Pop up on computer said I had to get help to clean up computer.I feel that the company misrepresented who they were and were working for microsoft.Being very billable I orally agreed to pay 1150 Since there was a blue screen that had an attempt by Russia to wire $10000. In addition I was to send a check by tax besides 2 credit cards. My computer was still the same the next day I had been taken. Nothing was done and I went to best buy to fix.If this company did any this it was to take off my firewall.I tried to stop repayment almost immediately appeal to credit card co. Was denied but nothing was done.Nothing even close to satisfied and I consider I was scamed.

This is with regards to the complaint ID: *** on Revdex.com dated 10/17/2018 for a transaction dated 08/14/2018. The customer had an issue with his computer as she was getting pop-ups on her system and she was unable to login to her AOL email account. Our technician looked into the issue and informed the customer about her system was infected and there are lots of toolbars installed on the browsers. Technician also found that current security software on her computer is expired, so he suggested new security software for her computer along with an annual contract. Thus, the customer purchased the security and annual services from Jinigram LLC and paid $ 1150.The technician informed the customer that he will go ahead and clean up the computer to remove all the pop-ups and will install the security on her system and also fix her email issue.

Later, the case was transferred to the technician who optimized the computer and activated security on it. The technician went ahead and cleaned the browsers removed the toolbars fixed her AOL email issue and also fixed AOL desktop and also went ahead and confirmed from the customer on the call about the issue resolution and she confirmed that issue has been resolved and the security has been activated.

Next day customer called us and said she wants the refund of $350 for the security software which she paid and we went ahead and processed the refund for the same.

Later customer raised the dispute with her bank for the chargeback, we went ahead and provided all the related documents for this transaction to the bank as well.

It was a shock to us when we found that Phyllis Parks had raised a complaint at Revdex.com on for a refund of $800 without even considering the fact that our technician resolved her issue and also activated the security software on her system. The customer made a false allegation to affect the goodwill of the company with an intend to get her refund.

As per our complete disclosure rules, we informed the customer that we were a third party and informed our company name and the same is clearly mentioned in every email and invoice sent to the customer during the period of transaction.

Resolution:

At Jinigram we believe in transparency in business and give high regard to Customer Satisfaction. The technician went ahead and fixed the issue and also installed the security software. Later when our customer service team contacted her for feedback she confirmed that her issue has been resolved and security is working fine. When she asked for the refund of $350.00 we also went ahead and provided the same.

Since the customer has already raised the chargeback of $800 with the bank, we are in process of dispute & have provided all the relevant documents to the bank and the case is under review.

A consumer should be more prudent when dealing with a company that is as customer friendly and consumer-centric as we are. You had an issue and we resolved. We believe she would be satisfied with our service and if not, we appreciate if the customer contacts us to resolve the issue.

