They also have many good brands and you can get prescription food they will contact your vet and send it out! The only thing I wish is that they had coupons every once in a while.
My dog recently passed and I called Chewy to stop my auto-fill set up and after that was taken care of, the rep told me to keep the product and donate it and she credited my charge card for the unused product...but there's more. The rep was actually more concerned with how I and my family was doing with the loss. Just today I received a sympathy card as well, again offering assistance in dealing with our loss. I have ordered only 3-4 times from them but they will get all my future online business and I will certainly let my friends and family know. Just to compare, I have not heard one word from my vet of almost 10 years. My last Chewy Order was # 27332645, if needed for verification.
We've been buying our dog food from Chewy for almost a year now and cannot stress how much we love their customer service. Free shipping to our door and discounts are nice too! Once they shipped us the wrong food, and told us to keep it and donate it (which we did, and the shelter was thrilled) while shipping out the right product the same day. Another time, they shipped 2 orders by mistake and gave us a 50% credit! And... they are open 24/7! We just called last night because we needed our auto-shipment to come in sooner. I love this company. My orders sometimes come overnight! And that is with paying regular shipping fee. They have superb customer service. I ordered 36 cans of a specific canned cat food. Unfortunately my cat developed a food sensitivity right after I ordered. I called and they immediately credited my account and told me to donate to a local shelter. I love this idea!! I have never had any issues with the packing of my orders. They come in side a big box and the cans are inside a smaller sturdy box. I will continue to recommend this company and continue to purchase from them. They have fantastic prices on most of their items.
chewy.com popped up on my computer a few days ago in an advertisement after I had been frantically searching for the type of (hard to find) cat food my cat eats (chicken soup for the cat lover's soul). I never do that (order from a company just because I see an advertisement), but I did some research and their customers seemed really happy. also they had, by far, the absolute best price for the cat food. in addition, they were having a sitewide sale so I purchased a bag of the food as well as a few more sale items. they delivered as promised within 2 days, in 3 boxes - one of them was damaged in transit. they took excellent care of me and more than made up for it (even though it wasn't even "their" mistake - (the boxes were damaged in transit). The day after my order from chewy.com for prescription dog food shipped we learned that our dog's illness had progressed and we would lose him. It was an extremely difficult time. I called the company and asked if I could return the food. Not only did they give me the money back, they asked that I donate the food to a local shelter. What a wonderful company, I was in tears. This is how a company should be run.
Most unbelievable company! I've been a customer for about 3 years and receive "auto ship" food for my older yorkie approximately every two months. Just a "small customer". When Avi passed mid December, my heart was broken. He lived for 17 years and 7 months and had a wonderful life. I emailed Chewy and told them to discontinue the shipments and why. I wrote a little about my Avi boy. They emailed and sent condolences.
