Review: I purchased a $99 travel voucher from their website. The voucher was supposed to be good for airfares and hotel totaling $850. I received my receipt and confirmation information with instructions on how to redeem the voucher. I went on the website and followed the instructions to redeem the voucher. I received a message that I would be sent the information in about 3 weeks that was needed to go ahead and schedule my trip. That was about 8 weeks ago. I went back on the website to follow up and received a message that the vouchers are not being accepted at this time and I was to contact site where it was purchased. So I did, and there is no contact information to speak with someone. The only thing listed is an email address. I did send an email with my complaint and how to redeem the voucher that was purchased. Haven't heard from anyone as of yet.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to either refund the money spent on the voucher or deliver what was promised as part of the offer.

Business

Response:

We have issued a refund for the customer’s purchase of this deal and we have informed him of his refund by email.

Review: I paid for a product online and was supposed to be presented with a voucher that I could use to purchase a product. They processed my payment but did not provide the voucher. When I contacted them they channeled my through a third party who was supposedly handling my complaint. I repeatedly tried to contact this third party and was told to be patient and they were trying to handle it. Finally I was told by the third party that my request for a refund could not be processed as the voucher had expired.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and a letter of apology from all parties involved.

Business

Response:

We have issued a full refund for the customer’s purchase and notified him of the refund via email.

Review: Hello, my husband and I bought a voucher from KGB deals for a car service in Leeds, UK. We organised for the service, the mechanic came to our house and collected the car. We thought this was unusual, but decided that he was just a really friendly and customer-focused person. He called the next day, to tell us that the car needed several things fixing (our car is 2 years old, and some of the issues were unusual for a car of this age, but again, we thought that the mechanic would know better than us). He requested that we pay directly into his bank account, so that he could drop the car off to us once the payment has been cleared. We did that, and he dropped off the car. It was filthy, all our petrol was used up, even though we had an almost full tank, and the service garage was 5 minutes drive from our house, the log book was missing, and everything from the car was taken. When we called the garage, whose address was given on the voucher, the [redacted] said that this mechanic used to work for him years ago as a car washer, and that he was never authorised to use the premises, or to have anything to do with the company. The [redacted] was really concerned, and offered to look at the car. When he did, he said that no work of any kind was done on the car. We called the mechanic, who we finally got hold of after several failed attempts, and he became very aggressive and claimed that the [redacted] of the garage was his competitor and refused to accept the claim that no work has been done on the car. He promised to drop off the log book and to refund the fuel cost. This was on Wednesday, and today is Saturday night, and nothing of this sort was done. This morning, we went to another, independent, garage, and once again it was confirmed that the car was untouched in terms of service.

We contacted KGB deals on Wednesday, and on Thursday we received a response, which completely ignored our question as to why this service provider was not rigorously checked and verified, and offered £5 as a refund. We spent money not only on the voucher, but also paid the mechanic £120, plus the cost of petrol, and the loss of the log book with all its service history. When we emailed KGB deals again and reiterated that the service they sold was illegal, they refunded the cost of the voucher, but once again completely ignored our question. We feel that because they failed to accertain if the business that offered vouchers through their site, they are responsible for our loss of money.

Needless to say, we have gotten no further with getting any responses or refunds from the mechanic.

We would really appreciate your help in helping to raise this issue with the KGB, and with not only making sure that this does not happen to other customers, but also getting a refund for the service we paid for, but never received.

Many thanks and best wishes,

[redacted] and [redacted]Desired Settlement: We would like a full reimbursement for everything we have lost--£120 for the service we did not receive, £30 for the fuel that was stolen, and £15 for the purchase of new log book, without which we will struggle to sell the car, as all its service history was lost.

Review: This company was supposed to give a package travel deal for 2 people with hotel and flight to las vegas withing 2 years of purchase. I have been calling them for past years multiple times. They say that they are out of business when I call them. Actually, they are still cheating people with false dealsDesired Settlement: refund cash to my account

Review: I purchased a voucher for 3 necklaces for a total of $87.00 on 7/**/13. These vouchers were supposed to be good for 5 years. I called to place an order and received another company answering the phone by the name of nCrowd.com. They said they are not responsible for fulfilling any orders for KGB Deals and that I was "out of luck" because they took over KGB and KGB Deals is no longer in business. Although I could not purchase 3 necklaces at the promotional price after 2 years, my $87 was to be used toward the price of the necklace after the initial promotional period. At this point I am at a loss of $87 and looking for some help in resolving the issue. I have also left a message with the number ###-###-#### for KGB Deals and have not received a response.Desired Settlement: To be able to use the $87.00 that was charged to me for the necklace or a refund.

