Again, the client has not responded to our attempt to communicate with himWe have tried reaching out to this customer to assist him with the misunderstanding he has of our proceduresIn his complaint, he is describing a process that is not
accurate of our operations and misrepresents the processWe have tried contacting this client several times but he does not return our calls
Escape Resolutions has helped thousands of very satisfied customers get out of their timeshares, legally once and for allThe above customer needs to communicate with us for us to be able help himWe have procedures in place for clients who change their mind after engaging us to help them get out of their timeshare
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 24, 2016/04/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
As stated in our complaint, we called the salesman on February 11, and did not receive a call back until April 15, It was left on our phone recorder that Escape Resolutions wanted to make sure that we received our money backThey apologized for the problem*** *** removed the charge from our accountEscape Resolutions also expressed regret for using *** *** endorsement in there promotionWe are satisfied with Revdex.com and the outcomeThank you

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2016/06/16) */
The individual, Mr*** ***, signed a cancellation service agreement with Escape Resolutions on April 2nd, The notes in his file stated his partner and co-owner, *** Clay, would sign anything needed to cooperate with getting out of
the timeshareOn April 6th, we received an email from Mr*** stating he was exercising his right of rescission
Escape Resolutions then acknowledged and communicated with Mr*** regarding his rescissionThrough this communication Mr*** requested additional paperworkEscape Resolutions sent the additional paperwork to Mr***'s attention to be reviewed by both Mr*** and his partner, *** Clay, and then be able to move forward with the file; a file that would be handled by a law firmEscape Resolutions was under the impression from Mr*** that everything was good
Please note, all phone calls for Escape Resolutions are on a recorded lineTherefore, all phone conversations between Mr*** and Escape Resolutions are recordedAs previously stated Escape Resolutions did not know of Mr***'s dissatisfactionEscape Resolutions did just what the client asked us to do; send additional paperwork to him to go over with his partnerEscape Resolutions did not receive any information that Mr*** did not want to move forwardEscape Resolutions is unsure whether the email(s) are actually from the client or the partner, *** Clay, who initially was not willing to move forward with our serviceAfter the additional information was sent, Mr*** never communicated to us his intentions with Escape Resolutions, instead Mr*** has filed a complaint
The last attempt to speak with Mr*** was via a phone call made to Mr*** by an Escape Resolutions representative on June 14th, which Mr*** was unwilling to communicate with our Escape Resolutions representativeThis makes it very difficult to resolve the situation when the client will not communicate with Escape ResolutionsEscape Resolutions takes pride and care in alleviating the customer(s) from their timeshare obligations and ensures the client is kept informed and updated through the entire process
A refund could not be issued to the client because the client placed a chargeback on our account without any notification to Escape ResolutionsIn order to remain compliant with the card service regulations Escape Resolutions could not issue a refund to the client until after the chargeback dispute had been settled

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2016/05/26) */
To Whom It May Concern:
At this time I would like to withdraw my complaint against Escape ResolutionsSince filing my complaint they have contacted me and resolved the issuesThank You

Dispute Resolution Dept:As requested, I am submitting supporting documentation for Complaint ID #***.One document is the Escape Resolution (ER) Transfer Service Agreement (contract). The other document is a phone log for all calls made to ER, going back to when the contract was initiated.
I have numerous other documents: e-mails, correspondence, assundry supporting paperwork. But figured that the page phone log would be sufficient to illustrate my ever increasing frustration. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanx in advance for all of your efforts in helping to resolve this complaint.*** & *** ***

