advertisement on their overstock site: ***
Nowhere on their site do they state that the site is exclusive to dealershipsI went through the entire process of purchasing a part, they collected my payment, only to have the order cancelled days laterThey stated that I needed to buy the part from my dealership

*** makes Lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep the best dealership to purchase a vehicle fromHe will not "sell" you a carHe gives you the facts, is absolutely transparant, and makes sure you are happy with your purchaseI have purchased three cars; and am now purchasing my fourth from Randy
In regards to his customer service I wanted to address something that a lot of people seem to attribute to the dealership; when in fact, it is not an issue at allThis would be the paint; specifically the black or dark colored paints on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep cars and trucksI purchased a black ChallengerThe paint had, what I would call, spider webs and swirls that show in the direct sunlightI thought that this was the fault of the dealership when they took deliveryPerhaps they wiped it down with a dirty rag, etcSince investigating this and viewing this on many cars; Chrysler and others...almost all dark (especially black) cars have this issue...If you can call it an issue at allThis comes from the factory this way and is just something to be aware of when purchasing a dark or black vehicle
In regards to Lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealing with this when I purchased my first car from them...*** went out of his way to make me comfortable with my vehicle purchaseHe showed me this "issue" with other cars and we came to the conclusion that Black color was not for me
For the price and customer service, Lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep is the best place to buy a vehicle...hands down

I received a defective vehicle and they will not respond or repair the issue I have had to take it elsewhere after months of being ignored
I purchased a $38,new Dodge Challenger At the very first oil change (only miles) I was informed that my car had serious rust and corrosion issues on the under carriage When asked what they would do to fix this issue they said they were not going to do anything. We were told it was not a warranty issue We agree totally, it was DEFECTIVE when we received itI was given info to file with Corporate Dodge Customer Care Center if I wished to file a case After weeks of waiting on phones and not having our calls returned I was eventually told they would fix my issue under their "Good-Will Policy" After several more weeks of waiting and calling we were told to take the vehicle to their "Body Shop" where they would do a part process to remove rust and coat with an inhibitor We took our car for what we were told would be a two day rep

I am very disappointed with my experience at the dealership I went in primarily to see a specific vehicle that was advertised onlineAfter contacting the dealer on Car Gurus and getting an email from Amy saying the Jeep Renegade was in stock, I decided to call the dealer -just in case- after seeing the reviews that sometimes the vehicle was not in stock On the phone, Crystal said it was available and set up an appointment for the morning
Then in the morning, I asked about the vehicle via text and nothing was said about it being unavailable When I got there, the salesman said the Jeep needed parts that were on order I should have left then, but I was already there, and I test drove a couple vehicles The sales manager tried two times to convince me to take home a car I didn't like He said I could show it to my husband to discuss it, but I knew I would then have to return Then he said they would try to find me a vehicle I liked So I asked about the Renegade, and the manager said the Jeep was missing a part that had been on back order for a month I wish they had just told me that on the phone or via email rather than getting me to come in under pretenses I feel like it was a bait and switch I did not like these sales tactics and will not return

Bought vehicle from dealership my sister cosigned however she made it clear other than doing that she wanted nothing more to do with it I am the one making all payments as well as paying the insurance My name appears first on the contract but all the mail regarding the vehicle comes in her name in addition to that the decal for renewing the tag is in her name I tried to resolve this matter and was told the finance company should do it then was told to go to the DMV they agraaaeed the decal should indeed reflect my birthday as my name is first on the contract but was told to go back to the dealership with a printed paper telling them to fix it it was their mistake I returned to the dealership and was assured it would indeed be handled in a timely manner I do not have the last name of the woman who promised it would be fixed her first name is Melanie I have waiting for any contact from someone for well over a week with no word I was told I could expect results in a couple of days this ha

