January 19, 2018To Whom It May Concern,I am in receipt of your complaint submitted regarding allegations against our company. Please understand that our office takes these matters very seriously and we have researched extensively to ensure a complete response. Our strict policy is to research these matters fully and comply with any consumer request. According to account notes,we were attempting to reach Ms. [redacted] regarding an outstanding debt with Loan Me.  There were messages left on voicemails.  Ms. [redacted] contacted our office on 10/13/2017 and set up a settlement arrangement.  We made attempts to reach Ms. [redacted] when her payment declined, but could not get ahold of her and her place of employment stated she was no longer employed with them.  We spoke to Ms. [redacted] on 11/20/2017 and she stated she was concerned about other people receiving messages, at which point we removed all numbers from the account that she requested to be removed.  We did not contact any number other than Ms. [redacted]’s cell phone number since 11/20/2017, when she requested to have them removed.Employees were instructed that they will be terminated if they are found to be violating the FDCPA or any other applicable statues. Again, our office takes these matters with the highest regard for any consumer complaint. Dear Ms. [redacted], I did have a chance to listen to the phone call as well as look over your account. We did not find that anyone was in violation of FDCPA guidelines or any other applicable statutes. I have made a note on the account to cease and desist all phone calls to any other family members...

This account has since been placed in a 'cease and desist' status and the debtor will no longer receive any further contact from our company. In the wake of this complaint, we held an office meeting with all employees advising of the complaint & that any employee will be terminated if they are found to be violating the FDCPA or any other applicable statutes. In this instance, the account is now closed and will not be resold, and all communications on the account will cease and desist immediately. We can neither confirm nor deny these allegations but assure you we will be delving deeper and holding an office training to make sure these types of things don’t happen. After researching this complaint, we held an office meeting. All employees were advised about the complaint and that this type of behavior will not be tolerated. Employees were instructed that they will be terminated if they are found to be violating the FDCPA or any other applicable statutes. I have immediately removed your number from this account upon receival of this complaint. Your number has been erased and there will no longer be any phone calls made to you pertaining this matter. We are sorry for any strain this may have caused you and want to apologize for any inconvenience.

On November 25, 2017,  I informed JPL Recovery Solutions LLC,  in writing and sent via email,  that I was not authorizing an auto withdrawal from my debit card account in the amount of $300.00 which they set up to take place do on Dec. 1, 2017. I never signed paperwork allowing this...

withdrawal, in-fact when they sent me  documentation to sign, I informed them I did not and could not afford to make a $300.00 payment on Dec 1, but would make a payment the following paycheck.   On Dec. 3,  eight days after I informed them not to wothdrawl any money’s from my account, they put through the wothdrawl of $300.00 despite my email stopping this transaction.    In doing this they overdrew my account causing my car payment to be declined and my account to be in default, I also accrued Non sufficient fund fees, Which I will be charged for from my bank and capital one auto finance.  I have called JPL 5 times in the last 24 hours and left 5 messages for the representative, Nicole who handles my account and she has yet to return my calls.    This company has caused me stress, money and embarrassment, they prey on people who in time of need or desperation,  need money. What was once a $2500.00 loan has now increased to $4,500.00!!! This to me is criminal.  I Have educated myself on the laws of my state so I know, what they have done to me and  many other people  is unethical, but more importantly illegal. JPL Needs to be held accountable for their illegal conduct and bully tactics. Sincerely,[redacted]

comply with any consumer request. I have found on this account, your husband was called in an attempt to reach out to you after we called line ending 7481 with no response. Both phone calls were on the 9th of April, and both were only called once. It seems on the 24th of April you did call back in, and we advised you of the attempt to collect a debt and then reached out to you just once more after the call was disconnected. We have not found any of these phone calls were in violation of FDCPA guidelines or any other applicable statutes. I'm sorry if you felt we were out of bounds, that is never our intention and customer care is our number one priority. Your account has since been placed in a "Cease and Desist" status, and you will not longer receive any phone calls from our company regarding this matter. We wish you the best of luck in the future. I read the companies response to my complaint, I am very dissatisfied by their response. They are not being truthful, in-fact they are lying. They contacted my ex-husband AFTER, I strictly told them not to and explained to them they are breaking the law by doing so, That's when I was told they use the same resources as the FBI. Not only did they contacted my ex-husband again, but also an old high school friend, and I have recently found out they also called my niece! They stated in their response that they were 'trying to locate me', according to the law they may call once/or one person to to a location search, if the person is unreachable, I was reachable! They had my physical address,  email address, my phone number AND my debit card/bank account information! They claim they contacted my employer?? What employer may that be?? They did not call my existing employer! They use these tactics and lies to harass and scare people. I have yet to receive a new statement with my payments reflected?? Yet, I'm sure they have c charged me an obscene about of interest! I want them to credit my account or w/o the balance owed. They can not continue to abuse peoples rights!Sincerely,[redacted]
