I am not looking for a resolution as I no longer have my receipt but I have to share this! I purchased a clock Model# Wa few weeks ago! You can barely hear the alarm! The directions say nothing about volume adjustment! So I looked online and there are many complaints for the same issue but no replies! So I called La Crosse support and was on hold for several minutes before I was asked to leave my phone number for a callback! Over a week later I received a call and the support person after hearing my problem said "I believe I've heard of that,how are the batteries?" The clock is electric! Then she said "Did you set it on something soft,like a cloth?"" Try setting it on something metal and see if that helps! Then she suggested I take it back to Walmart and get a different clock! (no receipt) She then suggested that I try it before I buy it! As I was explaining the probability of me opening a sealed package and looking for an electrical outlet at Walmart,She hung up on me! I hope she doesn't quit her day job and gets fired from her night job!

I purchased a La Crosse Technology Wireless Forecast Station, Model588907with TX141TH-BvRemote Sensor, about three months ago at Sam’s Club in Brooksville Florida I was initially impressed by the backlight display panel readout The unit worked for approximately one month and lost the remote temperature/humidly reading
After downloading the manual and FAQ from their web site I tried the reboot instructions to restore factory defaults and it returned to operation In a few days it failed again and I again performed the Factory default setting restart and it began again to operate properly once again I did this four times until a month ago when it no longer responded to the default reset
I called the company support telephone number to get return for repair information and got a message to leave my name, the model I was calling about and telephone number and they would return the call It took two weeks to finally get a return call and the customer service was rude and abrupt with me The agent said they do not accept returns for repair on that model He was hung up on the batteries and their date! I repeated at least five times they were new batteries purchased this morning at Sam’s Club this morning He rudely kept repeating to call back when I got fresh batteries
I finally got the agent to advise on what could be done and he repeated the factory restart instruction from the FAQ which again did not work! In frustration I advised him I was going to notify the Revdex.com and Chamber of Commerce of my discontent and he responded go ahead, he did not care!! Great customer support The agent rudely stated he was going to hang up in three seconds, I told him don’t bother and hung up on him!
Apparently many people like this unit and are satisfied I may have gotten a lemon or unit with infant mortality, regardless; I would not recommend this nice looking piece of junk because the company does not back up their product or care to help with a problem Sam’s Club should find a more professional and responsive company for their stores*** ***’ *** *** *** ***

We have contacted the customer regarding their issue and sent out a replacement part

We have reached out to this customer and apologized for the error with his case that filed it instead of pushing it to our warranty department. We are sending the customers replacement out to him.

We contacted the customer and, as the model he had is discontinued, sent him a display from a new model.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Though the company says they did not see my two emails about warranty replacement (they received the previous emails about the problems so not sure why they did not receive emails asking for warranty replacement), they called me as soon as they received the Better Business Complaint from your office.  They immediately mailed me a new sensor and that fixed the problem I was having with the unit not working.  Issue resolved, case closed.

We misunderstood what the reported problem was and were waiting for a response if the troubleshooting suggestions had been unsuccessful.  We contacted the customer today and are replacing his clock.

We have reached out to the customer offering another replacement clock, which we are field testing here before sending it out to ensure that it is working properly. Changing the batteries does not cause the item to stop working but there is a particular restart that is needed when the...

batteries are changed.  There are also many atmospheric conditions that can contribute to this particular item not catching a signal right away, especially the further away from the source of the signal in Colorado.  The customer is on the east coast so it sometimes can take a bit to catch.We hope this has resolved the situation with the customer and apologize for the inconvenience.

We did reach out to this customer. There was a mis-communication in terms of what website the items needed to be registered with. The customer indicated that the items were already boxed up to be returned to the store. We would be happy to troubleshoot further should the customer wish.

We will send a call tag for the units the customer has and test them here to see what is the issue.  We will replace or exchange as needed.

La Crosse Technology does not respond to customer complaints and warranty issues.

They simply ignore complaints and warranty issues. Good luck trying to contact the comp

company on an warranty issue or a product that does not work. Their message system

says they always return phone calls. After leaving numerous messages for days, I have yet

to receive a return phone call.