The alternator on my Dodge Durango caught on fire causing the vehicle to stall and also destroyed my Diehard battery that was not a year oldI had the vehicle towed to Dodge as I found there was a recent recall placed on the alternator in this model truck
A dodge employee advised me that the alternator caused my battery to die, however Dodge refused to cover the battery cost & ask me to pay them $to replace itI didn't but got a new battery from *** by exchanging my old one for itI brought the new battery to Dodge, the fix the alternator, but charged me for shop supplies when the only supplies used was the battery I gave them & what ever needed for the recall which should be freeDodge also charged me for environmental fees to get rid of my old battery, which was given to ***
While my vehicle was in repair they wouldn't give a rental right away but agreed to reimburse me once they confirmed it was the recall that caused this problem, which they did and yet I

Deceptive and Unethical Business Practice by Dealer EmployeesBad FaithPulled my credit report for a deal we had in writing then you retract deal!
I started an internet quote request for a Dodge Durango Memorial weekend I had received other quotes from other dealers and followed up an email to Lacey w/Lakeland Dodge who is internet salesI provided her with an offer I received from a different dealer and she said they would see if they could do anything for me to beat itAfter multiple emails and text messages which all included a deal for a lease@mo, 15k miles per year, $1k down and a check for $to pay my remaining lease payments we finally agreed to $517/mo on 6/8/She stated in order to get the vehicle from a sister dealer her sales manager required that they pull a credit appI was hesitant not because my score would not be in the top tier but that dealers usually do shady business and I did not want to have a hit on my credit unless we actually had a

three years ago I have issues with my transmission and I'm told it needs to be replaced after fighting and fighting with these people they agree to get the warranty company to change itYou know warranty companies always try to say everything before they cover somethingWell that was a big ordeal so I make sure I get in writing what they told meWell three years later the" new" transmission goes out againI take it back and tell them that the new transmission should have lasted longer if it was really put inThe advisor first looks at it and tries telling me it's gonna be 4k blah blah blah blah and I mention this paper work I have clearly saying they garuntee the transmission for years 100k milesHe looks at the documentation on his end and tells me this is very sketchy and he'll call me backAfter going back and forth with him and the director of th

We purchased a Jeep Patriot from this dealership and took delivery on September 5, Temporary license tag was issued and we were told that the regular plates would be sent to us in about two weeks If not, they could extend the time for another days Toda, November th we still do not have the plates and the registration is expired My wife went to the dealership yesterday to clear up the situation and was treated like an ie by the building manager, Kyle They gave her an application for registration and tried to tell her it was the same as the registration She knew better but they assured her that she was wrong The big problem was that our granddaughter was scheduled to take her drivers test that afternoon My wife and granddaughter went to the DMV for the test and presented the expired registration and the new handwritten application and were told that she could not take the test because of the expired registration and that the handwritten application was not valid just as my wife tried to tell MrKnow if all Kyle So the test had to be rescheduled but we still do not have a valid registration or permanent plates I had to call seven times before I could talk to a person after being transferred Finally a person named Jeff answered and said he understood the problem and would take care of it Obviously that did not happen This is not the only problem we have had After signing all of the paperwork and leaving, we were called about a week later and asked to come back because they forgot to have us sign a document which we did Also, because our previous vehicle did not have an antenna we did not notice that the new one was missing even though the new vehicle checklist showed that it had been installed This made a third trip back The salesman, William J*** was very nice and helpful but other than him we were not treated very well

Credit hits on both mine and my husbandsDid not even approve this
My husband and I decided to look into getting a new vehicle so we looked at lakeland dodgeWe told the man we did NOT want a hard hit on our credit unless he was sure we could work a deal outWe were told by the salesman that he would pull our credit as a soft hit so that we could see where we were and what we could doAfter pulling our credit he asked us what we were interested in, we picked a car, now we still had to crunch the numbersWe figured out what we could handle as far as down payment and monthly payments and the man said he would talk to the finance manager to see if he thought we would be approved(Did not say anything about sending the numbers out to banks) After about minutes the man said he couldn't make the deal per the finance manager's calculation our downpayment would be to small and the bank wouldn't take the offerNow three days after going our credit is hit with TEN yes TEN different c
