We upgraded our portfolio program software last year to eliminate the amount of material that was required in hard copy form which has greatly enhanced the efficiency of the process No previous information submitted by Mr [redacted] was "lost" and Mr [redacted] confused the process when providing the updates to his Council Record This required some additional effort on his behalf.Since we acknowledge that Mr [redacted] was required to update his experience and references due to the change in software, I am authorizing a refund of his $transmittal fee and have directed that he be contacted by a member of the NCEES staff to ensure that his Council Record is up-to-date going forward.We apologize for any inconvenience that cause Mr***Jerry C***Chief Executive Officer

Even when I chat with the customer service online I use the name [redacted] and they always find my informationI took the exam in May with that name without any problemIt seems to me that [redacted] wants me to pay for the mistake of his company's websiteI cannot agree to pay another $ [redacted] after loosing $ [redacted] last yearThe ncees website also says "IDs must be current and include an expiration date, your name and date of birth, a recognizable photo, and your signature." NCEES is a confederation of all the state and territorial engineering boards and accordingly, the exams developed by NCEES are the only technical exams used to qualify candidates for licensure in the U.SMr [redacted] was provided access to an "Examinee Guide" and attested that he have read and understood all rules and requirements and that he agreed to be bound by these termsThis document identifies the type of IDs that are acceptable for admission to to the exam, the exam fee and the refund policySince Mr [redacted] did not arrive at the test site with the proper identification, he was not admitted and marked as "failed to appear." NCEES was responsible for the charge by the test center for the seat that had been reserved for Mr [redacted] for seven hours which is the lions share of the $costs of the examPart of being successful as an engineer is the ability to read and follow instructions which was not the case for Mr [redacted] Jerry C***CEO

The complainant was previously advised of the requirements for admission to the test center It was clear that his identification had to match the information that he had provided as a part of the registration process to take the examination The applicant had the opportunity to amend his name in his record to match his ID but failed to do so As such, he failed to comply with published requirements and no additional action is required by this office

when I called to ask about getting vehicle back I was not told I had ten days to get my car nor was I told that O was not handed the repossession paperwork to read any details The two gentlemen who came to get the cat left while I was on the phone trying to talk to them When I finally was able to find out what I had to do to get car back I was told that I had to pay the whole amount of the car to get it back I have another vehicle and I would just like my personal belongings back I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I am rejecting the response because there is no solution recommend by the business, just statements The CEO of NCEES mentioned that I can resubmit the references and request submittal (exactly where I am now - after a fee was already paid for service that is not being received) or I can simply wait until their systems are doing what they should be to provide the service they claim to deliver Not once was I told that the system will integrate the information in "a few weeks" - not on their website and not on the calls with customer service It took an official, external complaint for this information to be shared If the business is now saying that this information will be merged from the old system (here they are actually admitting fault - not presently providing the service they agreed to), why wasn't that expressed when I called customer service? Wouldn't that have been serving their customer instead of saying "if you don't like it you can apply directly to the state" - something that would have brought disgust and frustration to anyone stuck in that position? He paints a picture that I was acting hostile on the phone Since he is quick to point to the interaction, NCEES can release transcripts of the entire conversation, not only of the most recent call, but the initial call that was made when I first encountered his staff with their "take it or leave it" attitude I assure you that a much different picture will be seen Or NCEES can simply just accept responsibility and resolve the issue - something they would be readily doing if they weren't the only company that provides the service that they are supposed to provide The bottom line is that upon setting up the initial record and paying the initial fee, NCEES entered into a contract that states that the record would be valid for months - with no action required on my part to maintain within that month period I expect that contract to be honored Something that I am sure all customers of NCEES expect Regards, [redacted] ***

Each time a candidate signs up to take an NCEES CBT examination, they are provided confirmation which they can download confirming the date and time of the location that the candidate has choosen If they realized after making the appointment that they made a mistake, they may request the error be changed After a point in time, the test center has to commit that particular testing carrel to the hours required to take the exam and the test center is not allowed to release the seat This candidate obviously did not recognize his mistake in time to be able to cancel one appointment for another that better fit his scheduleThere are numerous instructions provided to candidates about what actions to take when they made a mistake or if they need to reschedule an exam Therefore, I see no liability on NCEES' part with respect to the candidate's issued regarding taking this exam

