was first launched in 2010) and you received 400+ live channels and also tens of thousands of recorded content for free. This was no extra charge (monthly or annual).
Since software and the quality of IPTV channel streaming is constantly evolving, the Jadoo2 model, being 5 years old, had reached a point where the hardware no longer supported newer features. Hardware on Jadoo3 and Jadoo4 models are supportive of these new features.
We had an upgrade program for returning customers, such as yourself, where they could upgrade to the latest version of JadooTV IPTV (Jadoo4) set top box for a significantly reduced price in comparison to a first time buyer. This offer expired in July 2015, but if you contact our sales department at [redacted], we will offer you the same price and possibly an even lower price for all your troubles. I dont agree, I have email records where list of 10-15 channels were listed and within few months channel disappeared, I have lengthy communication where I was promised again and again that jadootv is working with content provider to get more channel which never happened, so statement made about 400+ channels is not true. secondly device was bought in Sept 2011, and content started disappearing within 6 months and when I contacted was told we will get more content(have proof of email communication, lately they wanted phone communication so that there is no proof).
Product almost stopped working early this year as Jadoo tv wanted customer to upgrade hence they stopped support old equipment.
Major issue is, did Jadoo TV specified that Jadoo2 has life of 5 yrs and that when I bought the hardware device already 1-2 yrs life was usedup, did they communicated to me in anyway at the time of buying the equipment that this has much limited life, they never communicated anything, if they can prove this I will accept it but it was never communicated to me in anyway.
Wrt content, it never delivered what it promised, they are making claims of 400+ channels and 1000's of content which is not true, if you have so many channels listed but only handful of them work, you can not claim that about endless content.
Apart from refund, option is Free Upgrade to new version of Jadootv or make my current jadoo2 working and keep on supporting it (contents channels working). I already paid over 250 for device which never delivered what was promised.

You paid for the hardware of this device, which is approximately five (5) years old (Jadoo2 model was first launched in 2010) and you received 400+ live channels and also tens of thousands of recorded content all for free. Since software is constantly evolving, IPTV programming needs to be constantly updated and at times, the hardware is so outdated that the software may not be compatible. Unfortunately, at that point the hardware becomes obsolete. The Jadoo2 model, being 5 years old, had reached a point where the hardware no longer supported newer features/programming. However, the hardware on Jadoo3 and Jadoo4 models are supportive of these new features/programming.
JadooTV offers an upgrade program to those returning customers, such as yourself, whose older devices have become obsolete. You may upgrade to the latest version of JadooTV IPTV (Jadoo4) set top box for a significantly reduced price, compared to a first time buyer who has to pay $199 USD. This offer is now valid, and the price has been dropped to $149 USD, which is inclusive of shipping. Please contact our sales department at [redacted] immediately. As indicated in my earlier email, said number of channels/content was never available, just having an icon which doesn't work or gives any content will not be accounted as working channel. in an email I was provided with list of Indian channels which are available on Jadoo2 but after sometime they disappeared and never was available again, I had bought jadoo2 for indian hindi channels and when said channels disappeared, unit was of no use but nothing was done. I had talked with support over phone as at many occasion they wanted me to call and I told them if channels will not be added I wanted to return the unit but was told that unit can not be returned and that company is working on adding the content back which never happened.
But issue is not that, agree that there was no contract BUT it was not mentioned anywhere that device which I bought in Sept 2011 had life of 5 yrs and that I would only be left with 3.5yrs of product life, this was mentioned this year and hence I wanted to exercise my right for refund as this important piece of information was never disclosed at the time of purpose or even with in trial period else I would have either not bought the device in first place or returned it within 10-14days of trial period. When I bought a device, I assume this will work for long time but that didnt happen. Any other device which I buy from market like google tv,roku or any internet content streaming device either will list the life of the device or else they keep on upgrading the software and make sure they are supporting older device, here JadooTV failed to disclose that information and then just to force customer to upgrade, they stopped old device from working, its like my way or highway, this is clear breach of customer trust and original understanding when the product was sold to customer. Either provide me proof that this information was disclosed to me at the time of purchase or in reasonable time or else accept of the option I listed below.
I already paid $250+ when I bought the device though original list of channels (10-15) which were provided never worked(I have email from your support), this issue also happened few days after trial period and when contacted was told that jadootv is working to get legal content which never happened.
As indicated earlier, I want either
-my money back or
-my current device working or
-replace my current device free of charge with newest device including shipping or any other associated cost.

Please understand, that it is not possible for the company to continue service on Jadoo3 devices any longer. As stated in our message,
"Jadoo3/3S was launched 6 years ago in 2012. The technology in Jadoo3/3S was based on Linux and Adobe Flash Lite the best available at the time.
These technologies have since been replaced by Android. The technology used in Jadoo3/3S is no longer supported by its providers and many of our content partners, which means we cannot
provide the excellent level of service on Jadoo3/3S that you expect from us."
 
As your personal device is now over 5 years old, it will not be possible for us to replace the device, but we can offer you a loyalty discount on a new device. Please let us know if you change your
mind. We hope you will decide to upgrade and continue to enjoy the JadooTV service.
