Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowTo whom it may concern, LoanMe stated: "Our records reflect that the consumer was pre-screened in November of and received a pre-approval letter shortly thereafter." Answer: The fact is that this letter was received on or around January 6th The letter indicates No print or ship date, however it does indicate: Offer Expires February 14, or has provided absolutely no facts that shows this letter was sent out in November, and as usual is incorrect, because I received the letter at the beginning of January LoanMe Stated: " On January 11, 2016, a LoanMe representative contacted the applicant to advise him that his loan application was declined because he was no longer qualified under LoanMe’s underwriting criteria based on his current credit history information." Answer: The letter had stated : "...you received this offer because you satisfied certain criteria of creditworthiness LoanMe, used to screen persons for this offer." That response is and misleading, because LoanMe has provided no information to what changed, in a response to declining it, and I believe nothing has changed in my credit report, they're providing incorrect and information about this situationI base this also on my conversation with [redacted] on January 11th- Senior Loan Agent of LoanMe -stating that I was declined due to my Income not Credit Score LoanMe is also dishonest and misleading claiming the credit score was the reason, because on the back of the TERMS and CONDITIONS, it shows an example of: "A consumer in California with a FICO who meets income and other credit requirements, could receive a loan for $10,with an interest rate of 95% and origination fee of $for an APR of 99.75%" Yet my credit score provided and attached is 577, and I'm denied a loanThis leads me to believe they're denying a loan due to other reasons which may be discriminatory, because my credit score is up to par with the example given, and I have a steady and better than average income.LoanMe stated: " “credit may not be extended if after you respond to this offer, you no longer meet the selection criteria” In this instance, from the time the applicant was pre-screened in November to the time he applied on January 8, 2016, his credit had changed, such that he no longer met the criteria required to qualify for a loan."Answer: Attached to this email you will find my Credit score which has not changed at all during the month of January that shows: On January 8th, I received an email from LoanMe that stated that my Credit Score was This is incorrect again and when I presented this fact to [redacted] on an email, he declined to comment and gave other reasons why the loan was declinedPhone calls are recorded by them, I'd ask that LoanMe, provides records of all call backs from [redacted] , to Revdex.com, as a proof that information I was given from him for the decline was different and other than the credit scoreThis is a deliberate attempt to avoid their "advertising consequences"LoanMe stated: " This was clearly and truthfully stated in the letter the consumer received A “pre-approval” is not a final approval of the loan Rather, it is a preliminary evaluation of potential applicants, and a stage in the application process prior to final approval.Answer: Attached to this email is a copy of the letterNo where in this letter does it say: "A pre-approval is not a final approval of the loan" or anything like "It is a preliminary evaluation of potential applicants, and a stage in the application process prior to final approval" LoanMe is stating that "this is clearly and truthfully stated in the letter the consumer received." This is a lie and I ask that LoanMe to provide evidence and facts about what they're claiming, otherwise I ask that Revdex.com finds them dishonest, with questionable business practicesAnd I also ask the Revdex.com to render any penalties that may result as an outcome of this investigation, and unsubstantiated claims made by LoanMe.In Closing LoanMe has provided and misleading information on their replyThey've also lied about the terms and conditions on this letter, to make it sound more favorable to themThis letter does NOT state: " This was clearly and truthfully stated in the letter the consumer received A “pre-approval” is not a final approval of the loanRather, it is a preliminary evaluation of potential applicants, and a stage in the application process prior to final approval." To the contrary, this letter states: "information from your consumer credit report was used in connection with this offer and you received this offer because you satisfied certain criteria of creditworthiness, used to screen persons for this offer" This letter leads to believe that as long as long as one meets the Income and minimum age requirements, one is approved for the minimum, and based on credit score, it could go up to $10,600.LoanMe has provided a contradicting credit score They've not been truthful as what was said to me by [redacted] during the phone conversations on January 11thThey've also not told the truth because this letter was received in January, and they have provided no facts stating what changed on my Credit ScoreI ask that this is investigated further and Revdex.com, lowers their Revdex.com rating, for being Untruthful, dishonest and advertising.Regards, [redacted] [redacted]

