I BOUGHT A REBUILT TRANSMISSION THAT FAILED TO WORK BECAUSE OF USED PARTS UTILIZED INTERNALLYTHIS TRANSMISSION COST ME ALMOST DOLLARS ON TOP OF ANOTHER HOURS OF LABOR AND HAS SET MYSELF, MY SHOP, AND MY SCHEDULE ENTIRELY BACKWARDSAT THIS POINT IN TIME MY CUSTOMER THAT OWNS THE VEHICLE HAS GONE WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR OVER A MONTH AND I AM LOSING MONEY ON THIS JOBJASPER IS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT SIMPLY WARRANTING THE TRANSMISSION OUT IS ALL THAT IS NECESSARY FOR THE JOB Product_Or_Service: REBUILT TRANSMISSION

Terrible Company, We had a new engine put in, in [redacted] Washington on 10/31./to the tune of $7, My husband is years old and I am We left on a much needed vacation and drove 3,mile to have the engine go out in Nevada in the desert There was no cell service and we finally were able to flag a man going by that contacted a tow truck service for us that cost us $to go approxiately miles He took us to a place where was not only where he had his tow truck business but also was a Goodyear Shop that he said could fix our truck Unfortunately they could ot fix it and we needed to get back home We didn't have any place to stay so our friends who live in [redacted] Nevfurnished us a place to stay Then we were told it would cost us $to to tow the truck to [redacted] where there was a place called [redacted] Motors that would fix our truck We did not take them up on their offer We were fortunate that our friend in [redacted] had a flat bed truck and he hauled it for us John from Jasper Motors told us they would send us a new motor, [redacted] would but it in and [redacted] would send us a bill and then they would reimburse us for $4, Soon as we finally made it home they called us to tell us it wasn't their fault the engine went out so they would honor their warrenty They are blaming this on the mechanic in [redacted] that put the engine in Now were having problems with this engine so that of course will be so we don't know who that will be blamed on I could go on and on but please if your going to have an engine changed please read reviews After I returned home I found out of reviews for Jasper Engines and Transmission that are allnegative Anyone looking to buy an Engine please read all the reviews I found a lot of mine under Customer Affairs The biggest percentage of the reviews all say the same thing, Jasper will not honor their warrenty and they all had the same problems

I purchased the transmission from [redacted] in [redacted] VA An authorized Jasper dealerThe original transmission was slipping in reverse after 87k milesAll other gears worked fineI paid an extra for a total of to install a Jasper replacement to improve towing reliabilityThe transmission was an upgrade from the standard [redacted] completely flushed the cooler and replaced all the transmission lines due to the fact that the original lines did not connect to new transmissionThe transmission seem to do fineThe Cummins diesel was rated at ft lbs of torque and the new transmission was rated at ft lbs of torque You would think this transmission would last forever The transmission failed at 89k while towing a lb trailer with the Dodge dieselThe transmission blew a seal and all the fluid was pumped out unknown while traveling at highway speedThe noise was the clue that something was very wrongPulled into a Food Lion parking lot and then noticed my trailer was covered in transmission fluidI contacted JasparI was told they would reimburse / hr labor rate which would not cover the Dodge dealer ship labor rateI was hours from home with a two year old Airstream covered in transmission fluidJasper hinted the failure was probably due to a bad cooler of plugged ATX linesThis is total garbage since the work was performed by authorized Jasper installer who told me they flushed the cooler and replaced all ATX linesJasper could not give me a time to repair and told me the old one had to be shipped back before they could honor the repairsWith my wife in tears I elected to trade in a [redacted] of a nice truck to purchase a newThe way Jasper handles the warranty left me sick to my stomach and out for a 6-month old Jasper re-manufactured transmission with less than milesI will never ever spend money on a Jasper engine or transmissionBad company and blame everything but there faulty transmission

we bought a jasper trans in and the co who install it went out of bussiess and we are left with a broken down trans after thousand miles wh our trans went out here injulyof this yr we had a jasper trans install and it lasted around miles and just stopped we check with gargees they cant tell us to much but it will cost up to dl to fix or replace

