The company should provide us with gas cards for tanks of gas; for the car not being full upon purchase, and another for the waste of gas driving to the dealership without the car being there on the first appointmentThe company should also provide us with full in and out details from Delta Sonic; for the car not being properly cleaned upon delivery, and the other for the no call no show situation we endured yesterday at the schedule time of pick up at 11amThe company should also provide us with a check for months of car payments due to the financial hardship they put us in with not properly handling the call to the old finance company and having multiple payments now come out on a vehicle we no longer ownThe company should also provide another item of compensation for the lack of customer service, harassment issue with the salesman, and additionally the company should cease and desist from all communication from any employee as the West Herr Used Car Outlet, specifically related to the GM Steve, car salesman Joe, and any of the multiple individuals that have privately texted her cell phone without proper authorization

We have given Mr [redacted] over $in goodwill gestures over the last months We feel that the goodwill gestures are satisfactory to help Mr [redacted] with his concernsWe have offered him trade in assistance over months agoWe will again extend Mr [redacted] that same offer of trade in assistance towards a different vehicleNot all the items of concern presented by Mr [redacted] were covered under his extended service contract, however, the items of concern that were covered under his service contract, were satisfiedWe will contact Mr [redacted] to extend him the aforementioned offer of trade in assistance

We are sorry for the troubles that Ms [redacted] experienced while trying to cancel her warranty We have reached out to her and have cancelled the warranty as requested, and the refund has been sent to the bank Additionally, we are working with Ms [redacted] to help her purchase another vehicle

We are sorry for the troubles that Ms [redacted] is having with her vehicle The vehicle is currently being evaluated by her insurance company Once the evaluation is completed, we can certainly sit down with Ms [redacted] and discuss options to assist her

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below While Steve has done his best, because this is a new vehicle and new loan I would have to trade it in, and my payments on even a similar vehicle would double to about 5-since it would have to be paid off with the interestAt this point because this vehicle is months old (loan) on a month loan, its unrealistic to trade it in on something smaller or less suitableIve already come out of pocket over $within the first days of ownership, and am only interested in swapping or trading it in for a 4xFull size Truck.hing else is a downgradeAnd even then my payments will still doubleThis is not a solution, the idea that west herr would throw some money in the deal for my out of pocket expenses etc wont help at all, it will just DOUBLE my existing payment Steve P [redacted] advised me on 5/4/he didnt think anything they have in inventory would work for me since it would be prohibitively expensive monthly paymentsAt this point I would like monetary consideration in the form of cash or check for the work that SHOULD have been performed under warranty but through no fault of my own was deniedSince I have already spent thousands on this vehicle to make is safe and roadworthy, the only other option is to swap out this vehicle for a similar or better full size 4xvehicle with towning capability, with the same or similar paymentIve spent enough money fixing it Thank you!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While I appreciate that West Herr took the initiative to repair/replace a leaking fuel pump and front struts and springs, id like to re-iterate the following: Pursuant to NYS CRR 79.21, NYS VEHICLE INSPECTION.All suspension, Fuel Tank and leaks and Parking brake must be functional to operate the vehicle safely on NYS roads. So for West Herr to repair items that should not have passed a legitimate NYS inspection should not even be consideredFurther, they flat out refused to even look at the 4xsystem, and said they would replace the ONSTAR/Satellite module but cannot obtain one as they are back ordered indefinetelySo theres another 500-dollars they should spend finding one one the used market. My point from the beginning is I spent hundreds within days of purchasing the vehicle and was stonewalled at every attempt to obtain repairsI asked for compensation for the brake work that had to be done and was ignoredI was told the onstar worked but would not "activate" until I purchased it Needless to say, it is defectiveThe 4xwill not engage, the Emergency brake is useless, No onstar, Spent hundreds out of pocket on brakes, another several hundred today on tires, The vehicle I purchased is a West Herr VALUE VEHICLE PROGRAM VEHICLE IF WITHIN THE FIRST DAYS OR MILES I DECIDE I DONT LIKE IT, I CAN RETURN IT FOR ANOTHER VEHICLEPERIOD., they knew my intention was to either have THEM REPAIR THE VEHICLE or I FULLY INTENDED TO RETURN IT AND CHOOSE ANOTHER VEHICLEThey were either aware the vehicle contained significant mechanical issues and blew me off until I was stuck with the vehicle Unfortunately I have a life, and a job and cannot devote every minute driving miles to a dealership to hunt down someone to listen to, and take care of my problemI still have not recieved compensation for the Brakes, and in all actuality had they not avoided me I would most certainly have returned this vehicle and chose something elseIt has only 70k miles on it but has a different issue almost dailyLet me re-iterate, had I known all these issues existed, and I was not avoided, had service appt cancelled and given the run around, I would NEVER have accepted this vehicle, but would have returned it to West Herr and picked out a different vehicleAs of now the first month of ownership has cost me days of work and into the thousands in repairs, lost time and tires, brakes, etcI accepted the vehicle with minor INTERIOR cosmetic issues, I had NO CLUE it was going to be a daily problemThe items being fixed were items that I was assured would be, and only a couple items have been fixed, The wheel drive system and front axle, transfer case will cost THOUSANDS to fixi assure you, Had I known this would be a issue, I would not have accepted the vehicleand looked for anotherRegards, *** ***

We have reached out to Mr***, and invited him in to evaluate his concerns. In the spirit of customer satisfaction, we have replaced both front and rear brake pads. We believe that Mr*** is satisfied at this time

I would like to be placed in another vehicleI don't feel that they( west herr) did not look over the vehicle and sold it to me leaving me to make these repairs

I am sorry for the troubles that the *** encountered with the registration of their vehicle. The titling service we use in Pennsylvania-***, has processed all the paperwork. The ***'s have their plates, and need to go online through the Pennsylvania Department of

I would like a refund of 400$As I mentioned before I would pay 200$ which 100$ covers the deductable and the other 100$ for the oil change

We have met with the customer and reviewed all his paperwork and answered all of his questions we have also offered the customer to trade out of the vehicle into either a new vehicle or another used vehicle of his choice the customer at this point has decided to wait and hold on to
the vehicle that he purchased and is satisfied .Tell us why here

Mr*** had a service concern with his *** that he purchased from us in February 2015. I contacted him and set up a service appointment for him. Almost all of his concerns were covered under his extended service contract that he purchased. The one concern that wasn’t covered by Mr***’s extended service contract, West Herr covered the cost of in the spirit of customer satisfaction. Thus far, we feel Mr*** is satisfied with this resolution

Please update this complaint with the following: West Herr General Manager Stephen P*** reached out to me on the above complaint and an additional issue that arose after I filed the original complaintThe additional issue was promptly resolved to my satisfactionAfter discussing the original complaint I am convinced West Herr has resolved their issue with financing procedures and would recommend them to friends interested in purchasing a vehicle.
