CID# [redacted] This customer was contacted by our Phoenix Area Manager and advised customer was aware of the issue and elected to reinstall the shield himselfThe protective shield had damage prior to service as it is necessary to remove each oil change to clean the oil from that areaThis is the 1st time seeing the vehicle for Brake Masters and do not have past history on the vehicleAs a gesture of good-will Brake Masters will reinstall the shield at no cost if customer will provide the partTimothy

Thank you for forwarding to us the complaint of our customer, [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] is a valued customer and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaintIt is and always has been Brake Masters® policy to correct any deficiencies that have occurred in repairing and/or servicing a customer's vehicle.Furthermore, Brake Masters® has always tried to satisfy all its customers when they have experienced a problemBrake Masters appreciates the efforts the Revdex.com makes in helping us to resolve complaints, and we believe we have addressed the concerns that Mr [redacted] has and we do not feel that any refund is entitled.1-24-2013, Brake Masters completes a basic brake service to include new front pads and resurfacing the front rotorsMr [redacted] declined services to replace front hardware and clean and adjust rear brakesThe vehicle is a Nissan Sentra with miles.5-15-2015, the same vehicle is brought in to our location because the brakes are grindingA brake inspection is completed and Brake Masters recommends front pads, hardwareMr [redacted] approves those servicesThe pads carry a lifetime warrantyand the customer is responsible for any additional parts such as hardware andthe labor to repairThe mileage on the vehicle is 87463.Brake Masters shows no records of Mr [redacted] returning because of any concernsThe vehicle was driven over 27,miles and over years.Please see attached invoices and Brake Masters warrantiesUnder the terms of our warranty Mr [redacted] is liable for the labor and the hardware to service his vehicleAt this time no refund will be granted as we have honored our warranty [redacted] [redacted] CustomerService Manager

Customer has been contacted by our [redacted] Area Manager and is currently working on a resolution[redacted]

After reviewing the documentation the dealer recommended the same service as we did. They did not replace the brake pads and recommended rotors. This customer also has filed a concern with the [redacted] Brake Masters stands behind our warranties. Please see attached warranty information. At this point we will not issue any refund.

The Area Manager would like to meet with Mr [redacted] and go over the concerns

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The vehicle had to be taken in three times to find the problem that was initially reported to Brake Masters Each time coincidentally finding a new problem that was NOT found on their first inspection and repair, nor on their second inspection of finding something NEW wrong! Clearly Brake Masters is out to continue finding problems as long as a customer continues to pay exorbitant prices To have had ALL corrected that they "found" was to be two thousand dollars!! They couldn't fix the problem the first time in, they couldn't fix the problem the second time in and they assured us that for $dollars in addition they could take care of the calipers on all four wheels and hopefully would find the problem that third time in!DOES ANYONE SEE A PROBLEM HERE?The response by Brake Masters is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and a spit in the face to both me as a now PRIOR customer and to the Revdex.com which is set up to clean up shady business practices such as this business does! I guess I am confusedMrM*** spoke to the customer and she is getting a complete refund plus for her timeCheck to be sent out on12/16/

Brake Masters find no work related services under this person nameWe did however locate the information under a different customerDue to privacy restraints we can not release that nameThe work that was performed is under warranty and can be brought into any Brake Masters location in the state
of Arizona or any other locationPlease see the back of your invoice for warranty information that applies to your vehicle

First, I was not contacted by Phoenix Area ManagerI got his number from the shop after a long argument with the shop manager, since in shop manager's words, "He cannot deal with this st right now"I called the Area Manager regarding the issue and even though he said he will call me back, he did notI had to call him back in order to inquire about the situationAt the end of that conversation, I was called a liar and he rejected any responsibility on their side. Moreover, the shop manager swore a lot when I was there, and no one from Brake Masters seems to care about it, which makes me question the work ethic of Brake Masters. Second, I did not "elect" to reinstall the shield myselfI reinstalled the shield myself, since the shop refused to install it backIt was raining the next day, and it was not safe to drive the car without the shieldTherefore, I had to reinstall the shield myself to ensure the safety of the car. As I explained several times earlier, it was NOT necessary to remove the protective shield for performing the oil changeI had my oil changed at various shops specializing in European cars and none of them removed the shieldMoreover, the manufacturer's repair guide does not recommend removing the shield eitherThe protective shield is called "Serpentine belt protective cover" (SKU: ***), and as the name suggests it has nothing to do with an oil changeBrake Masters decided to remove the protective shield on their own without consulting with meIf they did not know how to properly perform an oil change on my car, they should have warned me and I would choose another shop. Since the shield is already installed and in working condition, I do not accept Brake Masters's suggestionI had to correct their mistake myself and therefore I am requesting a refund or compensation of the time I had to spend for reinstalling the shield

M*** called me on 11/3/at 11:02am explaining that the store mgr was out until "Tuesday next week" and Terry himself would be out of town until Tuesday alsoHe stated " but would it be possible to call you next week to sa time to come look at the vehicle." I was happy that they were willing to come to my address, but none of this happenedTerry did not call me, Rocky did not call meOn 11/9/at 9:24am a gentlemen saying his name is Wae (sp?) describing himself as "the other manger" called me while I was at a doctors offic appointment (not medical issue) to say Terry was still out of town and had asked him to call meI asked this manager if they (Brake Masters) were going to make it out today to look at the truck and he said noAfter my appointment I drove into Brake Masters parking lot, walkd into the store to see Rocky the manager was indeed back in the storeI am very disappointed that when I submitted a Revdex.com complaint, Terry seemed genuine that they wanted to fix this, but no further attempts beyond that initial call were made to actually fi my truck

2nd request for the customer to send us any sort if invoices

The customer needs to submit the invoice from the dealer stating of wrong doing on Brake Masters part. Please submit the invoice to my fax 520-843-2791
