I received a phone call from what appears to be a cell phone number because it started with 443 I answered the phone and I Lady asked for a woman named Holly I told her that this is not their number I asked what it was in regards to so I can relay the message to her it was an important business matter I said okay so you're a debt collector just tell me the name of the company and they number for her to call and I'll let her know to call you she said I cannot release that information because it involves Holly I said you're not releasing any of hollys personal information just tell me the name of the company you are and the contact number for you and I will give it to her she then proceeded to argue this with me I was a debt collections manager and I told her that it is not against the law to tell me the name of your business and a contact number she continued to be evasive and argue this to which I said look this isn't her phone so do not call me again do not call this number again you now have that on your recorded line she said believe me I don't want to call you I said you are she then rudely hung up on me I called back and a gentleman answered the phone I requested to speak to a manager he asked for my name I told him my first name only because I do not need to give you my full name considering the account does not involve me he asked what it's in regards to I said I would like to speak to a manager or supervisor he said is it in regards to an account I said yes just transfer me to a supervisor he said sir I'm just trying to get some information so when I transfer the call he knows what it's in regards to I said you don't need to know any of that all you need to do is transfer the call to which he starts debating this with me I told him look I'm at work and you're preventing me from doing my job he said so are you I said no you're doing your job you're making your collections calls and another part of your job is to transfer someone when they ask to be transferred which now you are not doing so transfer the call you *** he then proceeded to try and flip it on me saying that now I'm being rude after debating this for 10 minutes instead of just transferring the call and then someone says I will not have you talk to my employees like that I am a manager I said you just told me you weren't he said that was a different guy to which I said *** you have the same voice so now this guy is trying to argue with me when in the end all I wanted was to know that my number was taken out of their system and how they even got my number as well as file a complaint on how incredibly unprofessional and rude their customer service is. I get that they are a debt collector but that is not a reason to treat someone like a piece of *** or talk down with them debate with them argue with them and then hang up on them what should have been no more than a five-minute conversation turned into a 20-minute debate where they hung up on me several times and I was never able to find out if my number was removed. I have taken a screenshot of their number and wrote down the name of this company and its other third-party affiliates so that when they call me again I will sue the *** out of them for harassment because now I have proof that I asked you to stop calling me and the time and the number saved.

This is very sad. This company goes against intentionally everything the Revdex.com holds dear. I was trying to send the documentation to support my request for the return of my money to the rep and the court.. The rep lied about his email. He refused to give information should they be incorrect as to when the monies would be returned. He wouldnt advise. I found it. ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE. More I find the more I think they are stealing and then lying about it. What person refuses to respond to a question on their own website? In the years I have worked, in banking and in other industries. I have yet to hear a coworker or anyone refuse to give that simple information.
I now feel that the rep was purposely lying. His tone was such as to intimate me. That tactic will never work on me, nor it should any one. I refuse to let petty nasty people get me to back down. And if anything..if fuels my fire to stick to my guns.
I hope nobody else has to do what I have to. But please, document everything if they contact you and don't pay until you get confirmation. (And yell to the highest person at the head office. You can look up the higher ups on ***. You can send them the request via *** email.) Appear in court. I wasnt able due to an illness that kept me out of work and bed. Do not let them intimate you. The more I pressed the nastier he got. Oh and dont stoop to their level. Keep your request nice, respectful, and firm. This will hold up your credibility. - Good luck

Beware of this scam collections company. Bought a 5 year old $100 debt from another company that became a debt on my record due to the company’s error. Jefferson Capital Systems admitted to never even attempting to contact me to resolve prior to dinging my credit (prior company never contacted me about money owed in first place). I explained the situation to two supervisors (both of whom have poor customer service skills) and said I would even pay but they refused to remove from my credit. Instead, they purchase my debt for pennies on the dollar, do not even contact me requesting to pay, yet add a collections account to my pristine credit, and refuse to remove from my credit even when I agree to pay them something I never owed them in the first place? No email or phone number to speak to anyone who would understand the situation and, even after proving to be inflexible, ask me to send everything in writing via snail mail to higher ups ins organization, while my credit continues to get dinged in the meantime. Unethical practice, and can’t even do their job which is to actually attempt to collect the debt. Zero stars

Fraudulent account was opened by *** in my name. I received my first notice of this from Jefferson capital systems saying I owe them $2720.47. This was never a legitimate claim. I try to file a fraud report with Jefferson capital. Jefferson capital sent me a form they call ID Theft affirmation. This form is asking for my full legal name, my address, my birthdate, my Social security number all of the information anyone would need to steal my ID. FAKE COMPANY

I check my credit on a regular basis, and this company just reported to the three top credit reporting agencies that I owe them 265 dollars from a utility company I haven't done business with in about 8 years. My utilities have been included in my rent for the last 5 years. I also have not received anything in the mail from them, ever. They don't even have my address. My credit score just dropped 50 points due to this act of fraud. I might sue them.

This place does illegal practices and is a complete joke. They put debt/collections on your credit without contacting you first, without proving anything and without signatures or proof of what the debt is. When you call, you're transferred around 5 times then hung up on. I have won my cases through *** and *** via *** = they closed the accounts, but *** I'm having a problem with. I am 6 disputes deep and now about to file a suit if the Revdex.com does not do something about this. They need to learn the laws before they go out and ruin peoples lives.

Received a notice from this "company" (File #***) demanding payment of $1446 on an old debt. I sent them a letter well within the 30 days required requesting that they provide proof that they are authorized to collect on this debt. I will not pay to a slimy company without proof as there is no guarantee that it will resolve the debt and not them scamming the money. I received nothing. It is also impossible to reach them by phone as if you do finally get a pickup, you sit forever on hold (burning my cell minutes). Yes, I became unemployed after an auto accident and got behind in bills, but I refuse to be bullied by this shady company when they refuse to provide the proof I requested months ago!

This company is very unprofessional. A credit hit showed up on my report and I was never coming ntacted by them by email, call or any method. The actual account they are collecting for was closed a year ago. It was opened fraudulently.

I received a collection letter from this company on an account that was never mine. I called in to the company and they verified that I was not the correct person they were trying to reach. They apparently just send collection letters to people with "same name" at various addresses to "fish" for money. This has to be some kind of fraudulent business practice. I would fear that some older person would get this erroneous type bill and send a check on an account that they never had and did now owe money on.

This company FRAUDLENTLY takes incorrect data / records from *** then re-files an old debt as a new debt to try and force consumers in to a settlement. This is churning and is illegal. Also they violate Consumer protections in a Federal Court of Law. Look in to them and contact an atty.
