First we would like to apologize for any inconvenienceOf course we did not intend this to happen. We, like all the other moving companies have the same Insurance policy for any Damages done during the move, and we would like you to start the process if there is any lost and
damages.Regarding the cubic feet issue, we except any challenges on the day of the move when our foremen and crew are presentOr with witnessesIn our paper work indicates that the customer did know about the cubic feet, the price, list of items added....etc., with the acknowledge of these changes, our customer wishes to continue with the move and told our foremen to continue with the move after agreeing and signing the contractYes, we did offered to not go ahead with the move if the customer did not agreeAfter all this is a service we provide only if the price is excepted by our clientsWe respect all our clients, and we respect *** *** as an EngineerSo, We would like to ask this questionWhy didn't you measure the list of items when the foremen was there on the day of, or before you call in for an estimateInstead you chose to challenge us after the moveAnd why did you *** *** agreed on the price , and signed the paper work. How can we know you measure all the items you took, and not measure half of your move only.thank you for the opportunity to respond.Sincerely,Out of State Movers

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I told Carlos, the Out of State representative that I was moving to a rural area. In fact this area is surrounded by trailer homes (many are double wide homes) and modular homes. QUESTION: How do you think those homes are delivered? ANSWER: The are delivered by huge tractor trailers. Many bigger than the trailer the Out of State mover was driving. Therefore, there was no valid reason for my belongings not to be delivered to my front door, my furniture unwrapped, my bedroom and dining room set up. It is not my fault if the driver of the tractor trailer that Out of State Movers commissioned was scared and unqualified to deliver the load. In fact my husband used to drive a foot tractor trailer up and down this property all the time when he was a long haul trucker. I had to scramble and hire a local man's truck and crew to take my belongings up to my front door (at least feet), unwrap my furniture and unload and set up my bedroom and dining room set at a cost $500. The Out of State driver and his man did nothing except wait for the cash and return of their blankets. We called Out of State several times and they finally agreed to give us a $credit. This still doesn't make up for the cost, inconvenience and aggravation we experienced. It is not up to the customer to make arrangements for an unqualified worker and amounts to a Breach of Contract on their part. I understand that Out of State loaded and drove my belongings from NYC to SC and being a fair person am asking for 25% return of the contract price plus return of the tip which amounts to $2,047.50 because they didn't finish the job. I would settle for $2,000.I understand that Out of State delivered my belongings on a long haul from Queens, NY to McBee, SC and I, being a fair person, am willing to pay for their services. But their driver's inability to do his job resulted in my humble opinion a Breach of Contract. Therefore, I am requesting a 25% return of the contract price plus the tip. That comes to $1,plus $585 for a total of $2,047.50. I would settle for an even $2,000.00.

*** *** Knows very well that the price per cubic feet will not changeSo the customer has the only control over the price, and the Items that he or she want us to move.*** *** did sign the binding price, and agreed. The trailer driver's job is to drive from point A -
point B to the delivery destinationHis job is to delivery multiple jobs on his routeHe has no information about the actual cubic feet that is taken on each job in his truck

