In response to this complaint I reviewed the account history and notes.? We typically reach out to customer in an effort to better understand their situation and see what we can do to resolve their concerns.? However, Ms [redacted] has requested no additional communication.? Prior to receiving this complaint, Prestige placed a block for no additional communication.? Ms [redacted] ’s account is severely delinquent, and we did attempt to contact Ms [redacted] .? However, we are unable to corroborate her claims with respect to calling to times a day.? In summary I believe Prestige has acted in a fair and legal manner.? If Ms [redacted] has any other questions or concerns, I would encourage her to reach out to me directly ?" Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Through emails and phone calls with American family it is not to just this month Jan that they were able to reach anyone from PrastigeI am constantly getting calls about making payments on a car I do not have ? In response to this complaint I reviewed the account history and notes.? I also reviewed the account with our Vice President of Loan Production to better understand the situation.? Mrand Mrs [redacted] ’s July payment was moved to August 4th, however, there was a delay in this occurring and I believe this is why there was some confusion about the July payment.? Based on my review this was an isolated incident.? Our records indicate that the payment made on 22nd, was reversed and that Prestige never received payment on this date.? As of today, the [redacted] ’s account is current.? We value Mrand Mrs [redacted] and want them to have a positive experience, as such we are waiving $in fees on the account.? In response to this complaint, I have reviewed the account notes, payment history, and phone callsHaving analyzed the matter, I believe we have followed all applicable laws and am unable to corroborate Ms***’ claims ? Based on my review, we attempted to contact the customer several times throughout the month of June regarding her payment that was due on the 4th with no responseI am unable to locate any instance where an attempt to contact the customer was made more than once per day on the phone numbers we have availableMs [redacted] did make contact with our customer service department on June 16thShe informed the representative she would be making payment on June 28thOur customer service representative placed the customer on hold and attempted to transfer her to her account manager but Ms [redacted] ended the phone call prior to talking to the account managerDespite our efforts to make contact with the customer after this call, we were unable to reach her and did not receive a response when voicemails were leftDue the delinquency of the account which was more than days past due and no contact with her account manager, we continued to get ahold of her ? At this time I have a placed a cease and desist block on the account to not secure payment through a ACH process and to block contact with the consumer’s references ? In consideration of the communication concern, I am unable to locate an instance in which our representatives attempted contact with the customer more than once per day by phone call, and if a voicemail was left once per day by text messageI am also unable to locate any instance in which a representative stated that we do not care if the customer is sick or used inappropriate language.? In response to this complaint, I have reviewed the payment history and notesI also reviewed the credit reporting information in conjunction with the Assistant Vice President of our credit reporting departmentHaving analyzed the matter, I believe we have followed all applicable laws Based on my review the account balance is correctOn December 19, Ms [redacted] entered into a month contract to purchase a vehicleTo date, only of the payments have been madeAdditionally, the account has a number of issues that have impacted the current balanceFirst, only of the payments have been made on or before the due dateSecond, of the payments made were partial amounts less than the contracted installment amountThird, Ms [redacted] received a day extension on December 31st, allowing her to skip her November and December payments and have them added to the end of the loanThese events have led to the accrual of additional interest, as well as several late fees ? I also reviewed the credit report and the charge off status being submitted and reflected is correct.? In response to this complaint I reviewed the account history, credit trade line, and notes.? I personally reached out to MrsS [redacted] in an effort to better understand her situation, I appreciate MrsS [redacted] taking the time to speak with me.? With respect to MrsS***’s concern about her account balance, based on my review the balance on the account is correctThere were payments made on the account prior to MrsS [redacted] returning the vehicle, several of these payments were late, additionally, MrsS [redacted] received days of extensions on the accountLate payments and extensions may extend the term of the contract.? After the vehicle was returned, Prestige agreed to accept $per month as payments from MrsS***.? As part of the settlement agreement Prestige reduced her Annual Percentage Rate (APR) to percent.? We appreciate her willingness to make payments.? However, this amount is substantially less than the contracted monthly payment, as a result the account was charged off.? At the time MrsS***’s account was charged off, her account was over days past due.? Having reviewed the matter, I believe we have treated MrsS [redacted] in a fair and consistent manner.? Based on my review, the account balance is correctOn November 2, Ms [redacted] entered into a month contract to purchase a vehicleTo date, only of the payments have been madeAdditionally, the account has a number of issues that have impacted the current balanceFirst, only of the payments has been made on or before the specified due dateMs [redacted] ’ payments have been a total of days late, averaging a little more than days late per paymentSecond, of the payments made were less than the contracted installment amountThird, Ms [redacted] requested and received a total of extension days allowing her to defer a number of her payments till the end of the contractAdditionally, the account is currently days past dueAll of these factors have contributed to the current balance on the account? At this point we have reassigned the account to a new account manager, and have also placed a block stopping any payment reminders.? We also placed a block on the account so Mr [redacted] will no longer receive email communicationWe value Mr [redacted] as a customer and want him to have a positive experience.?