The candidate has an expired temporary driver's license He had a limited extension from the DMV but had this as an email on his cell phone and had failed to print out for the test administrators The candidate failed to provide adequate ID in order to be allowed admission to the examination per policy[redacted]

NCEES was assessed the testing fee by the test vendor since a seat had been reserved for the candidate for hours The candidate was not allowed admission to the exam site due to his failure to comply with the state ID requirements for admission to the exam The candidate may reschedule the exam but will be required to pay the exam fee again

NCEES contracts with *** *** to administer computer-based examinations at *** *** test centers A portion of all fees, to include rescheduling fees, go directly to *** *** When a candidate schedules an exam at a *** *** test center, a sequence is put into place reserving a seat for that candidate at the desired test center for a hour period When a candidate wishes to request a rescheduling of that examination, both *** *** and NCEES have to amend rosters, schedules and update databases which is why we retain $ In rescheduling an examination, a number of factors come into play and it's not merely a matter of the candidate picking an alternate time and date As I noted previously, we cue candidates twice to check their information to ensure its accuracy before the submit based on our policies

In fact, NCEES software changed my end date with *** from March to January It then automatically created a form for unaccounted time that was pre-filled except for my explanation of that timeIn fact, my record was transmitted to the Tennessee Deptof Commerce and Insurance prior to catching the corrupted end date. Hence, no NCEES review took place of my work history prior to transmittal because it hadn't been edited to date! Upon notification of the discrepancy in end dates by TDCI, I did go back and edit my end date to March of Furthermore, my application couldn't be submitted without of my references 'being current' even though my work history hadn't changed since the last NCEES transmittal. ***, NCEES needs to note these glitches or software design mistakes and make the necessary changes to prevent this from happening to their clients in the future.

The NCEES Web site provides information as to when the registration opens for specific examination administrations and likewise when the registration closes The Principles and Practices exam are only offered twice each year with specific registration datesNCEES incurs expenses by receiving

In reviewing Ms***'s Complaint I see So many things that are incorrect it would take too much time to do a point by point rebuttalSince the initial issue for which I Contacted the Police, I (*** *** not a wife to *** ***) have tried to work with Ms*** in regards to her difficulty

NCEES is in the midst of transitioning a very antiquated record system to one that will eliminate much of the paperwork and will bring about significant efficiency to the process going forward Based on concerns that we have received from other Record Holder, we are amending the system which
will allow us to export most of the information from an existing record to the new form Mr*** can submit his initial license verification and references which will complete the process or wait the few weeks that it is gong to take for us to complete this process.Also, our records indicate that Mr*** used profanity in speaking with the NCEES Customer Service Representative so I am not surprised that he did not receive the friendliest of help We strive to provide great customer service but I instruct the CSR staff not to subject themselves to profanity. *** ***CEO

My NCEES profile has the same name as my drivers' licenseNo where in those instructions specify what to do if you want to change your name, it just says contact ncees for acceptable forms of ID which is completely different from "if you want to change your name contact NCEES"The fact that I took this exam in with the same name and didn't have any problem didn't suggest there will be a problem since nothing changedI have other documents like my BSC diploma in that nameAll the names on my registration are on my drivers licenseIf the proctor had checked me in at 7:when I came and told me that, I would've still gone home to bring other forms of ID, but no, he checked me in last, a few minutes before 8:00am when the exam was scheduled to start and then told me he'll still let me in if I come at 8:which was too late by thenDid NCEES also pay the $** that I lost late last year to an exam test agency even when I wasn't registered to any board and the decision to change states was really short? all it would've taken is a click of a button to fix the problem yet I was charged a $** feeThat's robberyEven most businesses have decent return policy, but NCEES is out to pounce on every dollar they can lay their hands on
