their messaging on these "introductory offers" to be clear that they are an introductory offer with automatic monthly enrollment. I do not have any respect for a company that bases their business model on taking advantage of people through specially selected wording, especially brand new moms. No membership and no contract to me very clearly means no automatic enrollment in their services. I am warning other moms about these "introductory offers" that are not advertised as such.
Thank you again for your help.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I signed up in March from a flyer advertising the [redacted] books free just pay the shipping and handling. It did not state it was a subscription service or the need to cancel if you did not wish to continue to be billed. When I saw a random charge on my credit card in April I was scratching my head for days till this thing arrived in the mail again. So I immediately went online and *thought* I cancelled my subscription. Come June I received another one! Went back online looking to cancel again or for anything. Attempted to review my billing information but they put black writing in a black box! Can I say least helpful "security" measure ever. When I finally talked to the woman on the phone turns out they've already shipped yet another "featured promotion" and I will be billed for that too. Apparently that was in an email that I NEVER received. Oh and I find out there is no way to cancel the account online.
The whole thing really seems really dishonest to me. If you were upfront about your service you wouldn't need to trick people into surprise subscriptions and "bonus" shipments they never expected.
