Listing Referral Group Reviews (%countItem)

What a scam. We paid for them to call leads, with us supplying names & phone numbers of expired and canceled listings. The deal was that they would provide 10 listings for a $5000 upfront fee and a 10% referral. But I'm not sure they actually ever called the listings we supplied. Instead, they periodically sent names/numbers for for sale by owners, most of whom were well outside the areas we serve. One of them was a 2-3 hour drive away! We were upfront with the sales rep during our discussion of whether to work with them and told him that there weren't a lot of expired or canceled listings in our market area. They said not to worry because they would also call in geographic areas with names/numbers we supplied. Again, I don't know if they ever made the phone calls to any of those numbers. When we asked for a refund, they were nasty about it and blamed us. We will be enlisting the assistance of an attorney but please if you're considering working with this company, do yourself a favor and run in the other direction.

In January of 2018, I signed a contract with Listing Referral Group to place calls to For Sale By Owner and Expired property listings in order to set appoints for me as a Realtor® and Listing Agent. They collected $5000 from me for these services. I contacted them several times late in the year because I was not receiving appts all of the sudden. I finally spoke with Bryan *** and he said that Meg, my appointed sales person left the company and he would look into what was happening w my account. Over the next few months I made calls, texts and emails to the company with no answer.
Here are all of the contact emails and phone numbers I have been trying.

was missing deadline submissions when sending in her lists. She had fallen out of our schedule for this reason. She has been in touch with our Client Manager and is back in the schedule. The most recent referral we sent was on 3/18/2019.

Bryan *** admitted that Meg lsft the company and that is why I was not getting service. During this time, other agent using this system experienced the same lack of service. I have called him several times since reaching him once and he has never called me back. I have emailed every contact that I had with the company, in order to get this issue resolved, not once did anyone ever reply. It was though the company was out of business. Below are more posts regarding this issue.

You have the downloads of all of my call list emails. They are flat out not telling the truth and Bryan *** knows it. They need to be refunding these exorbanant fees they charged and did not honor the contract.
Thank you !

Regards

I was solicited by this company to purchase their listing appointment service. The fee was for $5,000 to be paid by check only via a fed ex delivery. Their agreement was to schedule qualified appointments with For Sale by Owner and Expired listing homeowners. Each appointment would be charged against the $5,000 at a rate of $500/qualified signed listing agreement. Their agreement states that if not satisfied after 6 months, I would be eligible for a refund.
The company did attempt to schedule appointments, but they were not qualified and ready to buy. Each appointment was for a For Sale By Owner who agreed to work with me if I brought a buyer. None were prepared to list with an agent. This is not what was promised. After 6 months I requested a refund, and the company has ignored my calls. I sent a certified letter on January 17 which was also ignored. This company did not deliver a single qualified appointment. I spoke to them several times about this and now they are ignoring my request for them to fulfill their contract obligations.

We have reviewed the complaint submitted by one of our partners. We would like to respond to thiscomplaint and all others made regarding our organization. It is simple. We prospect For Sale By Owner and Expired Listings for real estate agents. Mostof them can take listings and get them sold, which is what we count on for the referral fees, inwhich case we develop lasting relationships. The appointments that we set can be slam dunklistings or they can be difficult people and situations where an agent needs to make a greatpresentation and give great advice in order to get the listings sold. The complaints that you are receiving are only are one side of the story. We communicate witheach client on their complaint and will continue to do so in an effort to fill their order so we canboth move on.Again, it is simple:If they take listings they are happy. If they don't take listings, they blame us not themselves.Mr. claims the leads aren't any good- well, the fact is that 70% of the leads listed withother agents in the market after we sent them his way.A big issue with Mr. account is that he didn't send us his call list by the scheduledeadline. (This call list ensures that we call only Expired/ FSBO sellers in areas and price rangesthat our partners want referrals in. We get a call list on the 1st and the 15th of each month fromeach partner. If we get their list we call for them during that two week period. Very simple).Mr. has been with us a year but we have not received numbers to call for every deadlinewhich means he is requesting to be removed. Just from this September moving forward: he waslate for the 9/1 deadline, didn't send anything for the 9/15 deadline, sent 1 Oil but was late againfor 10/15 and then didn't send anything until mid-February of this year. The bottom line is we are not in full control of the program's success. More of that control lieswith our agent partner. They send us a list - we call - we send the opportunity. The rest is up tothem. The satisfaction guarantee is something they are eligible for if they are consistentlysending numbers and communicating feedback which Mr. did not do. We are happy tocontinue prospecting on his behalf if he is ready to work the motivated sellers we are getting himin contact with. All the best,Cheri

