John Elway's Crown Toyota Reviews (46)

Our records indicate the customer authorized inspection and tear down of vehicle and was quoted $1000.00. See attached copy of repair order. It was determined that was soda was spilled on top of dash which caused major damage , cost to repair is $4800.00.   [redacted] Service Manager and [redacted]...

[redacted] service advisor had multiple conversations with Ms. [redacted] and her boyfriend regarding inspection of vehicle .       Thank you, [redacted] HR/Customer Relations Director John Elway’s Crown Toyota

I am rejecting this response because when we went to Crown John Elway Crown Toyota we requested that they run a credit score one time and we made that clear to [redacted] before he ran the credit because we were in the process of buying a house  and we know the importance of required  he assured us that he understood this and that it was only beer and once  through Toyota services and they ended up running our credit more than six times through other companies like Capital One Auto, Arrowhead Credit Union. Ect. We agreed to them running our credit score one time with the verbal agreement of [redacted] stating that it would only be through Toyota Financial. [redacted] also told us he was taking it off of my credit score and two of them had already been removed which it has not been so this is not only lying to the customer and bad customer service it shows they are not for the customer there are for profit I want the other 5 inquiries removed off of your credit report they did not have our consent.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/24) */
Mr.[redacted] has been contacted on 11-24-15 by [redacted] in the Customer Relations Dept. and also by [redacted] Assistant Service Mgr. Crown Toyota apologized to Mr.[redacted] for only having 3 of the 4 campaign parts in dealer stock , these...

parts are on a very limited daily supply. Mr. [redacted] stated he was promised at time of appointment that all parts were available. Crown Toyota offered to further assist customer and obtain the part from another Toyota dealer and complete the part installation on 11-24-15 but customer declined due to inconvenience.
Customer has been advised he is able to visit any Toyota dealer to request the part to be ordered.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Ms [redacted] agreed to reimburse me for my travel expenses when I contacted the dealership and failed to do so. Feel free to change the wording "stated he was promised at time of appointment that all parts were available", to "customer was told parts were available at appoitment". I spoke with the lady today 11/25/15 that scheduled the appointment.

We all tried to address Mr. [redacted] concerns including TFS.   At this point due to his intense tone we would like to request he speak with our general counsel.
Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: The waiver that Toyota had me sign does not cover vehicle damage due to dealership negligence, therefore they are liable for the paint damage. I attached the waiver that was provided to me by Toyota Management at John Elway's Crown Toyota. Customer relations highlighted the following section: Section 1. “Customer is hereby notified that the said property
is not insured or protected to the amount of the actual cash value thereof, or
otherwise, against loss occasioned by theft, fire or vandalism while the
property remains with the dealer.” The paint damage to my vehicle was clearly caused due to negligence and could have been avoided if Toyota stored my vehicle in a covered parking garage or if they simply placed a car cover on it. The service adviser at Toyota did not allow me to store my vehicle in my own garage while driving a courtesy rental. Therefore I did not have a choice if I wanted to stop driving a vehicle that had a safety recall at the time.  The paint damage could have also been avoided if the dealership did not attempt to wash my car at the time of pick up with all the dirt and sand that was covering my vehicle after 11 months. The recall was not something that I could control but Toyota could have avoided the damage to the paint on my vehicle. I ask that Toyota takes responsibility and does the right thing by fixing the paint damage that was caused due to their negligence.  Edgar [redacted]

Crown Toyota received this compliant on 12-12-17 and is reviewing the case file  with the Used Car Director. Thank you.
