Kwik Tow Towing & Impounds Reviews (54)

Hi [redacted] I am [redacted] owner of Kwiktow.  I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we caused you last night.  I'm not an excuse guy but we did have a driver call out last night which put us in a bad situation for our far East valley properties.  I am sending a day driver as we...

speak to remove the vehicle if it still their, we are also going to add more signage to your parking space to see if we can deter people from parking there.  I understand that you are upset right now but I don't think us being shut down is a viable solution to this event. All crew members involved have been reprimanded and counselled.

We were not notified of the management change at a property we have serviced since 2008.  I sent out a refund for the full amount she has asked for in our Emails. I don't blame her for being upset I only wish the management would take some responsibility instead of giving...

misinformation to their residents and making us look so bad in an unfortunate situation.

There is nothing to resolve. You parked in someones reserved parking space and were towed.

The trailer was towed by property management.  The doors were locked so we could not evaluate the interior for security of items. The claim of damage was made after the trailer was removed from our storage yard by the complainant.

I understand the tow process, and I accept responsibility, I have no issue paying when I make a mistake, but that does not mean I should be robbed by a tow driver. I park in no parking , fine tow me, but don't go through my vehicle illegally and take my hard earned money, that's unacceptable. Kwik Tow is a company full of crooks and thieves, the drivers WILL go through your vehicle and will take something , if you have the unfortunate experience to have to deal with them, check your vehicle, if something is missing don't leave until police come out , at least file a report , these lowlife drivers and owner need to be exposed for their felonious ways

by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Kwik Tow negligently tossed my trailer around, even when it was unnecessary to do so.  There was a clear path to my trailer, and I was able to drive up, attach my trailer to my car, and remove the trailer from their property. They choose instead to angle the trailer in excess of 30 degrees and toss it around.  I do not accept their offer, as they damaged my property by not acting according to standard tow company techniques.Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until 12/7/15 for the business to perform this action (a $60 refund) and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I was pulled over 7/24 and my car was towed by Kwik Tow, three weeks into the 30 day AZ DPS impound of my vehicle was stolen from there yard located in Buckeye. Now im a pretty reasonable guy and know that crooks are out there but its also my thought that when a vehicle gets stolen from an impound yard the owner of said vehicle would be called, and that a report would be made of the vehicle theft and damages to the tow company yard. However this never took place. My car was in their possession, Kwik Tow, and disappeared with out a word.

Assuming my car is still being held on 30 day impound, I get a postcard from Phx PD 8/20 (before the 30 impoundment is up) saying my vehicle was moved and is now located at a different tow yard. I call the tow yard who where very polite, and explained that my car was towed by Kwik Tow on a DPS impound and that I received a post card saying it was now in their possession. They told me I'd need a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and current vehicle registration ( all of which I had to obtain still once finished paying court restitution) so I let them know I would be in contact with them on when I'd be by for the my vehicle. Which I called them weekly to give up dates and ask new balance of charges. Once everything mandated for me to do was complete 9/16 I went to this new company to get my car out of impound who's bill was $958 (which I was planning on paying cash for that day) and thats when I found out that my car was stolen from Kwik Tows lot. Phx PD impounded the car on suspicion of being stolen 8/16, of course it was obvious of theft with the damages present yet no one made a report and all the while I'm assuming my car was still on the DPS 30 day impound.

When I called Kwik Tow 9/16 the girl first told me that my vehicle was shown in her system as present on her lot, she then placed me on hold to verify. When she got back on the line she then actually accused me of stealing the vehicle from their impound lot and hung up on me!!! By the way I recorded that if you don't believe me!

I contact Phx PD and Buckeye PD 9/16 and filed a stolen vehicle report on 9/19 with Buckeye PD. Kwik Tow admits to police the date they notice my vehicle was no longer on their lot, 8/8, and that they never called police to make a report!

This company has an Arizona Department of Public Safety contract yet my car is stolen from their yard and they don't report it back to law enforcement? I'm a reasonble person and know bad things happen so I agreed to meet with them (Kwik Tow) on resolving the situation the way they suggest, which is pay them for the days they have record of storing my vehicle while on the impound, $331.50 which I PAID 9/19 and that they would get me into one of the cars they have ready for auction. Once down there, I'm told by their representative that it was never my plan to get my vehicle back, very offensive, and then they proceed to show me a busted mini van that has flat tires!

Needless to say I did not except...