LoanMe, Inc(“LoanMe”) has reviewed the above referenced complaint filed on March 2, 2018, as well as our records and telephone conversations (all of which are recorded) We take all complaints seriously and welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter Please allow this to serve as our formal response Initially, please note that LoanMe is a California Finance Lender that offers unsecured installment loans to qualified consumers, as well as unsecured commercial installment loans to qualified businessesLoanMe is licensed by the State of California DBO Financing Law, License #603K061, thus regulated by California Financial Code Sections [– 22347] Pursuant to California Financial Code Sections 22002, and 22251, a California Finance Lender licensee is exempt from interest rate limitations for unsecured loans with a principal loan amount of $2,or more Our records indicate that our customer entered into an unsecured small business loan (“SBL”) with LoanMe on June 15, 2015, with a principal loan amount of $70,The terms of the loan were clearly disclosed on the customer’s Small Business Loan Promissory Note and Disclosure StatementSince the customer’s SBL principal loan amount is more than $2,($70,000) and the loan is unsecured, California Financial Code Section exemptions for California Finance Lender licensees permit the interest rate to be the interest rate agreed to by the parties A review of our customer’s payment transaction history reflects that the customer had defaulted on numerous payments, and became more than days past due As a result, the loan was charged-off on January 02, LoanMe records support that phone calls between LoanMe and our customer (all of which are recorded) were at all times conducted in a professional manner in an attempt to help resolve our customer’s delinquent account In an effort to assist our customer, a LoanMe representative explained that LoanMe offers several financial assistance programs based on a customer’s demonstrated hardship While under no obligation to do so, LoanMe approved our customer for a loan modification on March 31, Per the loan modification agreement, the monthly payment amount and interest rate were substantially reduced A LoanMe representative also explained to the customer that the settlement arrangement required that scheduled payments be made on or before the due dates, and if paid as scheduled, LoanMe would forgive the unpaid portion of the loan Our representative further explained that if the conditions of the settlement arrangement were not fulfilled, then the settlement arrangement would be cancelled and the terms of the original loan agreement would be enforced Our customer entered into two separate settlement arrangements during the life of the loan, but both arrangements were unfortunately cancelled because of the customer’s nonpayment In closing, we would like to thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter for our customer Should our customer have additional questions or concerns, they may contact LoanMe directly at 844-764-

I received a personal loan from an Online lender in December of Down loaded loan specifics and it stated that I had purchased Future Investment Payments and was obligated to repay my $loan in payments at the amount of $IRS charged me with failure to report the $ loan as incomeThe loan note from LoanMe Incstates my annual percent rate of 139.113%Finance charges of $11,for an amount financed of $2, I also received via the IRS response a letter dated June 6, from FAW [redacted] claiming the sale of FIP My loan application was a minor emergency as I was leaving the country and contact with lender was primarily on the phone after my online applicationFAW [redacted] shows Transaction Details and the seller is ME? It indicates a Pension Company as Department of Veterans Affairs for payments to FIP $monthly payments for monthsI began payments Jan 2, and have made payments for over two years

I had a loan in the amount of $with this company for merely weeks and I was surprised to find out that the final balance I had as of today was more than $5800! I feel like I got ripped offThe company's advertisement regarding their interest rate is not true at allAnd their customer service is the one of the worst I've ever had in my entire life! With beeping sound in the background and they asked me same questions several timesToday, I called the customer service to update my bank information on file and had to give my new bank information not once but five times to be updated which is completely ridiculous! One thing is certain: I am pretty sure that I am not ever dealing with them for the rest of my life

