Subj: Complaint
We verbally contracted to have our 2011 Avalanche shipped from Las Vegas to Virginia Beach week before last. My husband has been texting and calling *** Sales specialist and he has not replied. A woman called yesterday and said that *** was on a leave of absence and the rates have changed and wanted to charge us more. When we asked for a supervisor, she said her supervisor was unavailable, then we asked for another supervisor, she got belligerent. We had a verbal agreement with *** but she said that since no credit card was furnished she wanted to start another agreement and wanted to charge us more. My husband had been calling and texting *** to give him that info, but the ball was dropped by *** and your company. The only reason she called us is because she picked up his voicemail and returned our call. We have been very patient with your company because you have an A+ rating, but now we are to get shafted? We should be charged LESS not more for our inconvenience.
What are you going to do about this? It has been two weeks since the truck has been with my in-laws and this is my husband's main transportation vehicle?????????????

We understand your complaint and wish to help. However, *** never booked the order so we don't have a contract. Unfortunately, the rates on this route increased so the rate that *** provided a month ago is outdated. We would like to help you transport your vehicle but will understand if you decide against working with us. We just like to be upfront about what is current on this route.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure it was leadership that did not take care of my complaint when I contact the Revdex.com.
To whom it *** concern: *** (not ***, his wife) was the one talking with *** about shipping the Avalanche. All we did for this potential customer was to provide a quote, an estimate. He seemed to like it but never committed to working with us, as he did not provide credit card info, specific locations, addresses names and numbers for pick up and delivery, never requested the contract and, of course, never signed it. Needless to say, nothing was EVER charged. This was NEVER an order, just a quote, so we were in no obligation to go any further, As this potential customer had some specifics about the dates he could receive the vehicle or not, out of good faith, we started looking for a truck to accommodate him. Again, with no obligation in our end, and no commitment on his end. So, in our eyes, Mr. was never our customer, neither was his wife ***. We provided a quote, they didn't contract us, we worked for free, the prices went up so we passed *** information on to them. Had they booked with us, we would have never ask for an penny more. In fact, as the broker, we were not charging more, but this works in a "offer and demand" manner and truck prices just went up, for which he would have had to pay more. We went above and beyond trying to secure a carrier for this person even though we had no guarantee he was going to book with us. Not only are they NOT entitled to a discount (a discount from what? I might add) but I also find the fact the *** chose to leave this review very disappointing.
As I said, my husband was under the impression that Mr. did indeed consider us a customer and put our truck on his board. We did get a quote from Mr. and when my husband called a second time, Mr. said the quote was still good. So what Mr. said and did were two different things.He did not return any of my husband's calls or texts after that second phone call, that is why the woman called us, she returned Mr. phone calls because he was taking a leave of absence. There is where the ball was dropped. Mr. didn't return the calls and texts so we couldn't give him a credit card. Mr. told my husband once he booked a truck he would take the credit card info. He also said he would call my husband to get that info, so we waited to hear from Mr. When he didn't call, that is when my husband started texting, and calling. Because of this we had to start all over again and wait for another week before our truck was shipped by another company. As far as working for free, the company we went with did not charge our card until the truck was picked up. So what Mr. said and did were two different things.