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This company does not deliver what they promised. I diligently sent them my lists of expired and For Sale By Owner leads, until the point that each lead was the same type of appointment. It was an agent preview of the for sale by owner home. That is a recognized losing time waster for most agents in this industry. I did not receive a single expired lead. At the point that the leads were deemed to be worthless, my motivation to provide them with the lists on a timely basis no longer became a priority for my business. It was simply a waste of time. As with most lead companies, they like to blame the agent's failure to convert. I am one of the top agents in my market and I convert FSBO and expired listings every day to sales from my own prospecting. My capability is not in question. It is the quality of training this company provides their inside sales agents to convert a qualified seller who would like to list is the issue. The contract does not state that you can cancel only if you continue to send the lead lists. It says you may cancel and receive a refund if you are not satisfied. Simply, I am not satisfied and they did not deliver the goods.

Complete rip off. I am trying to get my money back. I am suppose to get 2-3 referrals a week and have heard from them once since November. Total scam!!

We paid them $5000 to get us 1-2 listing appointment per week. They did not secure one single appointment for us. They sent us bogus leads of people who had their home listed for sale by owner that DID NOT want to speak to an agent. We also had to subscribe to Land Voice which was another `$1500 as part of their package. They are a total failure. Denied any kind of refund. Implied we did not know what we were doing. We have 32 years combined experience as a 2 agent team and 165 5-star reviews closing almost 100 deals every year. We should have researched them more as we would have realized that they were a scam. Shame on us.

As stated in the agreement "SPECIAL TERMS: If after 6 months client is not satisfied with service, they will be eligible for a refund." Three of the 6 months Listing Referral Group, Inc fallen short to meet what was agreed upon in the LISTING REFERRAL GROUP PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT " All packages are based on 1 to 2 referrals per week except the Platinum package which is 3 to 4 ". September 2018 3 leads, November 2018 0 leads and December 2018 2 leads. Also, several leads that were provided were not viable due to the poor vetting process and poor follow up with requested outcomes of calling campaigns.

We have reviewed the complaint submitted by one of our partners and here is our response. We partner with real estate professionals whereas we prospect and send referrals with home-owners thatare actively trying to sell their home and our partners agree to secure listing agreements by makingpresentations to and being hired by those home-owners.The complaint that you received is only one side of the story. We have set over 20,000 appointments for our partners and they have made millions of dollarslisting and selling homes for a home seller that we connect them with. For the *** - wesent 26 referrals. Now we don't expect them to list and sell them all but their side of the-·arrangemenris that they agree they will provide feedback on all referrals sent and they will listand sell. An average agent in our schedule is listing 1 out of every 4 that we send. Should theyhave done that we would be sitting at 6-7 Closed listings with this partner. Even 1 or 2 wouldhave gotten them the return on their investment. They did not provide feedback in real time nordid they take any listings. The bottom line is that the partners that do their part and take listings are happy. If they don't take listings, they blame us, not themselves, for not doing their job which is gettingthe home seller to hire them.*** and I spoke in January. I shared with him that over 1/2 of the referrals that we sent himended up listing and selling with other agents in the market after we sent his way. Actually 13 ofthe 26 were listed and sold or are currently listed. 50% were viable. The eligibility is based onthe agent doing their part. We are happy to continue calling but there is no refund available. They stopped sending numbers to call as of our 2/15 deadline. We are ready, willing and able toresume prospecting on their behalf when they are.Sincerely,Cheryl ***President, Listing Referral Group, Inc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I have attached the agreement that was executed by LRG, Inc and CRG, cancellation letter and email chains showing the real time feedback that was requested by LRG, Inc. (there are more, but the file would've been to large to attach). You can see we did a significant amount of follow up on the leads they provided. They were correct saying that some of the leads they provided ended up listing with an agent, however as you can see in the feedback provided we would not know due to the lack of response from those leads. The one's that did respond with them using another agent was conveyed on the initial call of that lead. Some of the leads also ended up being owner/agent. As it states in the agreement LRG, Inc to provide 1-2 leads per week at which 3 of the first 6 months they failed to do. Also it states if after 6 months client is not satisfied with service, they will be eligible for a refund. Please review the documents attached.