The customer is raising points that were already addressed in our initial response, so we welcome the opportunity to help further clarify the matterPlease allow this to serve as our follresponse Our records indicate that after making only two payments, the customer requested to settle on the loanThe customer then entered into a settlement agreement that required scheduled payments to be made on or before the scheduled due datesPer the settlement, it was agreed that payments would be reduced from $to $If the conditions of the settlement were not fulfilled, then the settlement would be cancelled and the terms of the original loan agreement would be enforcedA payment was not received in August, so the settlement agreement was cancelledFor clarification, any payments of $towards the settlement agreement lacked sufficient funds to satisfy the $obligation of the original loan agreementOn August 31, 2016, the account was charged-off for being more than days past due, and LoanMe then soon filed a lawsuit against the customer to remedy the delinquent accountUntil the customer made a payment to settle on the loan, the account was delinquent from May until DecemberDuring a conversation on December 16, 2016, the customer agreed to settle on the loan because she had a job interview and could not appear in courtThe customer agreed to make a lump sum payment of $2,to settle on the loanThe loan was not paid in full because the amount paid was less than the amount due under the original loan agreementBy settling, LoanMe agreed to receive payment that is substantially less then what is contractually obligated by the debtorLoanMe is in the process of reporting the account as “Settled in Full,” and the customer should expect the credit reporting agency to reflect this updated information in the next 30-days Upon a complete review of the complaint and our records of the matter, we found that LoanMe has been forthright in our business practicesIf our customer has new facts or additional information that was not considered in our response, she may contact LoanMe directly at [redacted] In closing, we would like to thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter regarding the statements made in our customer’s complaintTell us why here

LoanMe Revdex.com complaint –(Complaint ID: [redacted] ):We have reviewed the consumer’s response and have further investigated the issue We provide this additional information in hopes that it will be helpful in better clarifying the matter for the consumer As previously stated in our prior response, we take matters such as identity-theft seriously, and we have established prudent procedures to assist victims of identity theft who reasonably believe that their information was used fraudulently to obtain a LoanMe productWhen this consumer initially called LoanMe, he advised that he was a victim of identity theft The consumer provided his information, and we were unable to locate the consumer in either our application processing or loan servicing system(s)This confirmed that there was no application submitted to LoanMe using the consumer’s informationIn order to investigate the matter further, LoanMe requested that the customer provide additional information regarding the situation to our Fraud Investigations department, so that we could assist the consumer with the issue and concernAs an additional measure, LoanMe contacted the Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) regarding the credit inquiry on the consumer’s credit report and was advised that the inquiry was not an inquiry generated because of any application or due to any fraudulent activity, but was instead a “soft pull” inquiry that the CRA provided to LoanMe for marketing purposesMost CRA’s provided to consumers with their consumer credit report an explanation and indicator that distinguishes between soft inquiries provided for marketing purposes, and other types of inquiries such as those generated in response to an application for creditAs confirmed by the CRA, soft inquiries may be performed without a consumer’s permission, and while a soft pull may appear on a consumer’s credit report, they have no bearing the consumer’s credit, nor will they affect the consumer’s credit scoreSoft inquiries may not be removed from a consumer’s credit reportWe also confirmed that the consumer was mailed marketing material regarding LoanMe’s products, and based on this information it is our belief that a soft inquiry was provided by the CRA As stated we have no evidence of the consumer’s information being used for an application or loan product. We have no records that substantiates fraudulent use of the consumer’s informationIn this particular instance, we find that this is not the case, as no fraud was perpetuated on this consumer regarding the inquiry in question We encourage the consumer to contact the credit reporting agency to confirm the type of inquiry made by LoanMe if it is not already indicated on the credit report he receivedIf after confirming the above information, the consumer still believes the inquiry is related to fraudulent activity, he should forward the documentation requested to LoanMe’s Fraud department, and we will be glad to investigate further