Jinigram first lured me in under false pretenses. When I began having problems with my printer I googled HP support and called the number which turned out to be Jinigram’s. They told me they were contracted by HP to do their support and I believed them. Because I believed they were associated with HP support, when they offered to remote access my computer to look at the problem, I let them. I never would have let strangers I found on the internet onto my computer otherwise. They remote accessed my computer and looked around for a bit. Then, the Jinigram employee said my computer had been hacked and had a virus. When they told me they could fix it for $345 I remember saying I would prefer just to get a new laptop at that point, it was almost the same price. The Jinigram employee said I could do that but insisted that whoever hacked my laptop would have stolen my information and had access to everything I had ever used my laptop for, even if I replaced it. He insisted that the safest thing for me to do was to pay them to clean it up and that would protect my identity from being stolen. This is what he claimed as the annual care package. I was pressured into thinking my identity and private information was vulnerable to being stolen and that my only option was to allow them to fix it. I did not think of getting a second opinion or questioning it as they listed their phone number under false pretenses (HP support). If you look up Yelp reviews of Jinigram, they have also listed their phone number as Microsoft support and done this to others. In the last month of my annual care package my computer started to act crazy. There were large white circles appearing and it looked like someone else was controlling my mouse. It would open and close things and would not let me do anything. This happened within the last 2-3 weeks of the supposed care package, so once again I called Jinigram since this shouldn’t have happened. I asked them to fix it as they said this Annual Care Package was “insurance” and anything that happened for the year would be under that. They started asking me for more money and said for a monthly fee they could keep fixing my computer. That’s when I realized this wasn’t making sense. They had previously said the Annual Care Package was supposed to cover my computer. I also had virus software so between the two, how was my computer still getting viruses? I asked and all the employee would say was that a computer, like a car or bike, needs regular “tune ups”. I insisted that it didn’t make sense and again asked how between their care package which was supposed to protect me, and my virus software, I did not understand how this happened. Again the employee just responded that computers needed regular tune ups and would not answer further. I started seeing red flags with everything he said and immediately went online and found reviews of Jinigram. Everyone has had similar experiences to mine. It is not a legitimate business. Anyways, as I started to see these reviews, the panic set in and I realized that someone who at that moment was remote accessing my computer and asking me for more money, also knew I no longer believed their scam. I immediately said ‘I am revoking your right to access my computer, get off right now.’ They employee did not, he lingered for several minutes. From what I have read online, I believe that they download viruses to your computer right before their care package is up and then insist on you paying them more money. They have access to do so because people calling them are calling under false pretenses. They list their number under HP and Microsoft Support so people believe they can trust them. Since learning of the scam I have changed all my passwords and had to buy a new laptop, costing about $500. So in total, Jinigram has cost me a new laptop in addition to their $345 “Annual Care Package”.

Customer Information:

***Daytime Phone: ***E-mail: ***

The primary issue reported by the customer was she was unable to print from her HP Deskjet 2510 printer. She replaced the cartridges and it was still not printing. Our representative offered remote assistance to diagnose the printer because he was not physically present there. Later, he successfully took the remote with the complete disclaimer and customer’s permission. Further, he diagnosed both the devices the computer and the printer. As per the results, he educated the customer on possible reasons for the issue. He told the customer that the printer drivers seem infected or the services and applications on the computer which are required for the printer to work properly might be conflicting with each other. Also, the customer's computer was not running properly so agent further diagnosed her computer and educated her about the poor performance problem.

The representative provided the action plan to fix the problem with the customer's computer. The customer's computer was running slow so in order to enhance the performance, the representative suggested tune up and optimization of the system. Our representative offered Annual PC Care Pack. The representative shared the plan details, charges, and other important information. The customer was happy with the plan offered to him and agreed to the charges stated.

To take the payment in order to proceed with the installation, our billing manager came on the call. The billing manager restated the plan details and helped the customer with the payment formalities. The payment was processed successfully after taking the authorization from the customer. Later, the representative asked the customer to send us an email mentioning all her issues according to which the ticket was generated for her. The same email is attached for reference as a support request.

Once payment formalities were done session was transferred to our level 2 technician, he did the Clean Up and Optimisation of the customer's computer and removed the unwanted software, repaired and re-installed the printer drivers, configured the printer on the network along with the other important drivers. However, the issue turned out to be a hardware issue on the printer as there was an issue with cartridge and the technician assisted customer in getting in touch with hardware manufacturer and they stated that the printer is out of warranty. Technician went ahead and offered customer a new HP Envy 4520 printer without any additional cost. The new printer was shipped to the customer. The customer agreed and before ending the confirmation she acknowledged the fixation of her computer.

Later, we called customer again once she received the new printer and technician went ahead and assisted the customer in new printer setup and installation. Customer confirmed on the call that printer is installed and it is working fine.

Later it came as a shock to us when we were informed that she had filed a complaint at Revdex.com against Jinigram. Customer raised concerns that we took over her computer, as a procedure we took authorisation from the customer before sharing her screen. We are a very customer centric and transparent organization; all remote sessions and calls are monitored for quality and training purposes. We tell our customer at the beginning of the call that we are Jinigram an independent support provider and without customer authorization we never charge our customer. Moreover we never forced her to upgrade our services.

