While staying with family in *** to flee the flooding of our community in ***, I purchased a Certified Pre-owned *** *** from them in August I bought the vehicle to replace my truck which had been totaled by the flooding of our home the week priorI chose to make this purchase there rather than once we returned home to *** because I thought it would be difficult to find vehicles for sale given the extensive damage from the flood to some of the dealerships in our areaThey convinced me to spend the extra $or so to purchase the extended “bumper to bumper” warrantyI’ve only owned the vehicle for months, and I've had to bring it in for service at my local *** dealership in *** *** four times for a check engine light related to the circuitry for the shifterWhen I brought it in for service this last time they discovered that at some point prior to me purchasing the vehicle the windshield had been removed and not been reinstalled properlyTh
Last August I received an E-Mail advising me that there was a recall for the dash board on my Toyota Runner Vin: ***R***Since then I was contacted that the dash board was in only to find out later that it was not and cancelled the appt
The crack in the dash board goes from the drivers side across the entire dash to the passengers sideAlthough I have made a complaint to Toyota's National Headquarters Case *** and Incident #*** at Arlington Toyota, I still do not have any resolve to this recallI cannot sell my vehicle because the cracked dash reduces the sale valueI feel this is a deliberate attempt by Toyota to put it on a low priority because of the year of my Runner
My Service Advisor Mr*** *** at Arlington Toyota has been very helpful trying to resolve this issueHe even ordered the part on directly on 02/08/to no avail
Two weeks ago I bought a van from Arlington Toyota, or so I thoughtI signe what appeared to be legitimate paperwork with the low interest rate we agreed to as well as the break down in terms and payment dateI drove it home that nightNearly two weeks later I was informed that they had yet to secure financing for me and all the while I thought it was doneWhen I drove the car back to return it they offered me an older van at four times the original agreed upon interest rateIt actually went from to 13%They apparently thought they had me in a position where I had no choiceI say this because the car I traded in the original agreement had actually already been detailed, tuned up, oil change, New tires put on, and even new breaks All of this before they were sure I had financingMy old van even had a Toyota certified used sticker on it and their emblem on the backI couldn't believe itNeedless to say I refused to take the new deal and I drove my old van home, new brakes
