Having reviewed the call, it is obvious that the account representative Alex did not raise her voice at all during this conversation Alex contacted the client to obtain the details of an unreported payment and revised the account properly, including adjusting the interest to the correct amount This information was explained to the consumer in this phone call At no time during the call did our representative scream or tell the consumer to contact legal representation

This is the response to Revdex.com complaint ID [redacted] On 12-29-a settlement arrangement was made for [redacted] to pay $to be released from the file only or a grand total of $to be paid to settle the account in full and release both [redacted] and [redacted] from the account and both people would pay half the settlement of $ [redacted] only paid his portion of $on 1-30-to be released from the file [redacted] never paid her half of the settlement, therefore she still owes The notes are very clear that the $paid only by [redacted] was to release him only from the account and the remaining balance would be left for [redacted] to pay on her own Ms [redacted] admitted she has a copy of the paid letter we sent to [redacted] and it specifically only has [redacted] name on it because only he has been released and only he paid Her name is not on the letter because she never paid her portion and still owes Thank you, Crystal S [redacted] President / Genesis Credit Management

There was a check dated 7/1/with payment in full for rent July and August – but this amount does not include utility charges for June, July and August Writing final payment (rent) does not clearly represent your notice to vacate at the end of the lease term, 8/31/an agreement that automatically reverts to a month to month tenancy in the absence of a written notice to end leaseNo response was provided to the original creditors letter dated 7/9/regarding the lease ending 8/31/and decision to renew lease, revert to month to month lease, or terminate lease with day written notice to vacate prior to the end of the monthly termThe original creditor has credited the account for all rent/utilities charged after 9/30/ The security deposit has been applied to balance due on account and they have allowed Mr [redacted] to keep the Move in Special Concession credit on the account at move in The balance has been revised and verified with the original creditor that it is still owing

This complaint was filed against Columbia Recovery Group, a company that operated under different ownership and is no longer in business We have no response to provide concerning the operational procedures of said company or its ownership

This complaint was filed against Columbia Recovery Group, which operated under different ownership and has since been closed to the best of our knowledge We are unable to provide further information regarding the procedures and methods used by that company or ownership

We received a dispute letter from [redacted] on 2-3-and mailed proof to her last known address as requested We have also contacted our client for additional documentation to support this debt and since we have not gotten a response we went ahead and removed the account from Ms [redacted] 's credit report

We are a third-party collection agency acting on behalf of our client We requested immediate payment, as the account was already past due Upon receiving notice from the client that the amount due had been adjusted we revised the balance owing immediately This revised statement was forwarded to the consumer in a timely matter The collector stayed calm and reasonable throughout the phone call despite continuous shouting by the consumer As the consumer has subsequently provided full payment of the revised balance, we feel that this matter has been resolved satisfactorily

We agree with this consumer We have done everything we can do from out end to has this expunged The consumer may wish to dispute this with the credit reporting agency

This account is listed for $2, We have authorization from the original creditor to settle any collection account at 60% That means, that 60% of $2,is $1, That $1,is the lowest amount we could take as a settlement on this account so there is no way we would have settled for only $ The notes on the account are very clear that on 12-30-we offered [redacted] mother [redacted] to pay $1,(60% settlement) to settle the entire account for both people or only pay $to just release *** There is always a way to split payments and we release people all the time when there are multiple parties involved The reason the original creditor said Genesis never made them aware of a settlement is because the account is not settled; [redacted] was released for $and [redacted] still owes the remainder of the balance

This complaint was filed against Columbia Recovery Group, which is no longer in existence. We are unaware of the procedures of that company under ownership that existed at that time

To whom it may concern,
This is the response to the Revdex.com complaint ID *** from a *** ***. Mr*** claims he was told as long as he makes a payment at some point in the calendar month he would be in good standing. That is incorrect. Our company policy is to set
up specific payments dates. He got paid by direct deposit from his employer and set up specific dates for his payments to be ran after the deposited funds had cleared his accountThere was a payment scheduled for June 12th which declined. Mr*** complained that we only call him at work and never on his cell phone. Our records indicate we attempted to call him on his cell phone 6-after the payment declined and then again on 6-17, 6-18, 6-and 6-23. After no response from messages left on his cell phone he was reached at his place of employment on 6-23. He told the representative he was still just waiting for his direct deposit to come through so we tried getting ahold of him again on 6-to see if the problem was resolved so a payment could be made for the month of June to keep his payment arrangement. Again, no luck getting ahold of him on his cell and he never called into our office again until 6-on a Saturday when our office is closed to let us know he got a new account which messed up his direct deposit. He did call in again on 7-1-but no payment was made at that point. We attempted to call him again 7-to see if a payment could be made for the month of July and we tried calling again on 8-to see if there could be a payment made for August. One of our representatives did speak with Mr*** on 8-and he said he would have to call back and never did. As of this date, 8-10-15, there still has been no payment made for June, July or August and we have made multiple attempts to reach Mr*** on his cell phone and at work to get this resolved. We are not harassing him and have verified employment to take legal action since no payments have been made for months now.

This is in response to complaint ID *** I personally listened to the recorded conversations that took place on this account and a breakdown of the charges was provided per request and there was a payment made to settle the account This account has been settled in full for $on
12-11-and was never reported to any credit bureaus

Having reviewed this account, I do not see any verification of the complaints brought by the consumer The lease termination was due to unpaid rent, and eviction would have been continued if renters had not vacated voluntarily. Having reviewed the phone calls, Alex was polite, not rude
or harassing. No portion of the fees were from unit upgrades. A new renter had taken possession of the unit, and this was reflected in a new invoice which had been provided to the consumer before this complaint was filed. Alex did not threaten to contact employers, except to verify employment. Alex gave the consumer ample time to speak, only interjecting to try to reach a conclusion to settle the debt. There is nothing illegal in our equation to make payment arrangements as inferred by the consumer. Consumers have offered no viable strategy to voluntarily pay the debt at this time
