Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: No response from the creator, no product delivered, and no refund received In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Your Answer Here] I think Kickstarter needs to removed from Internet - this is NOT the first project to take peoples money and they get nothing in return - Kickstarter should be going after this company for all of its fake video of a product they didn't have We will NEVER use Kickstarter again and I hope everyone else will follow suit In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Investigations on Kickstarter are prioritized based on urgencyProject deadlines are determined by the creator, and Kickstarter cannot extend a project's 'live' statusIf suspicious pledge activity arises while a campaign is live, Kickstarter's Integrity team will factor in the time until a project ends, among other things, when determining how swiftly they should act.The Integrity team's processes are thoroughA single investigation may take up to a week to resolve entirely because it takes time to understand the scope of an issue, gather all evidence, and remediate each incident that may be part of a larger caseIn other words, many actions are required for cases with a large impactThis chain of actions is executed with timed precision, but looming project deadlines may hasten certain actions, such as canceling pledges and notifying those creators.Unfortunately such is the case with this creatorOur flagging systems caught a fraudulent backer who was part of a network of a dozen accounts very close to this creator's project deadlineAs a result, the Integrity team acted quickly to ensure the best remediation course: that no fraudulent money passed through Kickstarter's systemIn total, the network affected projects, which were still under investigation at the time that the Integrity team canceled this pledge. For reasons of security and privacy, we do not detail our investigations to our users, but notify them with the actions that will be taken and why they have been taken

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The business has not provided any answer to the complaint, it's just merely given its business overview.Perhaps they can address the fact that thousands of dollars have been stolen via their business; they keep there % regardless if a creator fulfills their requirements or not; and they censor backers (victims) comments Perhaps addressing ing the initial complaint instead of a blanket statement of what you want people to believe as opposed to the reality would be nice [redacted]

This is in response to Case #: [redacted] submitted by [redacted] on I'm happy to provide a timeline of actions we took on this project, and our attempts to communicate with the creator We did notify the creator before we took action on his project and included specific issues that concerned us We sent a message (1) to the email associated with the Kickstarter account hours before we took action, on October **, After no response, we followed up hours later on October **, We sent the same message under different subject lines to try to catch the creator's attention Only after receiving no response again from the creator did we take the action to suspend his project on October **, When the project was suspended, we sent a final message regarding the action (2) We do not have a record of the creator writing in to Kickstarter for support, as he claims he did For your reference, a project may be suspended if our Integrity team uncovers evidence that it is in violation of one or more of Kickstarter's rules, including: — Misrepresentation of support, through self-pledging — Misrepresentation or failure to disclose relevant facts about the project or its creator — The creator provides inaccurate or incomplete user information to Kickstarter or one of our partners — The characteristics of the creator account overlap with the characteristics of backer accounts that pledged to their project — A party related to the creator is posing as an independent, supportive party in project comments or elsewhere — The creator is presenting someone else’s work as their own — The creator is offering purchased items, claiming to have made them Additionally, as stated in our Terms of Use, we have the right to reject, cancel, interrupt, remove, or suspend any project at any time and for any reason Best, Kickstarter (1) Dear [redacted] , This is a message from Kickstarter’s Integrity teamWe’re writing to notify you that recent activity on your project triggered a reviewThis review found discrepancies between information presented on your project page and information surfaced elsewhere on the web, as well as in statements that you made in various publications such as WiredFor clarity, please reply to the questions below by tomorrow, October [redacted] at noon eastern timeWe hope that you’ll consider this an opportunity to communicate with full transparency, and assure you that we will not publicly release any information with which you respondCan you please confirm that the Anonabox router is built on a stock circuit board, and was not an open-source hardware design that you developed through several rounds of prototyping? Thanks for reaching out and for taking the time to send along your feedbackAt Kickstarter we are constantly working to improve the experience for both our backers and project creatorsWe take your input seriously, and we hope to leverage your feedback as we continue to develop the policies and procedures of our platformThank you for being a thoughtful member of the Kickstarter community

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out about thisWe're sorry to hear that backing this project has been an underwhelming experience, and that you’re dissatisfied with the reward you receivedWe do our best to maintain an ecosystem that gives project creators the support and freedom necessary to bring their creative ideas to lifeThis often means that when projects launch on Kickstarter they’re still in the early stages of developmentWe expect creators to make every effort to complete the project as promisedWe apologize that in this case, the finished product was ultimately different than what you had wished for.As a backer of the project, you played an important role in its developmentIn this specific case, we recommend continuing to reach out to this creator regarding your refund request and with input regarding the reward you receivedReceiving constructive feedback such as yours may help them to resolve your issue, or even improve their process or communication down the roadAs funds are disbursed directly to the project creator, we're unable to facilitate refundsThat said, we hope that this matter is resolved soon and we are here to help if you have any other questions or concernsBest, Kickstarter

