Hi,This is in response to the case # 12165709, we do see in our records that the customer bought services from one of our resellers on 23rd March, for $217.50.We have received multiple calls from our existing customers who claim to have received calls from people pretending to be Virus Eraser
Incand we request our customers not to entertain such callsSince we were associated with multiple resellers, they have good database for Virus Eraser IncHence, we are not liable of the practice they are following because there is no way to take the data back from themWe sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Hi,This is in reference to the complaint filed by *** ***.It could be possible that the customer called for some computer related issue and reached our reseller and after her consent the payment of $was charegdAll the proper guidelines were followed before processing the payment and
without customer's permission or authorization no charges can be processedIn case customer was not happy and was looking for a refund, she would have called the same number and might have asked for refund and it would have been done from our endThe delay in refund might be caused because the bank was contacted first, the money goes on hold and then we do not have any authorization to refund the sameAlthough as per our records we have processed the refund of the complete $from our end and it should have been there in her account with 5-business daysKindly contact your bank once to see if it appears in your account, just in case there is a problem you can get back to us and we will be glad to help in resolving the query. I am rejecting this response because:Affiliate partners in promoting your product by using a bait and switch tactic to sell your product should be a concern to youIf you notice on the contract that he supposedly signed, the name of the broker is not listed, only "Virus Eraser" is listedIn the contract it list's *** ***" as the affiliate company as well as the consumer in the contractThis in my estimation is an effort to hide their identity or to make virus eraser solely responsible.Regardless, the contract should be null and void as it does not state all parties clearly and their roles in the contractThe consumer is the only name listed other than "Virus Eraser"If it is an affiliate that is selling your product, they should be listed as wellPlease see attached copy

Hi,This is in response to the case # 11815690, the customer contacted one of our resellers in regards to some computer issue (Blue Screen) and he was offered support along with Virus Eraser Antivirus software which was included in the plan that the customer was offeredWe see that the customer has
paid $for - 'VMAK "Virus Removal" Computer Support with Virus Eraser Antivirus Software Computer Year' on 3rd of May, We apologise for the inconvenience caused but Virus Eraser do not call the customers even if they remove the product, if possible please provide the phone number from which you received the call and we will try our best to track that downAlso, Virus Eraser do not keep any card information of the customers as per our quality guidelines. I am rejecting this response because: If and when I see a credit on my credit card from this company, I will reconsider. However, I did not contact this company first...my computer was hijacked; There was a sudden blue screen and a written and audio message that my computer was hacked or had a virus and that I should call the phone number listed immediately. This message was given constantly and urgently. When I called the number and asked how they knew my computer was hacked, they said windows defender notified them. They supposedly loaded Virus eraser on my computer, but when I checked this morning, only a trial version was installed and the "key" I was given to register did not work. All of this leads me to believe that I was scammed...what else is there to believe?*** * ***

I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to a representative named *** from virus eraser on 8-21-and she said I will receive the new check within 5-days and tomorrow will be8-29-and I have not received any check yet--I can not believe the president and owner of the company -virus eraser wrote me a check the was frozen from wells fargo bankI am sure Mr*** *** the president can afford a check for $200.00 and now the new check is for $212.00. I called now times to get my refund--seems very suspicious and difficult to get a refund form this companyAlso it seems very odd that the president and owner of the company would call me personally for this refund ?????? I believe this is a scam from this company, since the end of May of 2017---other than the frozen check I still have not received my check of 212.00. If the new check is also frozen after I cash the check it will cost me another $in penalty fees--which I do not want to do--the first check made me not feeling they are in complicance with having valid checks for refunds. Any suggestions on how to get my $back without having to cash a check again which may not be valid?????? Any help will be greatly appreciated---I was thinking having the virus eraser send me a money order if that is a possibility--Help Thank you *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:i did receive a call upon removal of Virus Eraser on Nov 11, from ***There was no conversation re the purpose of the call as I was upset by the apparent scam by Virus Eraser and expressed displeasure and hung up and placed a call block and terminated my visa through my bank. I am not seeking any compensation other than to draw attention to their questionable business practices