This business is crooked, shady, fishy however you want to say it and needs to be shut down before more people are affected by said above business practices

We do not choose the vehicles that are towed,  your property manager makes that decision.  Kwiktow reduced your fees from $117 to $50 even after your foul mouthed rant and physical threats.  You were equally rude and vulgar at the Tow yard to my yard attendant.  You then drove to...

our corporate location for a copy of your $50 receipt Tuesday 5/6 with your profanity filled style of communication.  We explained that we would get that for you but the lady that has the receipts was at the bank and would be back in 15 min.  You proceeded to curse and yell at my release agent.  I would appreciate if you would not come back to any of our yards and we all hope we never tow your car ever again.  I have included a copy of your receipt here on my Revdex.com response,  if that will not suffice please give me an E-mail or fax # that I can forward a copy of your receipt, or I can leave it at your apartment office.

I'm a very responsible and professional Private Impound Company Owner. I understand that you are not happy about being towed from a HC space at Montelano and I'm sure you didn't parked there on purpose but mistakes do happen. I have no problem refunding you $60 of your $117 but your...

rant regarding Scams & Collusion for profit is out of line and unacceptable at best. It's very simple you parked in a designated HC space without a HC placard on Private Property and got towed. Now if you would like to take some responsibility for your mistake and change your attitude as well as your insatiable desire to defile our good companies name for doing what we were hired for.  If you were physically handicapped I'm sure you would be berating us for not towing a car. Let's see if you can respond in a mature manner and I will be more than happy to work out a reasonable deal with you.

THE FIRST THING YOU SAID TO ME WAS WHAT FREAKING TRUCK WAS IT. SO THERE WAS NO RESPECT FORM THE START OF THE CONVERSATION SO PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH YOU UNLAWFULLY UNLOCKED MY TRUCK AND GOT INSIDE AND NOW STUFF IS MISSING I HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE AND STARTED A LEGAL MATTER I HAVE REPORT NUMBER IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE SO. SO EITHER WE CAN RESOLVE THIS PRIVATELY OR IN COURT DECISION IS YOURS.

The vehicle was parked in another residents assigned covered parking space and they had it towed, therefore nothing was illegal regarding the vehicle being impounded. If you feel it was illegal then call the Police. I would suggest if you want to be treated with respect in a professional manner then...

don't call up spewing your filthy mouth and bad attitude. I attempted to have a reasonable conversation with you but you chose to escalate the content of our phone call in a negative manner. I will not refund your impound fee.

Kwik tow. Sg owner "Ron." Now I don't expect glowing reviews for any company that tows cars at police/property owners' requests but these a-holes go out of their way to be Sg when they could just be plain old run-of-the-mill a[redacted]es. Towed car from Highway (had dead battery) after no more than 2 hours while we were going to get a new battery and our own car to tow it. Stole our dealer plates from the vehicle. Refused to release the car because our name was not on the FRONT of the title (we are a licensed used car dealer and cars purchased at auction are almost always signed over to us on the back of the existing title) and then tried to charge extra daily fees until we could get out there again with a new title. Every time he was informed of the illegality of his actions his response was "we have a contract with DPS and have to abide by it." Well contracts do not allow you to violate the law regardless of who the contract is with, you ignorant, lying Sg. The most disgusting thing is that these pigs prey on the poor and those who can least afford it, running up bills knowing they'll never be called to task or taken to court for obviously CRIMINAL conduct. When they are forced to deal with a person with money and an education, they resort to mock indignation and insults. Threaten the OWNER with small claims court, make him waste the same time he's more than willing to let his employees waste of your time and you'll get results.

My car was towed saterday night by kwik tow..when I contacted the towing company I told them that I was not asking for the car back but that my purse and diaper bag was in my car and that I had medicine for both me and my grand baby in that diaper bag. (I'm a insulin dependent diabetic and the baby was on antibiotics) the young man that answered was named chase...he was very rude and told me that I would have to wait for Monday to get those things....I explained that my med was life saving medication and that in life threatening situations where someone's life was in dangers he could not prevent me from my meds and that someone would have to meet me and allow me to retrieve e those medications.I could not wait till monday ,he implied I was lying and hung up abruptly.....something needs to be done about this...I'm furious.

The Management has already refunded Mr [redacted] $117 for the tow although that was omitted from his initial complaint.  I have no further response considering the communication has moved to name calling & character assassination.
