About a year and half ago, I took out a Personal Loan in the amount of $3,from LoanMe, Inc, and my payments are $a monthIn March, I called to discuss the loan and request a pay-off amount at that time over the phone I was quoted $3,I asked the representative how that could be possible if I have been paying the loan on time every month for the last year and a halfThe representative stated that when they provide personal loans they advise borrowers to pay more than the amount due in order to bring down the principal sooner than disclosed in the Schedule of PaymentsAt that specific point in time, I didn’t have time or energy to research the issue any further as I was in the middle of selling my house, re-locating, and burying my parentsI called LoanMe, on 5/23/to obtain a new pay-off quote as now that all is settled, I would like to pay the loan offWhen I spoke to Customer Service and requested a pay-off amount, I was quoted an amount of $3,over the phon

I only rate this company star because it makes me! Be ready to be harassed if you cannot pay your debt offThe last person who called my parents to harass them about where I was, said they would contact other people to find me, one of those people being someone my family has a restraining order againstThis person is the reason my family moved across the countryHe molested my daughter, we moved, and now I have a loan collector threatening to call this person about meWonderful .Maybe you can give him my new address too! BTWI got a $Loan, paid back more than $and now I apparently owe $14,This company sent me a letter January of stating my debt was going to collections and they call and harass and if you tell them to stop callingThey don't

I recently went under an agreement with LoanMe after I made it perfectly clear I was not going to pay $10,on a $2,loan, this seems totally illegal The arrangement is that I pay $a month for months, with a one time payment of $on or by December 30th I made mention to the person and the supervisor I was going to have Surgery on Jan7th and not sure when I will have my first disability check and I may not be able to make my first payment until the first week of FebI was told that is okay and to keep them updated I have informed LoanMe the second week of by Jan15th I will not receive my check until after Jan29th and I was told by the lead person on Jan29th that is not acceptable I also offered to pay $dollars all I had on Jan31st, I was told by the Lead person if my payment is not in that day he will mark my account for refusal to pay and further collection will begin That is true harassment as I am trying to make more than half of the payment If LoanMe or this particular superivisor didn't feel like working with me then so be it, but don't lie and put me at a disadvantage with the collection department My suggestion to you, no matter how hard times are, or what your circumstances are, do not take out a loan with LoanMe

I took out a loan and I feel that I am be taken advantage of I have paid almost the same amount of interest as the loan already or more but I still owe the same amount of money and I’ve never missed a payment This is insane how can this be legal praoin America

LianMe is very unprofessionalTheir customer service have no clue about the loan I took and can’t explain why the interest are so highThe loan should be lowered I paid a higher payment plus the automated paymentThe loan stayed higher then it should be when I made the additional paymentI fell taken advantage of, robbed is the word!!

Horrible company STAY AWAY don't fall for the trap A $2,loan cost me $10,in repayment fees I had a debt consolidation with my credit union we called loan me to verify amount, showed up at their offices with a cashiers check that was refused because the words "pay off" were in the notation field Somehow magically in a minute drive to drop the check off my balance had gone up $more dollars This company needs to be stopped

Do Not Do Business with this company They are a total ripoff They are definitely a predatory company that prey on the people when they are going through a hard time I got a loan with this company in March for $ After paying $for almost two years, I am told that I still owe $ That is crazy! I don't understand how the government allows companies like this to exist STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I applied for a loan thru this company in July of and I called today to get information regarding payoffI was quite surprised that my loan amount was and my payoff is They take from my ccount monthly and after months I have paid to this company and they are telling me I have until 10/till its overHow is it possible that they can charge a customer 410% interest and be able to have a business license and continue to rip people off How do companies get approval to do this??

LoanMe, Inc., (“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the consumer’s above-referenced complaint, and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter Please allow this to serve as our formal response LoanMe’s records indicate that the consumer applied for a loan with LoanMe once in March and again in April A review of the March records revealed that LoanMe’s loan agent mistakenly advised the consumer that when LoanMe runs an applicant’s credit during the application process, it is a “soft” credit pullHowever, a review of the April records revealed that LoanMe properly advised the customer that the credit run performed by LoanMe would be a “hard” pull (resulting in an inquiry) It is LoanMe’s business practice to only run credit reports on applicants who have given their express permission to do so during the application processIf the customer declines to have their credit reports run by LoanMe, the application will not proceed any further and will be deniedThe consumer provided consent to check her credit in both occurrences LoanMe advertises and offers loans to consumers within a wide range of credit histories and credit risk profiles, and as a result the interest rates and APR’s for our loan products vary widely Our internet website accurately reflects the interest rates and APR’s for the products we offer In reviewing this complaint, LoanMe recognized the error and have since taken steps to remedy the situation As a courtesy, on May 16, 2016, LoanMe submitted a request for both credit inquiries to be removed from the consumer’s credit report, this may take up to days to be reflected on the consumer’s credit reportPlease allow our response to serve as a written notification to our consumer We thank you for this opportunity to respond and if our customer has questions or would like to submit additional information, she may contact LoanMe directly at [redacted]

I wrote the following review in the YELP app just to warn people: No matter how desperate you are, don't ever loan from them! Look for other loan companiesI'm telling you from experienceBorrow $Paid $a monthA year later I owe $Please! Don't do itThey're taking advantage of people in desperate situationsJust my opinion and experienceCan't say I didn't warn you (they warned me too!) I was stupid! Their reply: Nic B: ***, please understand these are unsecured loans, therefore due to the high risk that is inherited with these agreements, interest is going to be highPlease don't cry and whine when you had every opportunity to read the loan agreement's fine print decline the loan all togetherRead the fine print sweetie!
