I have been making payments monthly. When I moved from CA I set them up with a credit avisor. Loan me refused to work with them nor returned any of there phone calls that my counselor made. They also sent paper work to them and refused to sign or work with them. All they did was take the checks they where giving. If you go through all my records this loan is paid in full. Furthermore I got waged garnishment for another 1500. This is just the start as I am going through the courts and filling complaints for people to listen to my side as I have NEVER had any say nor anyone listen to me. I will admit I was late however made it good. Was making payments. This company also charges over 100% interest. I dont want someone to make the same mistake I did and do business with this company.

Good morning

I have talked to Credit advisors on this on going problem and do not agree with Loan me at. Credit advisors has called multiple times and written messages with no response to loan me. The time I went defaulted I did call you and discussed other payment options but refused to help. At least I was trying to pay this off! I believe credit advisors on what they said. If you didn't accept any checks from me, where did it go? You accepted all payments. You do relegalize I can loose my apartment with a wage garnishment? I am trying to do the right thing hear by paying what I can afford but you are unwilling to help or agree. If you want to stop this before this wage garnishment takes place, I am willing to work with you !!!! I do not live in CA anymore and live in Omaha, NE. I am the only person that supports myself. If you want to work this out contact Credit advisors to come up with a suitable payment that I can afford. Again I believe what they stated and have written proof that YOU failed to contact them.

Thank you

Upon receipt of this follow-up complaint, per our customer’s request, we called Credit Advisors Inc. and was informed that they no longer represent our customer. We thank you for this opportunity to respond.

I have contacted credit advisors and they have stated that you have not contacted them at all! Your making it very difficult to survive on limited income. There fore I have no choice to seek legal services which is going to include bankruptcy. I have a meeting today at 400 pm to discuss this. You have never called me nor credit advisors at no point. I have no mail from you at all. I have tried to work a payment out before default but you wouldn't listen to the claim and stated to me to get it from a friend and or family member to pay the payment. My legal service will be contacting you once the paper work has been filed. I wish this never came to this !!

Horrible business they charge 135% APR on personal Loan. They pray on people with bad credit and in desperate need to borrowed money due to a employment lay- off. My best regret ever was to borrow from them, I am trying to lower my APR as we speak. I think the Revdex.com should have more control about such shark loan companies.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Interest rate determination combines many different factors, not just one.

I originally took out a loan for less than $6,000. I unfortunately defaulted on the loan due to medical reasons. Even though I tried to explain my situation and continued to make partial payments. I ended up using a debt settlement company to help resolve the account. Because the debt settlement company I was using provided false claim as far as resolving the debt. A settlement letter was at least sent to LoanMe. LoanMe was aware multiple times of the financial hardship and my efforts to resolve the case. Now my account has been turned over to a collection agency and the amount owing is $21,085! They stated that the loan is still accusing interest at the original high interest rate even though the account was bought by a third party.

Customer Response • Apr 23, 2019

Please provide a copy of the loan agreement. In addition if the account was charged off, then why is the company requesting that I pay $23,000. The account is continuing to accumulate interest. With the amount of interest that is being applied the account would not be resolved unless a payment of over $400 was made monthly for 5 years and that doesn't include the interest. I request that a settlement be entered on the charge off amount. Because of Colonial lack of attentiveness this is no error on my part. In addition, I tried to setup a payment plan of $50 a month as stated in the response however I was told that this amount was unacceptable. At this point I am not sure what to do because LoanMe is unwilling to accept my payment or settlement amount. Also even after all the communication with LoanMe they are still continuing to apply interest. I would also like clarification of the daily interest amount that is continuing to be applied to the loan. The company LoanMe is the new CashCall which was sued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

LoanMe, Inc. (“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the customer’s follow-up correspondence associated with the above referenced complaint, and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter. Please allow this to serve as our formal response.

The customer’s follow-up correspondence relating to Complaint ID: ***, did not raise any new points that were not already raised in the customer’s original complaint, which we already acknowledged and responded to on April 23, 2019. Nonetheless, we are happy to provide additional details to assist our customer with her concern.