A consumer should be more prudent when dealing with a company that is as customer friendly and consumer centric as we are. She had an issue and we went ahead and send her a new printer since her printer was faulty. We are a legitimate company and we do take care of our customers. She purchased the annual care package on 13th June 2017 and her annual services are already expired so refund is not possible.

We pride our reputation in the market and backed with our detailed records can regard this complaint as an unlawful action by *** to defame our brand and an attempt to dissuade future consumers from working with us in spite the fact that we had fixed all her issues.

Tell us why here...

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:

I would like to again share that Jinigram falsely advertises online. They listed their phone number under HP support. I never would have allowed strangers online to remote access my computer as it is an invasion of privacy. Something Jinigram must be aware of, as they listed their phone number under a more reputable business. As for their comments that I was happy with what they offered, I was absolutely not happy. They offered to fix everything for $345 and I was in tears and told them I did not have that kind of money. I said I would prefer to just buy a new laptop at that point (something I had to do within a year anyways) and they further pressured me saying that whoever downloaded viruses to my computer had access to all my private information. They claimed that buying a new laptop would not save my identity from getting stolen, only allowing them to fix the problem would do that. As they falsely listed their phone number and further told me they were contracted by HP to do their support, I trusted them.

Jinigram further states that they provided me a printer at no additional cost. That is also false. When I was crying on the phone and said I could not afford their price, they said they could remove the price of the printer from the total if a new one was not needed. When they told me the virus had ruined my printer and I needed a new one, they insisted the price would be $345.

I would like to stress I never would have let anyone have remote access to my computer. It was because they convinced me they were apart of HP support that I allowed it. I do not know what they have seen or done on my laptop and I definitely feel violated. On Yelp other people have had similar issues. As their Annual Care Package is about to expire all of a sudden their computers start acting up. The same happened to me. Within a month of my Care Package about to expire, my laptop started going haywire. I was unable to use it or even control it. It honestly looked like someone else was controlling it. When I called Jinigram they said for additional money they could fix it. I said that didn’t make sense as the $345 I spent less than a year prior was supposed to cover me for the year and they had told me it was “insurance” to anything happening to my laptop. They couldn’t really explain anything beyond saying my computer needed to be “tuned up”, a term you will see in their previous response. I told them I did not understand how between their package and my own Virus Software I was having these problems. They just insisted that like a car, every so often a computer needs a “tune up”. That is when I started realizing how little sense it made that they were no longer fixing a problem that should have still been covered by the care package (it was mid May so I still had about a month left of my Annual Care Package). Instead they insisted I give them more money even though my Annual Care Package had not yet expired.

They did not fix all my issues, they insisted I give them more money to continue doing what they had advertised they would do in the first place. Also, if they were a legitimate company they would not need to list their number under HP support and further tell me they were contracted by HP support. I do not think sharing my experiences with others is unlawful, especially when they falsely advertise, pressured me for more money and did not fix my issue.

Sincerely

Had Lexmark printer problems. looked on what I thought was a Lexmark support. called number listed and got these people. they tested printer telling me that if it was the printer it was due to my computer had many problems that needed to be fixed. it was making printer act up. came in on team viewer working with printer running several test. then said they would fix computer for $180.00 + send me a new printer if they could not fix printer. I went ahead and agreed waiting 60 to 90 min. on their fix. they also sold me a *** anti virus for 95.00. they said printer head was gone in printer. they would send me a new hp3637 printer free with ink. to be here Thursday UPS. later I got email *** wanting passwords of and earlier account that my decised husband had had that I let run out because I did not think I needed that coverage and was told I didn't need it from a local computer business. ***(support Quantm Tech Inc.) did same as Jinigram, went into computer to try to find password of old account to set me up. They could not figure password and I had not records showing password my husband used. so they made me one. sold me 3 yrs. *** Anit Virus and I thought I was good to go till Quantm tech told me that Jinigram had scammed me , had not fixed anything on my computer and charged me all this money. so Jinigram broke contract by not fixing computer. of course they have already charged credit card but it being over weekend transaction has not yet processed. I am going to call bank this morning to see if I can get it stopped. by the way Quantm tech removed the *** that Jinigram had installed saying it was a cheep version for a big price not suitable for my computer. they uninstalled it which caused me to loose my original install from Jinigram and 95.00.