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: My Bank Statement shows Kickstarter getting the money, no one else Kickstarter owes me the money! If they don't keep the money then they should not use their name as the one revceiving the money They are committing Fraud when they state that they do not get the money I want my money returned and a complaint in their file That is all I will accept In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [ Kickstartered had featured this project and is still on their listIt was one of their Staff PicksKickstarter endorsed the project, that is why we felt comfortable backing it.We feel that we were misled by Kickstarter, not only was/is delayed, it has also been modified several times We opted out of the project and have still not been refunded.Kickstarter is quick to take our money but are not there to protect customers that are making the system run Don't bite the hand that feeds you, we are very disappointed and feel betrayed ] In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Hi there,Thanks for reaching out about thisWe expect creators to fulfill rewards and communicate with backers at every step along the wayWhile Kickstarter is the platform for this agreement, we are not a part of itWe do not investigate a project creator’s ability to complete their project, nor do we facilitate refunds or the fulfillment of rewardsWhile in most cases you’ll find that rewards are delivered as promised, it’s also important to realize that some projects might not fulfill as planned.Successfully funded project creators plan their project around the funding they received while it was live on KickstarterAs a result, these funds are often tied up in the completion of the project, or fulfillment of rewardsIf you'd like to see if a refund may be possible, you will need to reach out to the project creator directlyTo message a project creator on Kickstarter, visit the project page and click on the creator's profile image or nameThis will open up their bio page where you can click the blue "Contact me" link to send them a message through our system. As funds are dispersed directly to the project creator, we're unable to facilitate refundsWhen you back a project on Kickstarter you enter into an agreement with the project creator, as described in our Terms of Use: [redacted] These terms outline the responsibilities of backers and creatorsThis information can serve as a basis for legal recourse if a creator doesn’t fulfill their obligations under the agreementWe hope that backers will consider using this provision only in cases where they feel that a creator has not made a good faith effort to complete the project and fulfill.Best,Kickstarter

We are sorry to hear about [redacted] 's disappointment with her experience on KickstarterWe again urge her to attempt to communicate with the project creator in order to resolve this matter Regards, Kickstarter

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: l This was changed in Kickstarter by Kickstarter (pledge level). I went to the company I backed and got told to be patient. I didn't know companies had access to Kickstarters data and could change pledge levels ???? In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above. Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: It has been over years and in that time the creator in question has been pretty bad about communicating, only doing so when someone complains(About every six months or so) When me and other people who contributed brought that fact up he got extremely defensive and rude and stated that he isn't comfortable with social media so that is the reason why he doesn't communicate So what do you suggest I do when the communication is so one sided?? I no longer want this cd, I really regret contributing anything at all because I know nothing will come of thisMy biggest complaint about all this is the fact that you, (Kickstarter) is content with sitting idly by and doing nothing while people have been screwed out of their hard earned moneyLike I have been saying before you NEED to get more involvedOtherwise anyone could start a project, collect money and not do anything moreYou've laid down the welcome mat to fraudAs far as I'm concerned I've been cheated and you don't care about that, you got your money out of the deal In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: This response still does not answer or address the complaint Kickstarter financially benefited from this transaction Since your company received $4,from this project, there is a responsibility to assist the backers The project creator is not responsive to backers, however Kickstarter has not attempted to help, though they, along with the project creator, have taken money from the backers In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: No such information was provided as to exactly why my project was deniedI have asked more then once and when I asked for a specific reason why I was told that couldn't be disclosed and I was banned from starting new projectsI asked for a phone call and have received nothing from Kickstarter to discuss why my project was denied and why I was banned They provide no customer service phone number but take money I dont see how that is legal Again kickstarters did not answer my complaint and is for some unkown reason hiding the reason why my project was denied when there are other projects of the same layout running on their site In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: BAUBAX are non responsive through email and the kickstarter siteThey only respond on Revdex.com and they didn't tell me if they return the money to you but said I have to go through youThey said they got the jackets back in the waregouseHow does this go, Did they return the funds to you? [redacted] one gave me a provisional credit for the time being but said they can charge it back if you guys don't respondAnd baubax keep saying because I got charged through kickstarter that I have to contact kickstarter what kind of fraud is this or is this company try to steal money from people through your site if they returned the to you please respond to [redacted] one so they can close my dispute and fix my credit report In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] **

I supported a project called Radiate Athletics over two years ago The project was fully funded and not a single backer had yet to receive their merchandise Kickstarter has been "MIA" and multiple emails to customer service were responded to with a "sorry, not our fault" attitude The project made hundreds of thousands of dollars All of this money, stolen from the backers Kickstarter has done NOTHING to track down the project creator, to give refunds to those who's hard earned money was taken from them, and continue with a lackadaisical attitude I feel that supporters should be given refunds BY Kickstarter, while in the mean time the Kickstarter team should track down these thieves

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: NonsenseYou happily accept a fee for the transaction yet you accept no responsibility when things go wrong? That is not how things workEven [redacted] will step in to make things right when you buy things through a 3rd party using their systemThis is not a 'you break it you bought it' situationAll I asked at the beginning was for you to get your project creator to make goodSince they have refused and since the money was processed by you, you have some responsibilitySimply own up to thatBe a good corporate citizen In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]
