My service dept is calling *** today about her screenThe problem is that the customer is pushing the screen and not the doorThe screen can not take the force of someone trying to push the steel security door openYou have to push the door open by the handle or by the steel frame of
the doorWe have explained this to the customer many timesWe cant control what our customers do.Its up to them to operate the door correctly, thank you

I am rejecting this response because:Date: Thu, Dec 8, at 3:PMSubject: Re: Medallion Complaint Response (***)To: *** *** Hello, ***Thank you for resending this email. The doors were made before the day cancellation dateOn the date of cancellation and the day before I was in preparing my Grandmother's funeral which on held on October 20thThe cancellation date was October 19th; however, I received a phone call on that date stating that my doors were ready for installationNo one ever came to measure my doors for them to be installedI spoke with the manager Michael S*** on October 24th who stated that the company's lawyer would contact meHowever, instead of anyone lawyer contacting me regarding the matter a credit account was opened in my name in November long after my conversation with MrS*** and still with no doors or contact from the lawyerI spoke with MrS*** again in November after noticing that an account was opened in my name and he said the lawyer was supposed to contact me and was not sure why he didn'tI just received a noticed from the company's lawyer Anthony S*** this week, that is dated for November 23rdWell over a month when I initially spoke with MrS*** and sent in my cancellation notice via email. Thank you for your support with this matter

*** *** Date: Thu, Dec 8, at 3:PMSubject: Fw: Security DoorsTo: "***" Hello, ***.Below is the email and cancellation notice sent to Michael S***, the general manager of Medallion.Thank you for your assistance with this matter. On Saturday, October 22, 5:PM, *** *** wrote:General Manager, Michael S***. On, October 13th, 2016; Eric L***, a representative from Medallion, came to my home to showcase the Medallion security doorDesperate to secure my home after a break-in, I signed a contract to have security doors and a window installed for $with no interest to be paid off after monthsOn Saturday, October 15th, I contacted Medallion because I wanted to cancel my orderHowever, I was told to call my sales representative; so I didI called Eric and told him that I wanted to cancel my contact because I felt that $was a bit too much for the security doors and windowsAfter speaking with his manager, he said that they could give me the security doors and window for $with no interest to be paid off after monthsHe told me that the other paper work I signed would be shredded and that I could sign the new contract when we were able to meetFrom October 17th until October 20th, I was incapacitated as I was planning a funeral for my Grandmother whom passed the week beforeSomeone from Medallion contacted me to come out to do measurements however; I was never available or home at the time for them to comeOn Thursday, October 20th, after my Grandmother’s funeral, I checked my voicemail and noticed that Medallion had called to say that my doors were readyI was confused because my doors at my home were never measured, so how could my doors be readyIn addition, I never met with Eric to sign the new contact that he said I needed to sign. Wanting to speak with someone in person, I went over to the Medallion location in Forestville, Maryland on Saturday at 2:00pmHowever, the office was closed, although it states on their website that the offices are open from 8am until 6pm on SaturdaysThus, I contacted Eric and asked him how my doors were ready when I was never home to meet with anyone to take measurements and I never signed the new contactHe stated that the measurements were taken, that the person taken the measurements could have accessed my house from my neighbor’s houseHe also said that since he was unable to reach me that other contact was still goodThis left me very confused for many reasonsThe biggest reason being how trespassing on someone’s property to take measurements is okay and how is the other contact still good, when I was informed that it was being shreddedI have a lot of questions and would love to speak with someone in person on Monday. Thank you,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:Medallion did not keep me updated via emailPlease provide copies of emails sentThis is a lie.If I was informed, why would I be calling the company and sending emails about the status? I can provide copies. Medallion is influencing customers to start construction without HOA approval which is unethical.
Regards,
David K***

The lumber used was pressure treated. If the customer is questioning the honesty of the lumber manufacturer who would think that the customer is telling the truth about treating the deck properly. The fact is that Medallion does not install non-pressure wood for there decks. The solution would be to replace the decking boards.Medallion has already gave the customer a estimate for replacing the decking boards.Thank you