Consumer called to say her computer has been cleaned up by an outside vendor who told her that Jinigram loaded many viruses onto her computer. She filed a chargeback at her bank against Jinigram so matter resolved.

HP printer wouldn't work with wireless. I cannot believe that I fell for this SCAM. HP convinced me that my Mac was soooo filled with spyware that it could not connect with the printer. Connected me with the JINIGRAM for $. Two hours later, printer not working, the tech guy had completely disconnected me from my home network AND never called me back. The tech put me in bridgemode..I watched the it do it while he had control of my Mac....nothing to do with the printer which still didn't work. Now, all devices in my house are off line. Smart Tv, *** Echo, Alarm system etc. Had to get on phone with local carrier....thank goodness I had been watching while the "jinigram tech" was "fixing" my Mac...so I could tell my local tech that 'jinigram' put my network into "bridgemode" She knew exactly what the it did and fixed everything, including the printer. No thanks to Hp or jinigram. I cannot believe that I fell for this. When I took my Mac to ***, they told me I had been scammed. If you read this..please believe me...DO NOT ENGAGE or GIVE A CC # to these people. Oh, and don't purchase any HP products because you won't get any help there.

I had a problem with my laptop. It stated that I had to upgrade from Windows 7?? to Windows 10 or my computer would not work any longer. I called the # that was listed and they )GINGRAM) said that they represented Windows. I told them that I pay for protection and service through AOL and asked them if AOL could fix it. They lied to me and said no and that I had to go through them for Windows because they worked for Windows. After I agreed I tried to contact AOL BUT COULDN'T GET THROUGH TO AOL. Jinigram was holding me up from contacting anyone for find out differently. When I got through to AOL they took over and fixed my Laptop. I called Ginygram to cancel and refund money and they will not. I was charged $249.99 . They out and out lied to me..

This is with regards to the complaint on Revdex.com dated 04/08/2018 for a transaction dated 02/16/2018. The customer had an issue with his Windows 10 computer where he was not able to update the Windows. The customer also wanted to upgrade another computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Our technician looked into the issue and found major security concern on his computer. Later, technician informed the customer about Smart Home Premium plan where he was offered one-year technical support on his Windows 10 computer along with the QuikAV security software. Technician also educated the customer about Windows 10 operating system disc in order to upgrade another computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Thus, the customer purchased technical support along with the security at a price of $249.99.

Later, the case was transferred to the technician who optimized the computer and fixed the issue regarding Windows 10 updates moreover he activated QuikAV security on his computer. Later, the customer contacted AOL to get their services and called us for a refund. We work tirelessly towards ensuring that we meet and exceed customer’s expectations in a fair and responsible way. After discussion, we offered a refund of $249.99 on 02/27/2018, we also sent an email to the customer however we did not receive any response from customer’s end. The customer already filed a dispute with his bank.

It was a shock to us when we found that Alfred *** had raised a complaint at Revdex.com on 04/08/2018 for a refund of $249.99 without even considering the fact that our technician tried his best to resolve the issues. The customer made a false allegation to affect the goodwill of the company with an intends to get his refund.

As per our complete disclosure rules, we informed the customer that we are a third-party service provider along with the company’s name. We clearly mentioned this in every email and invoice which was sent to the customer during the period of transaction.

Resolution:

At Jinigram we believe in transparency in business and give high regard to customer’s satisfaction. Throughout the conversation, we did not lie to the customer. We did not misrepresent our self as Windows as stated by the customer. Supervisor also cleared the customer about the organization while taking the payment authorization. Technician also tried to contact the customer however we did not receive any response from customer’s end.

