In response to this complaint, I have reviewed the account notes, funding process, and retail installment contractHaving analyzed the matter I believe we have followed all applicable lawsI personally reached out to Ms*** in an attempt to discuss her concerns, unfortunately I was unable to
speak with her Based on my review, a representative from Prestige Financial Services spoke with the consumer on November 7th, During this interview the loan terms were confirmed, as well as the down payment, vehicle information, and customer contact informationMs*** did not mention that she had another auto loan and the other loan was not on her credit fileIt was not until after the contract was funded by Prestige that we received notification that Ms*** had another auto loanPer the customer the credit union through which she purchased the first vehicle made a mistake on her credit report by not accurately reporting her current auto loanHowever, we learned of the situation too late to reverse the transaction. We sympathize with the situation the customer is in, and have offered possible solution but have not come to a resolution at this time that is agreeable to both parties We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused, and invite Ms*** to reach out to our Compliance Specialist Kathryn D*** directly at 801-844-or kd***@gopfs.com if she has any further questions or concerns

I am rejecting this response because: I have responded to three different people and they seem to want me to call them I would rather email them so I have it all in writingAll I wanted then to do is change my payment date and now I am told that there a blackout no payments between the 21st to the 4th I never heard of this nor was I told this when I got this loan I really don't think I am asking for much just for them to work with me.

In response to consumer complaint, Prestige Financial ahs placed a cease and desist on Mr***'s account to not receive calls at work Prestige Financial is a second chance lender so at this time we do not offer a grace period With that being said we will work with Mr*** if he needs
payment arrangements on his account Prestige Financial would need to receive a full payment every month on the account We do offer help when we are able to give it to our consumers We do look forward to working the Mr*** in the future and Prestige does apologize if we have caused any inconvenience to Mr*** If Mr*** does have any further questions or concerns he is welcome to contact Kacee P*** Compliance Specialist at ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because: While Prestige did reach out to me there was no "talking" about this situationThe lady whom sent the response called and stated they were not going to change my credit reports, they were not going to change the charge off which they should since they agreed to a new payment plan, and they would not accept my settlement offer and that I would need to pay the $in order to settle and that while my account may be charged off I will still receive reoccurring interest on the charged off accountThey do not and did not listen to my concernsShe over talked me every chance she got and was not willing to try to rectify the situation in any way shape or formIt has been this way since day oneAs far as the late payments I am sure I had more than enough as I was in over head with this purchaseYes this is my fault not Prestige'sEven with that being said they are able to take advantage of people and that is unfairI tried to explain to her that they should have put the account as a voluntary repossession and that I was making payments not a charge offShe told me no it was a charge off and that they were not going to change it and that they do not have the means either as it is against the law? I tried to explain my concern that they are not reporting that I am even making payments and have been for over two yearsShe stated they do not have to as it is a charged off accountAs for the payment agreement it was made months prior to them even putting it on my credit as a repossession and on two of credit reports along with my husbands two years laterI tried to explain to her my income and her response is yeah we know and that is why we accepted the payments we are in the first placeOkay greatthat should tell you I am doing my best to get rid of this account and fully be done with itThey are taking my money and have been for the last two plus years and yet they do not have to report? They can report as a charge off and add interest but not that I am making payments to them? I have been lied to from day one from this company but regardless how many times I have pointed it out nothing ever changesI was not days past due on this account when I voluntarily sent it backI even had to call them on several occasions to make sure someone was coming to pick it upWe were contacted right after filing bankruptcy to purchase a vehicle and Prestige was 100% financing usOur bankruptcy was not even completed with the courts at this time as it was not discharged through the courts til February 18th of They pray on those who do not have good credit or are in the middle of filing bankruptcyI think this is very sadI have been paying for this mistake for over three years with no one willing to budge an inch on their sideHow much more can they take from me and be allowed to do it? I am not sure where to go from here but this is beyond frustratingI truly hope that someone will listen and at some point start doing what is right by us the consumers

In response to consumer complaint, Prestige Financial has reached out to consumer and explained what the steps to register the vehicle
Prestige emailed consumer on November 17th, with instruction and details on what needs to happen and what the consumer will need to do We have been in contact with Mr*** since first communication about the Title and registration If Mr*** has any further questions or concerns regarding this matter he is welcome to contact Kacee P*** Compliance Specialist at ###-###-#### We look forward to working with Mr*** in the future

I am rejecting this response because: The information they have reported to you is incorrectI had insurance on the car. I reached out to them numerous times and they were well informed about the car and showed no interest in what I was saying about the car they just wanted me to make payment on a car that I did not have nor could I drive. The body shop reached out to them as well and they never got back with him also.

Upon receiving Mr***'s complaint, Prestige Financial Services has investigated this account. We are reporting accurate information to the Credit Bureaus regarding Mr***'s payment history. In our most recent report to the Credit Bureaus Mr***'s account shows no derogatory
marks with payment history. If Mr*** has any further issues we would like to address them. He may call LeAnn at ###-###-#### for any concerns regarding this issue

In response to this complaint, I have reviewed the account notes, phone calls, and payment historyHaving analyzed the matter, I believe we have followed all applicable processes and am unable to corroborate Ms***’s claims Based on my review, Ms*** contacted our office on March 7, for a payoff a quote on her accountThe payoff balance for was provided, along with the per diem rate, and the payment was set up based on the bank information provided by Ms***Since that time the account reflects that Ms*** reset up the payment for the same amount and the account is closedWe appreciate her being our customer and wish her luck in all of her future endeavors If Ms*** has any additional questions or concerns I would encourage her to reach out to me directlyKathryn D***, Compliance Specialist for Prestige ??" 801-844-or kd***@gopfs.com
