JELD-WEN received Ms***’s original complaint (#***) on June 1, We made contact with her the same day to discuss a mutually agreeable date for an inspection of her windows JELD-WEN also sent a technician to secure the window opening while Ms*** considers options for a
permanent solutionWe will continue to communicate directly with her as we work towards a resolution

I am rejecting this response because: I believe that you called
last week regarding my comment on line that I was surprised to find the case closed w/o much notice It can be re-opened and more info can be added when necessary.To bring the Revdex.com up to date, or to have you add to the complaint:A rep for Jeld-Wen visited on Friday April 7th I discussed the issues with him, he took both photos and lots of measurements, could easily see the issue, etc He also indicated that he has been with Jeld-Wen I think he said since about - and with his experience, this was indeed a Jeld-Wen door, even though there was no metal tag; he also thought that it could have been removed during the finishing/staining process He did recommend that if the caning (windows) were to be replaced, that all the windows should be done, not only those that showed the horrible twisting and warping - this would be to keep the colors of the brass/caning the same in all of the windows There are numerous cracks and shrinkage in the door, also noted and most likely photographed by him He was submitting his paperwork and photos to Jeld-Wen and I would assume that I would be contacted in the futureAs of now, 4-13-17, I haven't heard anything

JELD-WEN’s Customer Care department has remained in contact with Ms*** and has a third-party provider arranged to perform a service visitThe product required for service is expected to arrive on or about October 25, We appreciate Ms*** continuing patience as we allow manufacturing and scheduling time to resolve this claim

JELD-WEN regrets that Mr*** is dissatisfied with the door he purchased from The Home Depot in July Our Customer Care department contacted both the Home Depot store and Mr*** for additional information, and confirmed that the door supplied was as ordered JELD-WEN has no visibility into any communications between the end consumer and the dealer who places the product order, and cannot be responsible for errors that result from those communicationsAs there is no manufacturing defect in the door, and no warranty issue to address, we have closed our file

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: That's unacceptable to say that because they looked at and made repairs they are no longer responsibleThe door has never been properly functioning, the technician and jeldwen customer service acknowledged and took ownership of these problemsHow is it ok to leave a gap seeing to outside so weather,bugs etc can get into the house? Again, the technician and customer service acknowledged that there is problems but now do not want to address them, businesses should not be allowed to treat consumers this wayI have asked repeatedly to have a supervisor come inspect thisPlease do the right thing and fix your errors.