Cylinder head failure after less than 30,miles with temperature issue from original install I am writing this letter to make you and your company aware of engine failure on a Jasper engine in less than 30,milesI purchased a Jasper engine and had it installed in from [redacted] at the West bypass location in [redacted] MoSoon after the replacement was completed there was an exhaust leak located on the Passenger side exhaust manifold where the manifold meets the cylinder headI immediately took it back and they repaired the leak at [redacted] soon after that I noticed the engine running hotter than so I took it back and was told I needed to replace the fan and clutch assyTo which they did the repairs, no change in temperature, next they said to change the radiator, and they didThere was no change in the temperature reading, they then said to flush system, which they did still no change in reading, they also made other repairs with no chang

The engine I purchased has bad workmanship .It is off by 11,causing the engine to blew with 11k milesNot a warranty issue its a bad product It's not even a one start rating I spoke with [redacted] in the main office at the XXX-XXX-XXXX number and I am extremely disappointed that Jasper does not stand behind their product I understand their are warranties BUT how can you warranty a product that was defective since it left Jasper Engines The provided a defective product and engine that was off 11,of percent and if you know engines you know what happens The block is not level and this allows NO SEAL and dirt and debri get into and then before you know it your cylinders are misfiring and your engine blows after 11, YES this is what happened and now I have to courtVery unnecessary and I just want to save anyone the trouble of going through this experience and having to take them to court to stand behind their product I am attaching the pictures so you can all see thi

I have installed several Engines and Transmissions from Jasper I can honestly say I have never had an issue with a Jasper product I have made errors before installing their products and Jasper always helps out with no hesitation as even when its my fault they always bail me out They are in my opinion an awesome company to deal with and I will continue to brag about their products to my customers Chad R [redacted] , owner of R [redacted] Automotive in ***, TX

Bought a vortec motor & has not even lasted 40,miles with the oil pump given outThe rep said I should of bought a new motor & hung up
Bought a vortec motor for my gmc Sierra zThe 1st motor from jasper didn't even last monthsHas to argue to get that replaced and has to pay the shop double labor to reinstallIt's been past my time frame for warranty but the motor should last more than 40,milesThe oil pump is bad after just 40,milesThis truck is used for vacations and suchIt is well maintainedThis jasper ordeal has cost me over in total labor and the purchase of the 1st motor and start kitThat includes double laborI called them several times and all I can get is even tho the number of miles are low there is nothing they can doI should not have to put a fourth motor in a truck with less than on the odometer!

On 4/4/I paid *** *** *** in *** Ohio,*** to install a Jasper TransmissionThe car broke down while we were travelling from Indiana to Virginia While driving the car back to Va we realized the new tranny had several issues Contacted Jasper (production #XXXXXX) and was instructed to take it to an authorized Jasper Tech in *** VaTwo weeks after it was repaired it still had noticeable issues On 5/10/it went back to the tech in *** Va and he determined the whole transmission had to be replaced because celluloid codes were tagged I bought a brand new product that has NEVER worked properly Jaspers warranty will not cover the entire cost to replace their productWhen I contacted them I spoke to *** (ext XXXXX) He admitted that the trannys are assembled by humans and they do make mistakes but if I wanted the warranty to cover the entire cost to replace their defective product I would have

we are a franchised dealership and we purchased a rebuilt engine from Jasper Engines and Transmissions to install in a customer truckWe were informed that it had a year or mile warrantyThe engine failed in less than monthsWhen we purchased engine they let us know that if there where any warranty issues that customer could bring to use and we could diagnosis the problemAs I said the customer brought the vehicle back to us and the engine has failed with catastrophic failureThe technician was informed of what procedures to follow to diagnose engine by warranty DeptThe Warranty Dept determined that a replacement engine was requiredthe complaint that we have is that the warranty department informed us that they would pay the labor to replace the motor but then they informed us that they only pay $an hour shop rate which is significantly less than the going rate in the state and in our shop it is $an hour shop ratewe fill like we where misinformed abou

Jasper warranty is good for 100,miles or years, whatever comes firstBut hese warranties are good in case something happens right away and the product is supposed to last for way longer (about 300,miles)I maintain very well my cars, keeping records of everything I do on themThe purchase of this engine was purchased years and months agoTherefore, months that the warranty expiredThis engine only ran for 80,miles
