I read the companies response to my complaint, I am very dissatisfied by their responseThey are not being truthful, in-fact they are lyingThey contacted my ex-husband AFTER, I strictly told them not to and explained to them they are breaking the law by doing so, That's when I was told they use the same resources as the FBINot only did they contacted my ex-husband again, but also an old high school friend, and I have recently found out they also called my niece! They stated in their response that they were 'trying to locate me', according to the law they may call once/or one person to to a location search, if the person is unreachable, I was reachable! They had my physical address, email address, my phone number AND my debit card/bank account information! They claim they contacted my employer?? What employer may that be?? They did not call my existing employer! They use these tactics and lies to harass and scare people. I have yet to receive a new statement with my payments reflected?? Yet, I'm sure they have c charged me an obscene about of interest! I want them to credit my account or w/o the balance owedThey can not continue to abuse peoples rights!Sincerely,** ***

I do want them to stop attempting to collect on this and stop contacting me And to refund the $already deducted

I do thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. As I conducted the full research for this account in question, I have discovered that upon speaking to the customer, the family members were contacted to gain location information and the numbers have since been removed. We have no

comply with any consumer requestI have found on this account, your husband was called in an attempt to reach out to you after we called line ending with no responseBoth phone calls were on the 9th of April, and both were only called onceIt seems on the 24th of April you did call back in, and we advised you of the attempt to collect a debt and then reached out to you just once more after the call was disconnectedWe have not found any of these phone calls were in violation of FDCPA guidelines or any other applicable statutesI'm sorry if you felt we were out of bounds, that is never our intention and customer care is our number one priorityYour account has since been placed in a "Cease and Desist" status, and you will not longer receive any phone calls from our company regarding this matterWe wish you the best of luck in the futurePlease reach out if you should have any other concerns

The company's response is a carbon copy of the response they are giving to all of their complaintsThe "manager" of complaints only addressed the issues he wantedDeleting the phone numbers to "account" and sending letter of request is not the solution I was seekingHe did not thoroughly review complaints addressing how they continue to break the law and have repeatedly harassed consumersWhat kind of business or person can go home feeling good about their day after hurting others this wayIf I will be seeking further legal representation until they stop harassing me this wayI am further requesting they Cease and Desist all means of communication with me and my familyI have documentation and records of all the harassing phone calls including the times and papers sent to meI continue to make a stand against this company being fraudulent and the Attorney General in California will be notified as wellThey did not even attempt to apologize for their wrongdoingIt's very disturbing to know a business like this can even existThis is not a legal debt collection agency by no meansCalifornia laws are very different from New York lawsThe FTC has also been notified on my behalf. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.? I have not received an offer from JPL Recovery, nor ? have they contacted me in any way to resolve this matter? I am shocked and appalled that they continue to lie and deny their illegal actions against me? Not to mention it’s taken them months to respond to my complaint, I have provided ? proof of their illegal actions? In their response they claim I gave them my ex-husband name as a reference! That is an out right lieThey never asked me for his informationAnd ? I would never give them his contact information? They contatted him more than once which is illegal and goes against my privacy rights? This has caused me extreme distress and anxiety? They need to be held accountable for their actions? I am not the only person they have tried to bully and embarrass? They are not abouce the law? ? I’ve waited months for a response.....and they respond with another complete lie
