Customer came in to the Victoria Brake Check location and had an alignment done. She was advised that the vehicle would need additional aftermarket parts to complete the alignment and had also purchased our lifetime warranty option since she was going to have the parts installed at different
times. The work was completed and the alignment done, but the customer called back a few days later stating that the vehicle was still pulling to the right. Customer was asked to return to the Brake Check location so that we could inspect the work done and to address any needed repairs. The customer stated she could not make it in, but that she would try to come by the following week. The customer did not return the following week nor the week after. Customer came in to the Brake Check location on September 30th stating that she took the vehicle to another service company and had the alignment done. The customer asked for a full refund of all monies paid at time of service and was told that we, in fact, performed all services paid for, but that we would refund her the difference of the lifetime warranty alignment cost totaling $64.88. The customer declined this refund and asked for the corporate number. We are declining the full refund for services, but will continue to offer the refund of $64.88. - *** *** Corporate Director

I would like to add that I did, in fact, come in separate times after all the parts were put in and got an alignment all three times and every time it was still off and veered to the rightI was told it was because my tires were wearing funny and I needed new struts and new tiresI went to discount tire (where brake check sent me) and I was told my tires were just fineI also had other shops look at my struts and we're told these were fine as wellWhen I went to complain to brake check AFTER having the alignment done correctly, I was NEVER offered the refund by the managerHe said he could not offer me anythingSo that is a lieI will accept the dollar refundHowever, I am very dissatisfied with the way brake check handles their business and their clientsThe manager at the Victoria branch was rude and obviously a liar.

I am rejecting this response because:they wouldn't have honored the warranty to start with cause they charged her dollars and didn't change anything so how are you going to warranty your parts when they took her for a ride for and never changed anything on the car like I told chris at brake check the rotors on the truck are factory rotors so I know they was not changed but she was chared for new ones that's fraud so the bottom line is they can give her the dollars back that she was charged for work that wasn't done or we can go to court and I will prove that the work wasn't done and im sure at that point it will be a lot more than dollars and brake check know this aint the first time there reviews are filled with complaints like this it just this one isn't going away im willing to push this as far as I have to they took advantage of the wrong woman this time its a shame that a woman cant go in to a place of business without getting took advantage of