Upon receipt of this follow-up complaint, we reached out to our customer and while under no obligation to do so, we offered our customer a settlement in the substantially reduced amount of $5,099.00. Our customer agreed to the settlement offer and made arrangements for a payment to be made this month. Once the first payment is received, the terms of our customer’s loan will be modified accordingly.

If paid as required, LoanMe will report the account as “Settled” to the credit-reporting agency and forgive the remaining amount of the debt. Please note that reporting the account as “Settled” will not remove the reporting of any delinquent payments, or the fact that the loan has been charged-off from our customer’s credit report history.

On April 22, 2019, LoanMe sent out a Validation of Debt letter to our customer, via US Mail.

We thank you for this opportunity to respond.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I feel that the company still needs to be investigated for their practices. As prior to filing this complaint I was not given any options. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I do not know how this place has an A with the Revdex.com when this is the biggest scam ever! You take out a loan, let’s say you only want $300-$500, their MINIMUM is over $2000. You will pay this loan back completely with their “monthly plan” in 5 years because they don’t tell you (or make sure you understand) that this is a high interest loan and you are accruing additional fees DAILY! I would not recommend this company under ANY circumstances because you will have to deal with them for years.

LoanMe Response • Jul 17, 2019

Thank you for taking the time to post your review regarding the terms of your loan. We always encourage our customers to pay off their loans as quickly as possible to pay the least amount of interest.

On March 28, 2019 for account Number # ***, The first company Representative at LoanMe I spoke with, I ask what was the pay out on my account. The representative stated that my pay out was $2,615.30. So I gave them a Certified Check for $2610.00 and $5.30 in cash.
On March 5, 2015 I check my account balance for my checking and there was an attempt (ACH) by Loan Me to take out 199.78, the ACH was returned unpaid, however they are costing me $20.00 for NSF for which I feel they should refund me for. I do not feel that I should pay this $198.78 due to when I called on the 28th I was informed that my pay out was $2615.30 for which I paid.
When I came in person to there office and paid them I receive two receipts one for $2610.00 and $5.30 cash, and I ask them for a letter or statement showing that my account was paid in full so they told me they can not give me a letter of confirmation but they could give me a Loan Transaction History and that is what I have. Showing my account was paid in full. I called today April 7, 2019 at 11:00 am and talk with Manuel the Representative, and he informed me that I still owe $199.78 when he said that I informed him that when I called you guys on the 28th you told me that I only owed $2615.30, so how are you going to tell me I owe one price and know today on April 7, 2019 you say I owe another price. Not Right.

These people are scammers and predatory lenders preying on people who are either very desparate or very uneducated. I found their "loan rate checker" while looking for a very large loan, close to $100,000 and already know my credit score which is in the "Good" range. I came back pre-approved for 3 loans from them. They ranged from $2400 to $3500 but the real kicker was the interest rates, which I don't even know if they are legal to charge. The lowest interest rete was over 300% and the highest was well over 800%. They actually offered me a loan, not kidding, for around $3500 with a payment of over $1100 per month for 10 YEARS!!!! RUN do not walk away from these people. Now I cannot get them to stop calling me and emailing me. These people need to be investigated and shut down!!

LoanMe Response • Jul 17, 2019

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review. Consumers are comfortable with varying interest rates depending on their personal situation and interest rates are determined by multiple factors.

Loanme INC has been illegally recording my confidential communications phone calls without my permission/consent. They do not tell you at the onset of the call that the call is being recorded. I am requesting that your office please investigate them. I have attached a letter from them via the CFPB that they sent, which states they are illegally recording.

In the CFPB Complaint in line 1-3 they say “We have reviewed Jason Alan’s (Mr. Alan) complaint filed on March 15, 2019, as well as our records and telephone conversations, all of which are recorded. “ PROOF THEY ARE RECORDING not only me, but consumers nationwide as well without consent. They never had any previous permission and if they think they did it was under false pretenses.

I am requesting they contact my authorized representative to resolve.

LoanMe, Inc. (“LoanMe”) is in receipt of the above reference complaint and we welcome this opportunity to respond to help clarify and resolve the matter. Please allow this to serve as our formal response.

Based on our research of the complaint, our records confirm that the consumer applied for an unsecured small business loan on March 18, 2017. Upon review and consideration, it was determined that the consumer did not meet our lending underwriting guidelines, thus the loan application was denied.

