Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint As per your document of the business's response, the business claims that they have made multiple attempts to contact me without any response from me, this is untrue A voicemail was left on my home answering machine on April 26th, the day after I filed the Revdex.com complaint I did not get the message until 5/as I was away at my remote work station I made several attempts to contact them after receiving the message, specifically on the morning of 5/3, 5/4, and 5/5, leaving messages with the Sr Warranty reps phone on each occasion with my cell number for a call back, and finally with my cell and e-mail address on 5/as a last resort Today, I received a call from the business at my home phone by chance, but the business still has not agreed to honor the Lifetime Warranty for batteries for which I solely purchased their product They have offered replacement batteries but with no future commitment Should the replacement batteries last only a short period, I would be out the price of replacement batteries again As before, the reason for purchasing their product was the quoted ad of "Free Batteries for Life".The warranty rep has offered to check into the possibility of offering the Lifetime Service Agreement, but did not believe he would be able to persuade his superiors of agreeing to this He suggested that I would need to supply information from each side of the original box from the purchase to verify there was no mention of the requirement for registration I do not have the box, but have all the paperwork that came with the tools and I have photos of the important contact information from the box If there had been any indication of registration requirement, I would have seen it and filled it out RIDGID is choosing not to honor their quoted warranty in my opinion Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint This product is dangerous to ANYONE who buys itI am providing PICTURE proof, everytime you press the TRIGGER power button...it expells lineThat is dangerous since it does not getcut off , it goes OVER the safety shieldI was using ALL safety instructionsIF the LINE had not come out as much as it did, I would not have gotten CUT on EITHER weed wackers, ONE drew blood and the OTHER left welts TTI thinks "oh well you should have done this you should have done that" when I mentioned well what your saying IS NOT IN THE MANUAL, I got told well you should do it anywayI do not appreciate the DANGEROUS product TTI seems to feel its OK to have on the shelf and that IM STUCK with since I cant return it.AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE PICTURES...THE LINE IS OUT FARTHER THEN IT SHOULD BE COMPARED TO THE PICTURE ON THE BOXAND THE 4TH PICTURE IS THE WELTS AND SCRAPES I RECEIVED USING THIS WEED WACKER...IT IS DANGEROUS AND DEFECTIVE!!!!!!!!! Also there is no way for them to TEST it because [redacted] told me directly that the weed wacker was destroyed as soon as they got it Regards, [redacted]

Ryobi Products are warranted only when sold through an approved retailerThe customer refused to provide the name of the seller she purchased from on [redacted] , therefore, we cannot consider her item for warranty coverage

After reviewing this customers claim with customer service, reached out to Mr [redacted] directly (via email) to request photos of his grill with focus on the trouble areas Photos will help us better diagnose the potential issue he is having so we can get the grill back to performing normally Once photos are received, we will determine if more parts or a replacement grill is required

We have contacted [redacted] and have agreed on a solution

Issue has been resolved to customer's satisfaction

We emailed the customer the resolution and his response indicated he was very pleased with the action we had takenWe don't understand why this response is not consistent with what he emailed us

I have attempted to contact [redacted] on three occasions by phone since 8/25, supplying my direct phone number in each message I left and my e-mail address on the second and third attempts I have received no answer and no reply thus far

We have contacted the customer and arranged an agreeable solution

I have already made it clear to Ryobi that I bought a brand new-in-package laser level from a third-party seller on [redacted] in late November (receipt attached)The warranty (attached) says nothing about restricting service to purchases from "authorized sellers"But these are not acceptable to Ryobi, a company that simply refuses to honor its warrantySooner or later, Ryobi is going to face legal action for its stubborn refusal to do right by its customers.I am an elderly woman on a fixed income so a $loss means something to meThere are dozens upon dozens of online complaints about Ryobi refusing to honor its warranties; mine is not an isolated caseRevdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted]

Hi [redacted] Its [redacted] ***The rep was very courteous and recognized that their service department did not properly handle the warranty claim, so I think we are definitely on the right track now

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] I would rather wait and see if the battery comes before agreeing to be satisfied with the out come of this I been giving the run around from the call center and retail store on this battery/ tool kit and prior purchases that I returned to the retail store due to the warranties being denied upon registration with this companythey make you qualify for a warranty when a warranty should be a warranty not register it and see if you qualify..if the item has not been registered or warrantied prior than how can it be second hand***
