Review: My boyfriend and I purchased a deal from Lifebooker last year for a $199 boudoir photo shoot. The deal expires sometime this month but the business is willing to honor it until whenever I use it. However, the business only offers the shoots on weekdays. This point was nowhere in the small print before purchasing or we would not have purchased it as we do not have any vacation days for the rest of this year (we took a big trip prior). I've reached out to Lifebooker multiple times and they have just said that there are no refunds once a deal closes. They are also very slow to respond. I've been going back and forth with them for weeks now. I understand this no refund policy for a normal situation but, in this case, it's an error on their part for not including exact details of a deal so the consumer can be well informed before purchasing. That's like forgetting to mention that you can only redeem your deal at 2 PM on a Wednesday.Desired Settlement: All I'd like is a refund so that I can go purchase a shoot from somewhere else.

Review: On 12/**/15, I purchased two pain-free Brazilian waxes for $39 at Beauty and Youth Spa in New York City. (Loot #: [redacted] through Lifebooker Loot Deals.

When I visited the business on Wednesday, 12/**, they told me that I cannot redeem this loot or use the certificate because it was for NEW CLIENTS ONLY. They advised that I should contact Lifebooker and request a refund, since this offer was not valid.

I have tried MULTIPLE times to contact the business both via the phone listed on their website, as well as via email. Not one person has responded to me and it has been over a month. I am very unhappy with this type of service and would like my refund back!Desired Settlement: I would like someone from the business to contact me and refund my money.

Review: I bought a deal through Lifebooker to receive four laser hair removal treatments from Voila Skin Spay in New York City. I was burned terrible by Voila Skin Spa. Since I purchased the deal through Lifebooker, I had to reach out to them to get money back for my deal. They refuse to give me money back until I go back to Voila and [redacted]. These technicians are not doctors and I feel like the suggestion of going there to do this was absolutely terrible. Lifebooker told me that this is the only option to get my money back.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded for the sessions of laser hair removal that I did not use.

Review: I bought a voucher from Lifebooker LLCfor a haircut shampoo and blowdry - for $30 and they are in jersey city. this is good through no 27. I realize the [redacted] owns [redacted]- where I bought a haircut voucher 6 moths ago- immeidately after I called to make appt- the [redacted] was very rude- he id himself as [redacted] and said there were no appts for voucher cut for four months- I immedoiately cancelled the voucher. I realize I cannot at th\is time travel to nj for a hair cut and cannot use the voucher. I called Lifebooker and explained to [redacted]- my situation - I bought this voucher several months ag. Se said the company offers no refunds and stated it 10 times- I said that is inflexible- even though I bought the voucher a few months ago- things change and I cannot use it or travel to nj where the salon is located. lifebooker uses very flash ads which induce impulse buying. so this si not fair infact it is criminal- to take money and offer no refund whatsover if one finds they cannot use the voucher- [redacted] gives refund [redacted] gives refund lifebooker is criminal- they dont care if they just took your money and give nothing- I demand they refund the entire amount as that is life and this voucher does not work for me.Desired Settlement: I want the money I paid in full back to my credit card $35 restored

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a Lifebooker coupon for a service through Lifebooker, and immediately scheduled an appointment through the merchant ("Skin and Body Care by Morgana") whose service was advertised. I received an email from Lifebooker confirming the appointment date and time, which was identical to the date and time I had requested. Two days passed, and the merchant contacted me the day before the scheduled appointment and cancelled the appointment. She explained that the appointment was only a "tentative" appointment, which she had to confirm. The email I received from Lifebooker was misleading, because the subject line of the email said, "Appointment Booked!" Either Lifebooker is being misleading about its booking process and options available to customers purchasing merchant coupons, OR the merchant Skin and Body Care by Morgana is being dishonest by agreeing to sell coupons for reduced services, but not honoring appointments from customers who purchased them. This incident resulted in me being unable to book a similar appointment with another merchant, and it cost me 109.00, which has not been refunded despite 3 separate requests to Lifebooker. Rather than calling me to resolve the problem, Lifebooker sent a generic email without a phone number for me to respond to directly. When I requested an update on Lifebooker's efforts to resolve the problem, I did not receive a response.Desired Settlement: I want an immediate refund to my credit card in the amount of 109.00. I also want an apology from Lifebooker, and for Lifebooker or Skin and Body Care by Morgana to resolve this situation between them so that another merchant does not have the same experience I did - being too short on time to book a new appointment, and meanwhile finding it impossible to resolve the problem through Lifebooker or the merchant.

Review: I bought a Lifebooker loot for $250 for ONE YEAR OF LASER HAIR REMOVAL FROM BIOSKINERGY. But when I went to do my treatment I realize that the machine was not a laser machine it was a IPL machine. And IPL and laser are two different things I have done IPL treatments in the past and had no results cause those machine does not work on my hair or skin color. The IPL machines burns my skin. I had asked if these were truly laser and they said yes when after doing my research I found out that was a lie. Lifebooker needs to put clearly on their site that the advertised packages for hair reduction will not be done with laser. they need to specify the type of machine being used. They lie and even on the package they were not clear that laser were not going to be used. And I'm not dumb lasers you don't use a gel on my skin. I feel robbed and want my money back or a chance to find a place that use real lasers.Desired Settlement: I want my money back I will be buying a different package from Lifebooker for a truly laser hair removal from an accredited business that uses Lasers not IPLs
