JadooTV is not shutting down all previous models of JadooTVThe models that are no longer functional are the 1st and 2nd
models which were launched and years ago, respectivelyThose models are getting to a point where the hardware is outdated and can no longer support the newer software of the channel formats as that is continuously evolvingSimilar to first and second generation iPhones are no longer working
We stopped selling Jadooin so please tell us how you purchased this product in Kindly provide us with the JadooBOX ID (it is written on the bottom of the unit) so we can look into when this device was sold
We did not charge our customers monthly or annual fees for the product because our customers are NOT under contractThe customer made a one time purchase and the product had a limited time warrantyThe JadooTV device was free of recurring fees for the lifetime of the DEVICEAs with all machines, the hardware can only last so longThe customer can contact us and we will offer them an extension on the Loyalty program discount if they upgrade to the latest modelPlease have them reference this case

Hi, I bought a Jadoo tv box in for Euros in Germany which is a very big amount for me or anyoneWhen I bought the box I was told that I have to pay just once, it is a one time purchase fee & I can use the box for life without any further payment unless channels become pay channelsOver these years I barely used it for 1-yrs
Jadoo TV INC is now disabling the boxes, saying that the box is very old & does not support the new formats & new technologyThey will give you all big time stories saying that the box is like a smart phone whose life is like 3-years & after that you need to buy a new oneAll big times storiesThis is just a trick by Jadoo TV INC to steal more money from their customersMy box was still working till 31st July 2015, but with limited features which were good enough for me, but most important it was still workingAfter 31st July the box was deliberately disabled by JADOO TV INC, which is clearly a violation of the contract of Jadoo boxNow they are forcing us to upgrade at discount prices of XXX-XXX EUROTHE JADOO CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM SAYS WE HAVE UPGRADED OUR SERVERS NOW NOTHING CAN BE DONEWOW!!!

JadoovTV contends that there was no contract but they forget that their terms and conditions of their online purchase did not specify that their product Jaddoohad limited life
If they decide to stop supporting any product, the onus then lies on the company to either grandfather the product into their new line, allow free upgrade, or allow trade ins, as the decision to terminate was by the company and not the customerWhen electronic products get obsolete, they continue to be supported by the seller/manufacturer or are replaced FOC and are not shelvedThere can be several legitimate reasons when a product needs to be upgraded but that doesn't mean that this should affect or jeopardize the rights of the customers who bought itA professional company will never allow such unfair practice and will always continue to support their old customers who have been adversely affected by their independent decisions to upgrade a productJadooTV's decision to discontinue supporting Jadoowithout any free upgrades to their old customers or replacement or trade ins, only creates more insecurity in the market as they attempt to sell their new product Jadoo4.What assurance will the customer have once they upgrade to Jadoojust to find that JadooTV has once again repeated history by discontinuing their new Jadooand the cycle just continuesIn my opinion this is an unjust trade practice and the company has certainly lost my loyalty and I'm sure like me there will be several other consumers who have been adversely affected by this changeI have TVs as old as years and cars as old as years but have never encountered such unfair treatment by a sellerEven old cars if traded have a valueAtleast JadooTV should allow people to trade in their Jaddoodevice for their JadooThe company needs to wake up and stay in line with the 20th century trade practices where products go obsolete all the time but their support from manufacturers/sellers continues

The response from Jadoo TV Incis far too away and is NOT based on actual factsIn my original complaint I had clearly mentioned that the problem exists in VOD sectionI am still encountering the problem that in VOD section, specially in DRAMAS-PAKISTAN the STOP, REWIND & FORWARD features are not working in MOST casesAnd this was confirmed by one Mr***, Supervisor, Technical Support Department after checking at his endTherefore the statement from Jadoo TV of "All is Well" is not based on truth and I reject it out rightly without out any Fear and or favorThe problem originally reported still exits and no Solution/Remedy of any kind has been offeredInstead they are trying to down play the situation, or trying to shy away from the factsBeing an Enterprenureship they should admit that their Quality Control Department had not done their job well enough before marketing the ProductI urge to Revdex.com & Jadoo TV Incto look into these matters on a serious note
As for the LIVE section, during the COMMERCIAL BREAKS from the original source, Jadoo TV overlaps (Super Impose) their own Advertisements (Local Ads) during the ongoing programs which results in FREEZING The CONTENTS streamed from the original sourceThis has become a regular and frequent feature which really frustrates the viewers
I have not lodged this complaint to gain any benefit from Jadoo TV IncI am their one of the Loyal Customers Eversince they introduced their very first Product Jadoo 1, then moved on to Jadoo and Jadoo and now on Jadoo Therefore the question any MIDDLE GROUND does not arise at allAll I am trying is to help Jadoo TV to improve their latest products and to make the Existing and Prospective Viewers AWARE of the problems associated with this product, therefore while buying such a product they should make an informed decision

The ads are played during the commercial break of the actual programmingIf your device is freezing during/after commercials we will forward this request to the tech department and give you an update on this solution

In my earlier response I did mention that in LIVE section Jadoo TV is still playing (Super Imposing) the local Ads which eventually freezes the Screen/BoxAnd this happens every time when ever they play the local AdsNo doubt these Ads are super imposed during the commercial breaks from the sourceWhile the issue of Local Ads remains a debateable issue, the main problem is of the interface which results in freezing the stream that is what frustrates viewers the most
As I have mentioned in my earlier response that I have not filed this complaint in order to get any personal gain or benefit but for the information of the intending/prospective buyers to make an informed decision and to why go for an Inferior quality product in the presence of Superior quality products that are available in the market at an even cheaper price
From Mr***'s response I gathered an impression that the problems, I am referring to, may have been Box related that's why he offered replacement of the BoxIn case he and his Tech Team strongly feels that these problems may have been Box related then I would certainly like to have it replacedI will, however, return the Jadoo box only after I receive the new oneMy complete particulars, i.eName, Address etcare available both with Revdex.com and Jadoo TV Inctherefore they shouldn't be worried about the return of my Box
