Cylinder head failure after less than 30,miles with temperature issue from original install
I am writing this letter to make you and your company aware of engine failure on a Jasper engine in less than 30,milesI purchased a Jasper engine and had it installed in from *** *** at the West bypass location in *** MoSoon after the replacement was completed there was an exhaust leak located on the Passenger side exhaust manifold where the manifold meets the cylinder headI immediately took it back and they repaired the leak at *** *** soon after that I noticed the engine running hotter than so I took it back and was told I needed to replace the fan and clutch assyTo which they did the repairs, no change in temperature, next they said to change the radiator, and they didThere was no change in the temperature reading, they then said to flush system, which they did still no change in reading, they also made other repairs with no chang

My company purchased a product from Jasper Engines that was defective out of the box, my company installed the jasper part and attempted to start engine which it wouldn't start, tech diagnosed as the pump that Jasper sold us was bad, but when this pump failed it damaged approximately $worth of new engine components that had been installed at the same time as the pumpCalled jasper to see how this would be resolved and the only compensation for a $mistake on their part was a $labor claim (which they also refused to do), and obviously they attempted to blame us for the part going bad without any real evidence, I attempted in every way to work with them and gave them every opportunity to physically inspect any component of the truck they would like and if I caused the damage I will apologize and move on, but they refuse to put any effort into resolving this or giving me significant evidence that the pump was not defective when they shipped it I would love to discuss this

Jasper is a great company all around Wonderful to their people and stand behind a great product, after touring their facilities you see how well they treat their employees and customers

Transmission has failed within of warranty replacement Company refuses to replace
This is concerning an E4OD transmission for a Ford FOriginal production number is XXXXXX Original transmission was installed by *** *** in Nov
I purchased truck in June of and transmission failed within month Transmission was replaced in Aug of and has for the most part been unused since, has not towed anything at all and has less than miles on the "remanufactured" transmission - production number XXXXXX
Transmission recently started acting up and it was determined the clutch packs are toast"***" from *** *** in *** *** OR called Jasper and was told that because this truck has had failed transmissions they will not warranty this failed tranmission - EVEN THOUGH IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY
I will be filing a small claims court case next Monday if this is not taken care of I have a vacation planned starting Jul 1st and

Transmission lasted miles
In Jan of the transmission in my Dodge when outHad it towed to a local garageThey recommended a Jasper transmission and sold me on the warrantyMy fault I should have read it my self, the fine print says everything about Jasper, that they are not responsible for any kind of loss or inconvenience that you will have when their product failsAnd it did with only miles on itI was hours from my home, which is in *** AZI was in *** at the time of the failureHad my truck towed to *** *** in ***, AZThey diagnosed that the transmission had burned fluid and that something inside the transmission had come apartJasper did sent a new trans and torque converter
The bill to remove and replace the trans was $ Jasper sent me a check for $ because they say they only pay $an hour for laborSo now I am out towing and $pulse any other expense I had to get back to ***
What I can see is

in april I purchased a motor from jasper and was told that if anything happens to the motor take it anywhere you like and jasper will cover all costwell I put engine in and it had no bottom end power and at miles it started tickingi took it to *** *** *** and he talk to jasper and jasper said they dont pay that much for labor of installing a new motor that I would be responceable for the billi get on the phone with them and they send me to their prefered shop and truck sat for weeks before it was touched because they were behind on installing motorsi had them install a new intake and took truck home cause they wanted me to pay 1200$ labor and let jasper re emburse me the money when they get readyi couldnt find another shop that would work with jaspers pay rate so I took it back to the prefered shop *** *** and told them put a motor in ill pay youweeks later not touched again I pay a wrecker to pick truck up and take it to *** *** *** where they in

We have purchased JASPER Engines over the years Recently when working on a JASPER engine (still under warranty) that needed a fuel pump transfer pump, JASPER required numerous tests delaying the repair After the 6th test again confirming the fuel pump transfer pump the JASPER rep was short and rudeA conference call needed to occur to get the part The rep would not agree to the part and offered an alternative, citing if this alternative would not work a new engine would be shipped out The rep had no insight into the inconvenience for the customer who needed to the vehicle for work

First engine managed miles, it vibrated and ended up with water in the oilThey replaced that engine along with a little for the mechanicThe second Engine also had a very bad vibrationI managed miles and could not stand the vibrationI took the engine to another shopTore the engine down, rear main trashed, the thrust bearing trashed, piston ring pins frozen, the pistons to small for the out of round cylindersA Jasper rep looked at the damage and haven't seen him sinceThat was three months ago

I have installed several Engines and Transmissions from Jasper I can honestly say I have never had an issue with a Jasper product I have made errors before installing their products and Jasper always helps out with no hesitation as even when its my fault they always bail me out They are in my opinion an awesome company to deal with and I will continue to brag about their products to my customers Chad R***, owner of R*** Automotive in ***, TX