Review: I purchased a deal from KGB deals for a vacation trip. When I tried to redeem my trip that I purchased throught KGB deals I was unable to. I contacted them through email 4 times and each time I have been given the run around. I contacted them about a month ago and asked for a refund. They have not gotten back with me about the issue. The offer expires on 06/**/14. I don't know what type of scam is being ran on me but I am very unhappy with the level of customer service I have recieved.Desired Settlement: I want my monry back for the trip that was purchased without going through the stress of trying to speak with a rep. that always tells me to email. Emailing this company is useless!!!

Review: I purchased two "airfare and 2-night hotel for 2" vouchers for $99 each from kgbdeals on May **, 2012. It was advertised to be used in eight major cities in the United States. Then, I submitted the form to use one of the vouchers for a trip to LA, however no email confirmation was sent, and no phone number listed on the website. I have been unsuccessful in redeeming the first voucher because the company is unresponsive and falsely sold a product that doesn't exist.Desired Settlement: Please help me get the total value of $198 back, as I have been wronged by this company.

Business

Response:

We will arrange a check in place of the refund for the customer’s purchase. I have spoken to the customer to inform her about the refund and we will send her an email once the check is posted.

Review: I am not quite sure where to start. Bad business all the way around. Poor products (not as described), delay in shipping then shipped to the wrong state/address, no customer service or call back available and I could go on. Now that I have finally got through to someone I am told that bgddeals has been bought by someone else and that I can't get a refund on my items that they have but I can get credit to use at dealsondirect which is 4x the price for the same crappy products and is the same company that sent me my confirmation of order! Unbelievable and truly criminal! All I want is my money back for the products that they have in their possession. A total of 68.00 for the 2 black uwalk lifestyle and activity monitors which were $26.00 each and $8 shipping each totaling the 68.00. I do not want to be forced into buying products that I will never use at an inflated cost! The same watch I bought on kgbdeals is selling on this site for 129.99 now, it is a wide piece of plastic that doesn't work!

Thank you for your assistance in stopping this from happening to other potential victims.

Sincerely,

[redacted] a mother of 4 who can't afford to be ripped offDesired Settlement: To stop the company from scamming people. To issue me a full refund for products not as described that was returned and an item that was not received.

Our partner merchant for this deal advised us that the customer’s orders have been dispatched via USPS with tracking number [redacted].

She has to contact the partner merchant for further support and complaints about the product and to request re-delivery of her order if her order was sent to an incorrect address. We have provided her the partner merchant’s contact details.

[Your Answer Here]

This is unacceptable, the company that I bought these from isn't accepting calls. I spoke to the new company that wants to give me store credit for inflated products. I did not request for the products to be shipped to me after there mess up of sending it to another address. Again that was not my request! My request is for a full refund of a product ordered 4 months ago that is not wanted.

Thank you,

We cannot process the refund for the shipping fees because it was not paid to us. The customer still needs to contact the merchant regarding that concern.

Review: I purchased a service from this company to which I was given a certain amount of time in which to use the service. The company of the service went out of business before I could redeem the service. I requested my money back, to which KGB said they would be happy to do so and were processing my refund. This reply was sent by [redacted] on March 10, 2014. I have not seen any refund and any attempts on my part to email KGB have gotten no responses. I have emailed them a number of times.Desired Settlement: I just want my refund of $99 that I was told I would be receiving.

Sincerely,

Review: I've purchased a voucher from KGB Deals and redeemed it on 3/**/14. When I received the item, the material was not as described or what I expected. I contacted their customer service to inquire about the return process. They gave me an address to ship the item back to, which I did so on 3/**/14. The item was delivered to the company on 4/*/14. After waiting 3 weeks, I still have not gotten any word from the company acknowledging that they've received my returned merchandise and are in the process of giving me my refund. So I contacted them inquiring about the status - they asked me for tracking information, which I provided, but after that I did not hear from them again. Afterwards I've made 4 more attempts in contacting them for the status and how I can check the status of my credit. NO ANSWER. So from my first attempt in contacting KGB deals, regarding this issue, it is nearly 2 months. The number on their website does not give the option to a live representative - after the first ring, an immediate instruction is played informing me that I need to leave a name and number and someone will get back to me. At this point, I really do not know how to keep in contact or stay in contact with this company, it is as if they are deliberately trying to ignore their customers (because online there are also many complaints similar to mine regarding KGB deals, ever since they switched over to nCrowd).

I am awfully upset, because now I am losing out on the price of the item (since I returned the merchandise to them) and the shipping that I had to pay. Please, help me with my situation. Greatly appreciate it.

The item that I purchased from them is Men's Slim Fit Hooded Sweatshirt with Collar.Desired Settlement: Refund for the price of the item including my shipping fee for the trouble I have to go through.

Business

Response:

Good day!

nCrowd already processed a refund for the customer's purchase on May *, 2014.

Thank you.