Phone calls recorded by LoanMe are made in accordance with the California Public Utilities Commission’s regulations governing recording phone calls and the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) rules, both of which recognize that proper notice to all parties to a conversation being recorded is given by an automatic tone warning, known as a “beep tone”. Accordingly, LoanMe’s phone conversation with the consumer included the audible “beep tone” warning that was repeated at regular intervals during the course of the communication.

Pursuant to the consumer’s request as stated in the complaint, we are reaching out to the consumer’s attorney using the contact information provided in the complaint.

In closing, we would like to thank you for this opportunity to respond, and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter for the consumer.

Customer Response • Apr 08, 2019

The company has failed to resolve the matter with attorney. New issues have risen as they do no have any proof or provided any proof that I ever applied for a loan. No credit applications have been provided to me.

Someone recently applied for a loan using my information and it is negatively impacting my credit report. I have been in contact with the company, but no one is returning my calls or completing the investigation of fraud. Every time I call to speak to someone, that person is no longer with the company. I have asked for all documentation that was used to process the loan, and it won't be provided. I have emails, phone calls and etc, showing where I have reached out to the company

Customer Response • Mar 26, 2019

Please provide me with all documentation that was used to process this loan. Anyone can call using my information. I have spoken with multiple parties and no one has provided me with the information. At this time, I will be pursuing legal action against your company.

Customer Response • Apr 03, 2019

I have callled this company asking to speak with representatives that are no longer there, that was investigating my case. I have asked for documentation and they will not provide copies of photo ID, paystubs or etc. all of this was done online, I submitted the police report number and have done all that they have asked me to do. Apparently, someone used my information and that’s what this company doesn’t understand. When I asked questions of how do they verify information, I was told they pull credit and check to see if you have an active bank account for which anyone can use your information, if you have been hacked. Additionally, I called the number that was on the application and it’s a non working number. My biggest concern was that a loan was denied and then 3 data later it was approved. Therefore someone at the company used my information or the person that stole my information was able to do this. I have also had to get new debit cards and etc because of this . I have aske repeatedly to see all documents and voice recordings used, but no one will provide. By law, I am entitled to this information and yet they refuse. I will be pursuing legal action, as I have never heard of getting a loan online with out going through the proper verification channels. Again I want this off my credit report and information provided immediately

Great

Scammers said I was pre approved that’s I called and they wouldn’t answer any of my questions before they ran my credit they just ran it than said I wasn’t approved total scam there just ruining people’s credit totally unprofessional beware of this company

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review. I would like to extend a personal thank you for sharing your experience in working with our company. We strive to provide each client with an excellent lending experience, and we are actively working to improve service levels to better meet our customer’s needs.

On March 15, 2019, I inquired about a temporary personal loan of $2,000 through a company called Loan Mart. When speaking with them, it was determined that they were unable to offer me the loan without vehicle collateral, but they offered to transfer me to a partner of theirs, LoanMe, who offers non-collateral loans. I agreed, and was transferred to LoanMe.

When speaking with the loan agent at LoanMe, he asked me a series of questions pertaining to my income, residency, and occupation, then had to transfer me to a disclosure recording (this is not atypical for banks, so it raised no concern). Prior to transferring me to the disclosure, the agent never confirmed or discussed the amount I was attempting to borrow. He then came back on the line after I was done with the disclosure, and informed me that he'd already ran my credit and it was denied. When I inquired about the amount he ran the loan for, John informed me that he went with the minimum amount they offer in Arizona 0 $10,600 at a 98% interest rate!

I was under the impression that when I was transferred to LoanMe, they already had the amount of $2,000 that I was seeking. Had I been properly informed of this information, I would have NEVER authorized them to run my credit. When I informed him of this, he said simply that he understands, but the loan was declined. I asked to speak with a supervisor to see about how to get this credit inquiry off my record and John simply told me that there are no supervisors. I was disconnected twice, and had to call him back directly at (949) 535-7319, where I was disconnected again. After calling back a second time, John transferred me to customer service, who said I needed to speak with a loan agent.

LoanMe’s records indicate that the consumer applied for a loan with LoanMe on March 15, 2019. During the application process a LoanMe agent asked the applicant’s permission to obtain his credit to which he gave his express permission for LoanMe to obtain his credit, which generated a credit inquiry.

