complaint is based on the business practices of Bestway. The third pump was received. In order to receive the warranty pump, Bestway requires the consumer to conduct unreasonable measures such as cutting a heavy electrical chord. The chord is in a location 1 inch off the floor, making it impossible to reach and a barrier. The consumer performs all that is asked and Bestway will reject the claim stating the chord wasn't cut close enough to the pump. I've had two pumps fail. Bestway told me I was a liar and only trying to get a free pump. They had me perform tasks like writing claim numbers on the pump with extra photos. I expect pump #3 to fail.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  However once I got the unit because I waited so long the spa had a leak in it. I did contact customer service because this also has a 1 year warranty bestway did say the will send me another spa I sent the pictures in as they requested  I am waiting on that once I get the other spa I will be ok with this company action.

Hi, The issue with this claim was that consumer never sent the IMAGE of the batch # requested. We have gone ahead and sent the new pump outside of our normal procedure for pump replacement/warranty as we do not want our consumer to be upset, the new pump was delivered on : Wed 7/29/2015...

We contacted the customer directly. There was a replacement 1500 Gallon filter pump sent and is due to arrive July 17, 2015. In addition we have [redacted] Expressed a larger 2500 Gallon Filter Pump to arrive on July 14th. This customer will have two filter pumps for the pool, with one being larger 2500...

Gallon Filter Pump which will circulate and clean the water above standard for their size pool, this will allow the customer to have two working pumps in case there are any issues with set-up and ongoing maintenance. With two new replacement filter pumps and one being larger for their size pool, customers will have the proper pump in place to filter the pool water and an extra on hand in case of any future problems. Our Customer Service Manager has given this customer their direct phone number to contact if there is any need for questions, etc.

her complaint , this is correct, we will send replacements, even though her proof of purchase has expired for warranty claim and make an exception for her. Our corporate policy for warranty claims is standard and we will work with the customer on product replacement Ex: liner, pump, etc. we do not give cash refunds.If she would like a new liner or help on making sure that the pump is correctly setup to blow up the spa to the correct PSI we can reopen her case. We do have a standard warranty process and the claim was started on 7/12/16, we needed a proof of purchase which was received into our system on 7/18/16.