We are deeply sorry for any inconvenienceYes we gave *** *** and estimate by phoneBy law the foreman must perform a walk through before any JobOf course the price will change if more space is neededThe price per cubic feet stayed the same*** *** knew, and agreed on the day of
the move with the new binding price just like the information about Trailer access*** *** signed and agreed with the contract before we even started the JobYes, *** did ask to have the delivery on the weekend like that his Son wouldn't have to take off from his studyWe supported that decision but, we did not promise any delivery dateWe did tried our best to make it possible for *** *** like any of our customersDue to weather conditions; traffic delays; accidents, etc... *** *** did not mention that weekend he wanted the delivery make was the weekend HURRICANE ERIKA visited FloridaThe trailer was on time, and arrived to Georgia on Saturday like we expected but, because of the warnings of high wind, flood, from hurricane Erika the Trailers did not want to take any chances to proceed their route down to FloridaThe drivers did not want to bring potential damages to the trailer, or damage the goods inside the trailer, or risking being stuck on a flooded high wayThis information was given to *** *** few days before for him and his son to be prepare and plan. How ever, we did deliver to *** ***'s Son not on the weekend but, the next day (Monday)We also managed to deliver on the time that *** *** wanted which isafter 6pmRegarding the Interstate Moves, YES we have license to do interstate movesHow ever, when the season get too busy we do rely on our affiliated company to fulfill all our customer's demands, such as *** ***'s.Under these unforeseen circumstances of the weather patterns, we again apologize for your unfortunate experience.?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: This is a complete LIE by the business I was quoted a price of $1,BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF ITEMS I WAS MOVING. I specifically told them the items I had to move (queen size bed, desk, small tables and a few boxes). It was a small move. I actually CALLED the company about 3x over the next weeks to CONFIRM the price and they confirmed to me that it would be $1,There was NO MENTION over the phone about the price being based on the amount of cubic feet my items would take up. This is representation. In addition, they did NOT secure my mattress as advertised in their email (and verbally) to me, by a *** *** who works for the company. I was specifically told my mattress would be sealed with protective plastic so as not to get dirty. The mattress was NEVER wrapped in plastic; they "loosely" put one of those moving blankets on it which only covered half of the mattressWhen I received the mattress it was 100% NOT protected and has a small hole on the bottom now. This is unacceptable. Last, as stated in my formal complaint, I was quoted (by *** ***) that I would be able to pay by Credit Card. When the mover (Carlos) arrived to my apt, I was told I had to pay either Cash or Check and had to pay at least 1/up frontTheir email (attached) stated no deposits required on day of move. I am attaching parts of an email I received from James discussing the $price and "no hidden fees". Thank you,*** ***###-###-#### Based on VERBAL MISREPRESENTATION AND INAPPROPRIATELY MOVING MY MATTRESS WITHOUT THE PROPER PROTECTION I AM ASKING FOR THE ADDITIONAL $BACK THAT I HAD A COUGH UP WHEN I MOVED

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Out of State Movers did not resolved any of my complains.Only in the answer letter to Revdex.com they included the Claim Management contact information, they promised this in November ** e-mailThis also shows how irresponsible they are and provided this data only after Revdex.com requested .It is correct, that we packed all of our boxesHowever, the teak wood furniture was packed and wrapped with their protective blankets and still arrived brokenIt is my main complain, that the workers at this company had broke all possible boxes and furniture and they are not careful responsible peopleHeavy metal boxes should had arrived intact and carefully wrapped glasses and dishes should had arrived in one pieceWe used other movers after this experience and never had any damage. I am hoping, that people, who review Revdex.com sites will see, that this company shall be avoided. The insurance issue is wrongWe moved additional items with others and got replacement cost insurance from an independent insurance company, arranged by the moving companyThis was not an option for us hereThese people are trying to trick you into truck measurements, last minute cost changes and if correct them, than break all your staff and offer the $/# insuranceI hope they go out of business soon.Thank you for your help, hopefully you post my comments.*** ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
OSM DID IN FACT PACK & RE-PACK MANY OF MY BAGS, CARTONS, STORAGE BINS IN OSM-BOXES BROUGHT BY FOREMAN NAMED CARLOS: he insisted everything needed to be boxes & taped -which her proceeded to do in front of me at my CubeSmart storage unit (*** *** **)I stood watching him do this for two hours. Additionally, OSM DID IN FACT STORE my entire shipment in their facilities and levied a substantial additional charge for storing my items which both manager Daniel and Business Office deal-maker (Michael L***)noted was INSUREDMy entire shipment was stored BY OSM SOMEWHERE (I suspect in NJ -which is where Daniel who manages drivers & load deliveries & shipment storage said he was locatedHowever my shipment might have been stored in Brooklyn because that's where the white truck with Indiana plates originated -according to the driver listed in my detailed letter of august */***.) I am not surprised by the INACCURATE RESPONSE from OSM TO Revdex.com (since a long series of contradictory and statements/assertions/requirements/previously UNDISCLOSED fees and policies CHARACTERIZES THIS NETWORK known as Out of State Movers (OSM). packed & repacked my items in OSM boxes then loaded their boxes and my packed items on OSM's truckstored my shipment from 6/** through 6/** in SOME UNDISCLOSED LOCATION which they insisted was "safe and insured." Thus, I want reimbursement for my undelivered items (detailed/tallied in my letter) through the INSURANCE CLAIM OSM insisted upon as "safe & insured." Clearly, my shipment was NOT SAFE wherever they stored it