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am not satisfied with the provided response by Loan Me Incbecause they have not addressed the issue of falsely reporting late payments to ALL three credit bureaus; not just Experian I repeat, I was never delinquent with payments I simply solicited the service of another company to handle the remaining balance owed because of loan Me Inc predatory lending practices While I do not agree with their interest payments only terms, I accepted and continue to accept my responsibility to ensure that the balance is paid that was borrowed When I turned the loan over to Settle Your Debt company, I was NOT delinquent Again Loan Me deducted monthly payments from my Wells Fargo Checking account consistently from receipt of loan through Oct, Settle My Debt took over loan and continue to make payments from November, through the present date of 6/2017, with one late payment of not even days When missed payment was noticed Third party company worked diligently and negotiated with Loan Me and made good on their promise to pay the January payment that Loan Me refers tooMost importantly, my credit report is suffering due to one late payment that I did not default on Money is collected out of my checking account each month to ensure payments to Loan Me Inc and they should at least take this into consideration Instead, they being greedy and determined to collect interest in the same amount of the loan of Someone legal need to check their books This should be a crime And yet I am paying them off. Please see ledger of payments made by Loan Me/Global Solution that shows consistent payment dates, since October of Again Loan Me are not truthful in their lending and credit reporting practices Their response states that they only report to one Agency, but they have reported to all three agencies in this matter And they are falsely reporting that I am severely late, when in fact their is only one late payment that they can verify, which is the one that has been paid for 1/2017.I am very angry that I have kept my obligation to make payments totaling more than the amount of the loan of And they are requesting a balance of Loan Me has also reported multiple different balance amounts on my credit reports; first $1400, now So which is it, and what is the calculation based on Now think about this, I borrowed $minus $in October of and two years later I still owe them $after making $payments times over months which equals an amount of $8, Debt should be paid in full, including interest I plan to see legal representation in this matter, if Loan Me Inc cannot not report my payment history truthfully and correctly. They are inconsistent, and they have poor customer service Loan Me should be put out of business for robbing the less fortunate and those in need of short-term loan solutions Regards, [redacted] ***

LoanMe has reviewed the customer’s response and conducted a further investigationOur review, has confirmed that the terms of the loan were properly disclosed to the customer On July 9, 2015, the customer entered a legally binding contract with LoanMe for a consumer installment loanIn compliance with Truth in Lending Act, LoanMe’s Promissory Note and Disclosure Statement (“Note”), properly displays the terms of the Note and provides full disclosureIn addition, the terms of the Note explicitly state that interest is calculated on a 360/simple interest Paragraph three on page one of the Note states specifically that “Your payments will be applied first to any outstanding charges or late fees, then to earned interest and finally to principal .” In reviewing the payment history of the loan, the current balance is accurate and is consistent with the terms set forth in the Note and the customer’s payments have been properly applied. All customers have the opportunity to print their Note upon completion of the loan process In order to complete the loan process, the customer must check the box signifying that they have read and understand the terms and conditions of the Note thereby, agreeing to be bound by its termsIn addition, the customer signed the Note via electronic signature, which is a valid electronic signature under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and other applicable laws and regulationsPrior to funding LoanMe representatives explain the terms of the loan to all customers, and our records indicate that this was the case with this customerAfter a loan is funded, LoanMe conducts Welcome Calls with its customers, once again to ensure that new customers understand the loanIn this instance, a Welcome Call was conducted with the customer on July 10, LoanMe makes every effort to ensure that the applicants and existing customers understand our loan terms and firmly believe that the customer was apprised of all terms of the contractLoanMe has made no attempts to mislead the customer regarding the interest rate, as it disclosed the terms to this customer in a variety of waysWe thank you for this opportunity to respondLoanMe values its customers and take great pride in ensuring that all our customers concerns are properly addressed

I just spoke with the California Department of Business Oversight and the LoanMe people are within their rights according to this: "Finance lenders and brokers, by number of licensees and dollars of loans originated, is the largest group of financial service providers regulated by the DepartmentA finance lender is defined in the law as "any person who is engaged in the business of making consumer loans or making commercial loans." A finance lenders license provides the licensee with an exemption from the usury provision of the California Constitution." Below is a link to the website http://www.dbo.ca.gov/Licensees/Finance_Lenders/About.asp This explains a lot They don't call me any longer to collect, and I don't allow them to just take the money from my bank They hope I'll default I mentioned to one of their agents about "usry laws" this caused a level of defensiveness that rivals the Repubs and ObamacareThis also sparked them sending me multiple email, and blowing up my phone trying to reach me The following month when I confronted them about NOT calling me to collect, she told me their "system said my phone was disconnected" citing times of contact as 9:and 9: Yeah right! I just pay online now and follow up with a phone call to be sure they got the money They don't provide a receipt and I note it on my bank statement If you can get a personal loan to pay these people back ASAP While what they're doing isn't illegal it should be
