I am rejecting this response because: After not receiving the first two checks that were allegedly sent to me, I am inclined to believe that no check was ever sent.  I am extremely disappointed at the lack of attention to this issue by Virus Eraser.  I would like someone to please get to the bottom of this asap.Please provide me with proof of these alleged payments, how they were sent, where they were sent, traching number, etc.  I assume you somehow track your mail whether it's thru [redacted], etc.  I would like to have my private investigator look further into who recevied these checks.   You guys should have my bank account number from the check of mine that you cashed.  I would like to please request that you issue my refund directly into my bank account via electronic check.  Please contact me asap. [redacted]

Hi,This is in reference to the complaint #[redacted].First of all, we would like to say that Virus Eraser do not put/place any unsoliciated virus on customers computer, it could be possible that the customer reached our one of resellers and as an option Virus Eraser Antivirus Software was offered to...

the customer and after proper confirmation the order was  placed.  All the proper guidelines were followed before processing the payment and without customer's permission or authorization no charges can be processed. As we can see that customer is looking for a refund of her money per the desired settlement. But as mentioned in the comment there is a dispute which has been filed which puts the money on hold. The money is no longer available with Virus Eraser/Reseller anymore, if the dispute was not filed we would have been able to close the concern in case customer was not ready to continue with the services; we will have to wait for any update from bank's end to proceed further in resolving the issue.Thank you.Regards,Team Virus Eraser

Regarding complaint ID [redacted], I want to report that Virus Erase  has credited a $700 refund to my credit card, as they stated they would do; however, I question the method they used to get me to purchase their product.  I computer was hijacked by someone, and I was not able to close it out or turn it off, even by unplugging from power source ( it is a laptop)until I called the phone # shown at the bottom of the screen, at which time I was connected to Virus Erase.  This seems to me a questionable way to do business, and virus Erase should investigate how this could happen in a reputable business.  As for me, I am satisfied with the results of my report to the Revdex.com.Thank You,[redacted]

Please call up your bank and give them the Transaction ID : 506033258 and they will be able to trace the refund which was processed from our side.   I have received another check from Virus Eraser on Friday 15th of 2017.. I cashed the check at my bank hoping it will not be another check that will bounce like the first check..If this second check bounces what will be my next option with this company????

I am rejecting this response because: I wish to keep the case open until the credit card company has settled on the dispute. I wish to clarify that virus-eraser (or one of its affiliates) made unsolicited contact with my mother. She did not reach out to anyone regarding a computer virus.

I am rejecting this response because: Virus Eraser said they would give me a FULL refund. To date, the transactions to my credit are as follows:  on April 10, 2016, Virus Eraser charged $607.50 to my credit card and ALSO on the same date charged $217.50 to my credit card. On April 11, 2016, Virus Eraser credited $607.50 back to me however, the $217.50 has NOT been credited.

Virus Eraser helped you fix the issue of the computer and agreed to provide the support for next 1 year. We understand you did not want us to cash the check but the scan copy of the check was already in the system and the bank cashed it. We sent out a check as for the refund, as acheduled, the entire process takes 15-20 business days. As per your email, we see you have not received the check. I am rejectinThey are the murchant and why haven't they sent me my check? We are sveral weeks past there promise of a refund. I now wish FULL refund as they failed to provide the service they promised and I was willing to do my part and helping to bring this matter to a close. They have nothiung past asking for me to accept their idea for a refund and they have failed to even make good on the $700.00 refund , I now want the full price of $1425.00

I am rejecting this response because: the people that I talked to told me they were techs from the company and would be able to install and erase all viruses.  I feel that the tech support has hacked my information and hurting my computer. Along with the virus protection because I now have another supposed virus on my computer and when I call the your virus company the gentleman told me there is nothing he can do about it

I am rejecting this response because: I contacted my bank on  6/20/16, they have no record or any pending transactions of the 6/02/16 refund from virus eraser.  I still have not received the refund.Thank you