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Here is my Response to their reply:My initial contact to Noa was on 8/**/15. We spoke at length about my upcoming small move and the need to have the belongings delivered to Florida no later than 8/**/15. After discussing costs, we agreed to have a truck come to the house on Thursday, 8/**/15. I explained to Noa the importance and imperativeness of the agreed delivery and I was assured it would not be a problem. My son was already in his apartment a week without any furnishings and a bed and just enough clothes for a day or so. He is also attending graduate school there and would be unable to take off from classes and his studies to receive his belongings after Sunday 8/30/15. All this was explained to Noa and she ASSURED me this would not be a problem. I get a call back from Noa and was informed that the truck she promised me for the Thursday pick up was not available and told me she had a truck that could come by Saturday. Again, I told her the importance of the following Friday or Saturday delivery and again she ASSURED me it would not be a problem. The truck came on Saturday. The "foreman's" name is Carlos. Carlos gave me every indication that he would be the one driving to Florida in the truck they drove to my house. He also told me that they would be leaving the New York area on Wednesday morning. Not so. He lied to me. He knew very well that they were only acting as a "middle man" and had no intention of delivering my things to Florida. In fact, he knew very well that the truck and different company that eventually did deliver my things would not be leaving New York until Friday. He even knew that the truck that would be making the delivery would be too big to make it through residential streets and also knew it would cost more money. Carlos knew the importance of making good on their promises to deliver on time. But he and his company will do and say anything to get your things packed up because once they are on the truck you are at their mercy. "All the information was not keep from *** ***". In fact, yes it was. All information was not divulged to me. Had I known ahead of time that that they would not be leaving NY until Friday, I would have gone with a different company. I was lied to."*** *** preferred to have the delivery on weekends so his son wouldn't have to take a day offAs always, we explained this to *** *** that we can only do the best we can to accommodate but, we did not promise him any delivery date." Originally we agreed upon Friday, 8/**/15, as our delivery date. I was promised that they would do everything possible to get the things there by that date. More lies."Besides *** *** signed and agreed by law we can take up to business days for deliveryHow ever, we did delivered to *** ***'s Son on Monday instead of Saturday or Sunday due to HURRICANE ERIKA down in Florida." Fact. I personally never signed anything! Fact. The national weather service categorized Erica as a Class one hurricane when it was still out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean several days before it was to make landfall. By the time it reached land it was downgraded several time to a Tropical wave.....less than a tropical depression. It was nothing more than a storm with mild wind and rain. A far cry from a hurricane. Besides, had the truck left when we were told it was going to leave on Wednesday morning, 8/**/15, Erica would have been a moot point as they would have arrived two days prior to her making landfall regardless of what class she was categorized. Again....more lies by this company."*** ***'s calls was not made with in hours of operation; calls to our office worker's personal phone; *** *** hung up, and refuse to work with the only person who can give him direct information from A to Z". Fact. Both Noa and Carlos gave me their mobile numbers and told me to call them if I had problems. Noa even told me I could text her. When I was informed by my son that the driver of the truck (not Carlos and not Out of State Movers) could not make delivery by the promised time, Friday, Saturday or even Sunday, I called Noa. She did not answer. When problems arose the following day on Monday, when the truck was finally in Florida but couldn't make it into the complex because it was way to big for residential streets, I again text and called Noa with no response. I then made phone calls to the business directly on Tuesday and Wednesday leaving messages and wanting to speak with Noa, but she never returned any of my calls. The person who eventually called me back was uninformed and a business puppet. I asked specifically to talk to Noa since she was the person with whom I dealt with the most but I was blown off.I want a total of $in restitution. $for reimbursement of the extra money spent to have the belonging hand delivered to my sons apartment because the truck was too big. Another $for the tip which I was coerced to give Carlos and his gang of thieves. They should GET NOTHING! And lastly, another $for my aggravation and having my son take time away from his studies on Monday to take delivery of his items. I think $is a fair and reasonable amount for restitution. Right now they are lucky I feel this way as I may pursue legal and punitive damages in small claims court. Thank you for this opportunity to explain my side of the story.*** ***