THANK YOU JINIGRAM

I googled HP Support and called the number that showed up. I was connected to a man who said his name was Jack ***. I told him that I was having an issue with my printer. He convinced me that it was an issue with my computer. I allowed him to remotely control my computer. He showed me that my computer was infected with a virus that would allow hackers to access my bank account information. He convinced me that the antivirus software I had installed (which was provided by best buy) was not "good enough". He told me that I would need to pay $247 to clean the virus off and to install the "better" antivirus software. After agreeing to this, I googled the company and found a great deal of evidence that they are running a scam. Here is the evidence:

Customer Response • Mar 24, 2018

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The company will refund my money and I appreciate that. My problem with this company is that I called about a problem with my printer. I was unaware that I was talking to a 3rd party company, but was under the belief that I was talking with a technician at HP Support. I asked if I had called the HP Support number and the person told me that I had. He did not say "We offer support for HP products." He indicated yes they are HP support. After calling, they told me there was a problem with the drivers on my computer that were connecting to the printer, that I needed to have my computer cleaned and tuned up and than my antivirus software that was supplied by Best Buy was no good. They told me they found an "infection" on my computer that would allow hackers to access my bank account information. This scared me, so I agreed to the 247 charge for the $95 antivirus software, plus the technician fee. I should have listened to my instincts that were telling me that this was not right. I have since consulted several people and HP support and have been advised that I should not have been required to pay an exorbitant amount. They were not able to fix the original problem that I called about. The printer was still giving me the error code that stated that my ink cartridge needed to be reinstalled and replaced. When I returned the call after making this complaint, the technician kept repeatedly telling me that the issue was successfully resolved. He also told me that the antivirus software I told him was installed on my computer was no good because I had a mac computer. I told him that was incorrect because my computer is an HP as well. He then told me that my antivirus software was about to expire and that is why he had sold me the $95 software. I told him that was also false as I had just renewed my antivirus software. Then he went back to telling me that the software was not good.

I ended up calling the true HP support number and getting my issue resolved without them having to remotely control my computer. It had nothing to do with the drivers or my computer.

My problem with this company and the reason I feel I was "duped" out of money is that 1) I believed I was talking with HP support. 2) I did not have a problem with my computer..yet they "found" issues and charged me a fee, and 3) They keep saying they resolved my issue and they did not, and 4) they are in the business of selling a product that they led me to believe I needed.

Hindsight is 50/50 and I acknowledge that I should have hung up with then once they told me there would be a $247 charge. That is about what my computer cost. I hope that other consumers will be more proactive than I was when dealing with this company.

Sincerely, Christy Miles

I went online to ge a Hewlett Package service number and on a "hewlett packard' looking screen they had their number inserted. The sold me over $700 in service and equiptment. Feeling uneasy I called the usual HP number I call and they never heard of them. I called back the company to get a refund and was given a run arouns and the supervisor started to get nasty. I finally (scraming) are you giving me the refund or no. He said yes and I hung up the phone. I immediately called the back (the purchases were already on my card) and cancelled the card just to be safe. I got a message from Jinigram telling me my charges were cancelled but I did not trust them. BUYER BEWARE....THIS IS NOT HEWLETT PACKARD!

Company is untrustworthy, if you question them they hang up, scam and fraud artist.

These guys ae the BEST!!! My printer is working fine thanks to ***!!!

All the technical support technicians were great. They were honest and extremely helpful. They called back after being disconnected over the phone and asked to be reconnected to my computer when my connection to them was cut off due to slow internet at home. They told me where to go for faster internet service and were patient with me. Thank all of you at JINIGRAM!

Jinigram has been very helpful to change my password again.

Jinigram, Jinify Your Digital Home! Response • Jan 29, 2018

We appreciate your feedback.

This company misrepresented themselves right from the start although I didn't know it until later. It was a high pressure sales pitch with several options to "fix" the problem starting as much as $249.99 down to $95 which it was reduced to just because I was a senior and would have trouble paying the higher amount. That deal was only on the table during the time of the call, however, so I could not have time to think about it and call them back. That should have been my first clue that it is not a reputable company. And when I did finally agree to the $95 security system they sent me a contract that is definitely not a legal contract on many levels. I somehow doubt if I ever have a need to call them during the alleged one year warranty that they would even address the problem as there are so many "outs" in their contract. I never intend to do business again.

I want to share that my experience was fast and professional.

The agent performed very well and is a good representative of the company.

Tech. was very helpful. Thank you very much.