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2016/08/29) */
Mr*** has been refunded in fullHowever, Mr*** filed a chargeback with his credit card company against Escape ResolutionsThis chargeback was reversed in favor of Escape Resolutions because it was not a valid chargebackDue to his
credit card dispute the refund process is now tied up and we have turned Mr***'s file over to our law firm
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 16, 2016/08/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We have NOT been refunded by Escape Resolutions or any of its affiliated entitiesNo checks, wire transfers, money orders, credit card refunds or any other form of compensation were ever received from Escape ResolutionsWe suggest Escape Resolutions provide proof of the alleged refund be provided - a cancelled check, confirmation of credit card refund, etcto substantiate its assertion
The "chargeback," to which Mr*** -- owner of Escape Resolutions -- refers, has NOT been reversed in favor of Escape Resolutions as he has allegedWe applied to our credit card company for reliefThere was an initial finding that we had not provided enough documentation to substantiate our claim, and we were given leave to appeal/supply further detailsWe did just thatSubsequently, on July 28th our credit card company debited Escape Resolutions and issued an interim creditThat credit is pending while Escape Resolutions has two billing cycles to respond
Escape Resolutions failed to respond to our requests for a refundThey did not even acknowledge the requestsOnly after numerous attempts did we resort to contacting our credit card carrierOn the occasion when our credit card company contacted and subsequently connected me with Mr***/Escape Resolutions, he had the opportunity to state that a refund had been issuedHe did notRather, he was emphatic in his opposition and he resorted to threatsHad Mr*** agreed to refund us at that time, our credit card company would not have pursued the matter as it has and this complaint would not have been registered
Escape Resolutions asserts they have issued a refund, but it's easy to allege when one does not offer proofA call to our credit card company today confirms that Escape Resolutions did NOT issue a refund through themAgain, we have received no other conveyances of a refundIt's not a complicated matterEven at this juncture, if Escape Resolutions is truly inclined to provide the requested refund, they need merely provide approval to our credit card company to finalize the pending refundThe matter would be settled
Escape Resolutions has made two (2) statements in its brief response hereEscape Resolutions insults us and infers that we are so dishonest as to pursue a double-refundEscape Resolutions continues to invoke the threat of legal involvement (one does not turn a refund issue over to a law firm otherwise)Given these facts, we find their response is not acceptableWe are not averse to reconsidering this opinion once the credit on our card becomes permanent and Escape Resolutions makes clear that any threat of legal proceedings is disingenuous

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/11/01) */
Escape Resolutions spoke with *** regarding her multiple timeshares on 10/03/There is a discrepancy in the information that Escape Resolutions and *** have regarding her timeshare memberships*** has submitted the information she has
regarding her memberships to Escape ResolutionsEscape Resolutions is now waiting on the information they have requested so that a comparison can be made and determine how best to resolve the membership discrepancyAt the end of the phone conversation *** was told that she would receive a phone call from Escape to go over the facts and resolve, if any, remaining issues regarding her timeshare membershipsEscape Resolutions wants nothing more than to complete and close this file for the clientThank you for your time

10/25/@ 12;p.m(Mediator did not contact business as Consumer did not reply to two emails [was unable to leave him any VMs as phone rang and rang and answering machine never kicked in] and consumer had been given deadline to respond by noon today or mediation would close, and did not receive a responseMediator also has had previous experience trying to contact this Business and so far has been unsuccessful finding a working phone number for it or getting a reply to emails)

To Whom it may concern:
When I originally submitted this complaint Escape Resolutions had until June 26, to replyWhy has this date changed?
Please call me or email me so that I know why
Thank you,

***Document Attached***
Here is the other document(***)

About weeks after filing my complaint, Escape Resolutions made contact with me and state they are finalizing my contract with themI had also contacted the state's attorney offices in Missouri and IllinoisHopefully this will all be completed in the next two weeks

10/17/2017 mediator called consumer, but, phone rang and rang and was unable to leave a VM, so sent an email.10/20/2017 no reply from consumer yetMediator called again and phone once again rang and rang without a voice mail kicking inEmailed consumer and gave deadline of 10-25-at noon to reply, else close.10/25/@ 12:p.m. No reply from consumerPer above, closing mediation

The response from Escape Resolutions is not acceptable, nor trueThey state that I have not paid my time share fees, yet these were all paid on time and are not due again until In fact, when we met with Escape Resolutions, they said I had to pay my fees while they worked on this, so I made sure to do so
This company continues to be extremely dishonest and drag this out and not try and do the right thingThey have still done nothing to resolve this or provide the service they said they wouldOne year, although in their contract, is too long to expect to have to wait to complete this transactionIt is now mid-July and they are only three months from a complete yearIt is
unbelievable that they claim to be working on this at allI have seen no proof of this and want a full refund and this case should not be closed until some resolution is achieved
Thank you,

The client is referring to another company; we have reached out to that company and as far as we know that company has handled her concern
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2017/05/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept
the response from the business.)
The company response makes no senseOur complaint is against Escape Resolutions - not another company
Final Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2017/07/10) */
Our original response stands

My wife and I signed a money-back contract and have not received the guaranteed money-back!
ON April 7, 2016, we agreed to allow Escape Resolutions to get rid of our time shareWe signed a money-back guaranteed contract saying they had one year in which to do this and we paid them $5,A few
months later they called and said they were close to closing but needed $for closing costsIt it is now July 16,and we have not seen a penny from them.We are seniors (70+) and feel this operation is also taking advantage of other seniorS
The return of at least our $as promised