I know I’ve been somewhat back and forth between optimistic and disappointed in this service and after a month of only receiving one lead at this point its apparent that this partnership has been a waste of both of our time, money, and resources.

There was a submission in October where I sent over expired, and geo lead data, keeping the FSBO data to myself because there were only 8-10 numbers and I didnt see the value in paying some one else to make those 10 calls for me. As I’ve said before I was told this service was useful for more than just FSBO’s.

Out of those 8-10 numbers I set 4 FSBO appointments in that 2 weeks and have since listed 3 of them. 1 closed today. I also set 1 expired appointment from the same data source. It was under the minimum price range filter I had set for the data I send to your team (<$89,000)

Since I received no leads from LRG in those two weeks I felt the only way I would see a return on my investment was to continue sending LRG all of the FSBO numbers even lowering the minimum price range to $80,000 and expanding the geographic area to about a 45 minute radius from my office.

60% of my business has been from FSBO and Expireds. After finishing the year 5 listings under the goal that I had been on track to surpass the first 7-8 months of the year it’s evident this change has done more harm than good.

In addition to the $1,500 cost for LRG’s service I’ve also spent upwards of $300 on Redx subscriptions for data that was only used by LRG resulting in no ROI.

Your company’s guarantee was 1-2 appointments per week on average and 3 closed listings. I have not received either of those so I am again asking for a full refund and cancellation of service. I understand that your company has spent money on salaries to your prospectors while making these calls. I can only speculate on the actual number of hours spent to produce 14 “leads”, however, your employees salary was not part of our contract, the results were, and you failed to produce them. In real estate we are only as good as our contracts and a seller showing up to a closing with no deed and no keys gets no check. I don’t see our arrangement as being any different.

terrible company, lied, refused to honor the contract, didn't do anything but set up useless appointments.

We signed up with Listing Referral Group a little over a year ago, and were guaranteed 10 listings in exchange for $5000 up-front payment and a referral fee for each closing. The company provided a few leads out of the gate, but we haven't received anything in over 4 months and at this point we cannot even get a return phone call or acknowledgement of sent emails.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After my initial complaint to Revdex.com, I finally received a call from Bryan S. of Listing Referral Group. He advised that our previous account representative Meg was out for maternity. I explained that we had been on their program for more than a year and had not been provided with the results that were guaranteed to us. From the beginning, we were provided leads that oftentimes were from areas we do not service. We told Listing Referral Group over and over the areas we worked and asked that their efforts on our behalf be focused on our service areas.I also find it disturbing that they try to put the blame back onto us, saying that we missed a deadline for list submission in October and that is why leads weren't being provided. At the time we missed the October deadline, we had already been with the program for MORE THAN A YEAR, WITH NO RESULTS. We had originally requested a refund back in November of 2017. I am attaching a file with copies of email correspondences with Listing Referral Group, going back to the time we began our relationship with the service. You can see we were never provided with the service nor the results that we contracted for. At this point, we continue to pursue a refund.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards

When an agent isn't providing ample numbers to call we will pull a list for them of For Sale By Owners in the County they work. We let them know if the referrals are ever too far away or in an area they don't work to simply disqualify them and we will continue our effort. They are also free to refer out to another agent they may know in the area and that can be their referral fee to keep.

We just prospect. For the agents that understand how to convert FSBO and EXP referrals, they are listing and selling and making a huge return on investment. For other agents, it takes longer as they are not aggressively pursuing every referral. The reality is over 1/2 of what we send list and sell in the market. It's up the each individual agent to act as the agent and get those listings. We can't do that for them. We send the referrals, they have agreed to list and sell. If an agent is not doing the things necessary to see succeed it doesn't work or it takes longer to fulfill. Sending the numbers consistently, providing feedback on every referral and having the skill-set to convert is the recipe for success. We will not offer a refund in Ms. case but again are happy to continue calling on her behalf should she wish to get back in our call schedule.
