Kwik Tow Towing & Impounds Reviews (54)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

What a unprofessional response but I should expect that from a towing company that operates like they do. I do not accept for the following reasons.

1.) My car was on PRIVATE PROPERTY. That means my agreement with my apartment complex is what matters not what some it at Kwik tow thinks. Regardless of what parking issues [redacted] has Kwik tow has to be smart enough to realize that there are RULES on private property for towing cars. My lease does not state my car can be towed for being backed in or double parked therefore Kwik Tow cannot tow my car or they need to show PROOF in writing that the residents at Cabana including myself AGREE to not park in that specific violation(s). There is in fact no rules that state that my car is subject to be towed based on it being parked backed in or double parked. The complex has told me I am right and they are changing the lease. My complaint against Kwik tow is they are not smart enough to know the rules where they tow cars and they towed my car illegally and I have already attached my vehicle community policy on my lease.

Regards,

We impounded the vehicle for parked on landscaping per the managers criteria.  The manager asked that we release it at no charge after Mr [redacted] caused a scene in the office.  We towed the vehicle with dollies which all wheels are off the ground which is SOP with electric & all...

wheel drive vehicles. We caused no damage so reimbursement of any type will not be entertained.

Extremely poor (and vulgar) customer service, questionable business practices and the employees at the associated impound lot I visited left work at least two hours early, leaving me without my vehicle for an extra day.

If you are looking for an apartment, DO NOT under any circumstances move into a residence where the leasing office has a relationship with Kwik Tow. They will find an excuse to tow you.

We do not choose the vehicles that are towed,  your property manager makes that decision.  Kwiktow reduced your fees from $117 to $50 even after your foul mouthed rant and physical threats.  You were equally rude and vulgar at the Tow yard to my yard attendant.  You then drove to...

our corporate location for a copy of your $50 receipt Tuesday 5/6 with your profanity filled style of communication.  We explained that we would get that for you but the lady that has the receipts was at the bank and would be back in 15 min.  You proceeded to curse and yell at my release agent.  I would appreciate if you would not come back to any of our yards and we all hope we never tow your car ever again.  I have included a copy of your receipt here on my Revdex.com response,  if that will not suffice please give me an E-mail or fax # that I can forward a copy of your receipt, or I can leave it at your apartment office.

I'm sorry for the damage incurred to your property unfortunately it was unsecured at the time of tow and we did not have an opportunity to access the contents to evaluate.  I would suggest using your renters insurance.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until 12/7/15 for the business to perform this action (a $60 refund) and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

My Jeep was towed for being parked in a handicapped parking from Bellarine apartments on 11/29/2015 and the car was picked up from their tow yard at 5715 w. Maryland the dat after. The car was not damaged in any way altough there was property of mine stolen and seemed as if the whole vehicle was searched. I called the same day to their office, the dispatcher said there is nothing they can do. I emailed the owner of the company with the list of items that were stolen and haven't resolved anything on my stolen property.

The trailer was towed by property management.  The doors were locked so we could not evaluate the interior for security of items. The claim of damage was made after the trailer was removed from our storage yard by the complainant.

We were not notified of the management change at a property we have serviced since 2008.  I sent out a refund for the full amount she has asked for in our Emails. I don't blame her for being upset I only wish the management would take some responsibility instead of giving...

misinformation to their residents and making us look so bad in an unfortunate situation.

Truly the rudest people I have met in my life . You will to get a service done and they will completely ignore until it is convenient for them . Then when you call to ask them simple questions they will hang up on you if it's convenient and will not put an effort to their work schedule . The girl who works in the morning literally said she couldn't do anything for me because she wasn't there when u first called

They don't do business well and even when you are calling for simple questions can be very good

I know it's a tow company but they should treat customers or prospect customers with respect . The man will continuously disconnect the call and disrespect you on the phone even if you are calling with a simple question .

This company as a whole has the worst service

I was pulled over 7/24 and my car was towed by Kwik Tow, three weeks into the 30 day AZ DPS impound of my vehicle was stolen from there yard located in Buckeye. Now im a pretty reasonable guy and know that crooks are out there but its also my thought that when a vehicle gets stolen from an impound yard the owner of said vehicle would be called, and that a report would be made of the vehicle theft and damages to the tow company yard. However this never took place. My car was in their possession, Kwik Tow, and disappeared with out a word.

Assuming my car is still being held on 30 day impound, I get a postcard from Phx PD 8/20 (before the 30 impoundment is up) saying my vehicle was moved and is now located at a different tow yard. I call the tow yard who where very polite, and explained that my car was towed by Kwik Tow on a DPS impound and that I received a post card saying it was now in their possession. They told me I'd need a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and current vehicle registration ( all of which I had to obtain still once finished paying court restitution) so I let them know I would be in contact with them on when I'd be by for the my vehicle. Which I called them weekly to give up dates and ask new balance of charges. Once everything mandated for me to do was complete 9/16 I went to this new company to get my car out of impound who's bill was $958 (which I was planning on paying cash for that day) and thats when I found out that my car was stolen from Kwik Tows lot. Phx PD impounded the car on suspicion of being stolen 8/16, of course it was obvious of theft with the damages present yet no one made a report and all the while I'm assuming my car was still on the DPS 30 day impound.

When I called Kwik Tow 9/16 the girl first told me that my vehicle was shown in her system as present on her lot, she then placed me on hold to verify. When she got back on the line she then actually accused me of stealing the vehicle from their impound lot and hung up on me!!! By the way I recorded that if you don't believe me!

I contact Phx PD and Buckeye PD 9/16 and filed a stolen vehicle report on 9/19 with Buckeye PD. Kwik Tow admits to police the date they notice my vehicle was no longer on their lot, 8/8, and that they never called police to make a report!

This company has an Arizona Department of Public Safety contract yet my car is stolen from their yard and they don't report it back to law enforcement? I'm a reasonble person and know bad things happen so I agreed to meet with them (Kwik Tow) on resolving the situation the way they suggest, which is pay them for the days they have record of storing my vehicle while on the impound, $331.50 which I PAID 9/19 and that they would get me into one of the cars they have ready for auction. Once down there, I'm told by their representative that it was never my plan to get my vehicle back, very offensive, and then they proceed to show me a busted mini van that has flat tires!

Needless to say I did not except...

This business is crooked, shady, fishy however you want to say it and needs to be shut down before more people are affected by said above business practices

This not true how they are making it seem! The court could not do a order of protect towards a company and I did not know that and the [redacted] court "judge" informed me of this! Not because this wicked company was in the right! Plus the cop on that they called at the end of the day told them if they were to take the car while I was there that the tow truck driver would go to jail! Boy these [redacted] don't stop with the LIES!
They love fiat money and will try to take what you have to use it to get that fiat money! The driver on record (voice recorded) stated he did not like "black" people! God will end them in time! Can't run from God!
I know this is Arizona and I a great amount of "whites" don't care for "blacks" but thought I would put that out there!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Your vehicle was tagged by on property Security for backed in & double parked.  We were called out by Security to remove your vehicle.  We are not affiliated with Security in any way.  I'm not sure why your complaint is against us,  I guess just an easy target for you....

The Property management has my cell ####-###-#### and has made no attempt to talk to me regarding your vehicle and I have spoken with them on 3 occasions in the last week.  The Community has extreme issues with overnight parking capacity so I'm not sure where in your Lease documents it says you can double park,  if that is the case then Management should give you a special pass for your dashboard that says you can park anywhere you want then you would not have any issues other than your neighbors not having a place to park. I have attached a photo from prior to tow.   Kwiktow declines any refund or reimbursement of any kind.

Thank You,