LoanMe only runs credit reports on applicants who give their express permission to do so during the process of applying for a loan, which is the case here. However, upon review of this matter and as a courtesy, on March 19, 2019, LoanMe submitted a request for the hard credit inquiry to be removed from the consumer’s credit report; this may take up to 30 days to be reflected on the consumer’s credit report. Please allow our response to serve as a written notification to our consumer.

We thank you for this opportunity to respond and hope that we have helped to clarify the matter. If the consumer has additional questions or concerns, he may contact LoanMe directly at 844-764-7368.

When I took out this loan I made my 1st payment in December and I called an explained that some financial problems came up. That I need help with this. I also emailed many many times and no one would get back to me. I now have payment arrangements that state make February payment which I did and that credit would be updated. I made that payment and I didnt get posted to the balance like it was supposed to. I called about this and I was told well the agreement doesnt apply until after you make a payment that doesnt get posted toward anything. They also said even though the agreement says they will update the credit they wont.

Again I have called back repeatedly been put on hold hung up on gotten nowhere. Please check your phone records and email because I havent been able to get a reply back to either. It's very frustrating to get the run around...

I applied for a $3,200 loan we could loan me last year due to my good credit FICO 756
I was approved . the loan officer was harassing me everyday that I must take out 72 Hyundai that would be better for me. the distribution of 7200 was such that they paid off my One credit card for 2500 what's the interest rate was only 9% in the balance was put into my checking account at Wells Fargo. during the approval process I was asked to send a voided check with my ID to the loan officer but she never disclosed to me that without my authorization or knowledge she set me up for automatic withdraw from my Wells Fargo checking account fraudulently. on the second month I called Wells Fargo to put a stop payment on that withdrawn since it was not authorized by me. due to the monthly payment being changed loan me again was able to take out money from my Wells Fargo account without my authorization. from the day I got that loan I get harassing phone calls on daily basis from their call center non-stop switching their phone number two different numbers and calling what are the payment is due or not. since last year I've been asking the representative to send me my loan disclosures that tells me what my interest rate is and what my balance is and they say yes we will send it to you but as of March 7th 2019 I have not seen anything in the mail. I am providing you with a copy of the monthly statement that they sent in the mail it does not say the interest rate the balance or anything all it says is how much to pay which is predatory. I am not able to pay 690 a month it is unknown number. I will file a lawsuit against loan me if for any reason they start calling my friends my relatives or anyone that I am associated with pretending to look for me.
loanme is fully aware that I am unemployed at this moment but yet I have been paying their monthly payment since last year. it is affecting my health in my well-being and I worry every night about this loan. I wanted to report this earlier but my brother-in-law passed away and I was busy taking care of him so I had no time to deal with this problem

Loan me has taken out funds from my account when I told them I would not have sufficient funds till the following week they still processed the payment without my consent after I had told them I was going through financial hard ships and was going to have insufficient funds I got a total of 140 dollars of insufficient funds penalties, they are not complying when I can make the payment they say they can’t stop the payment with out atleast 3 days notice when I was just notified today

Customer Response • Mar 04, 2019

Loan me stated they would atomaticaly withdrawal the payments of 198 electronically yet they failed to do so that’s why I am submitting my complaint they do this intentionally so that your coustomers can be delinquent on the contract why didn’t loan me take out the 198$ like they said they would it’s not my fault it’s your reps who informed me otherwise and they gave me a plan of 6 payments to pay off my loan see image attached

The customer’s follow-up correspondence relating to Complaint ID: ***, did not raise any new points that were not already raised in the customer’s original complaint, which we already acknowledged and responded to on March 4, 2019. Nonetheless, we are happy to provide additional details to assist our customer with his concern.

Contrary to the statement made in our customer’s complaint, our records confirm, as well as phone conversations (all of which are recorded) our customer did not schedule a $198 payment to be withdrawn from his bank account. Our call records confirm that when we spoke with our customer on January 2, 2019, he informed the representative that he would contact us back to provide his debit card information for the assistance offer of $195, as he was at work during the time of the call. Our records also confirm that we made multiple attempts to contact the customer throughout the month of January, but all attempts went unanswered.

Furthermore, the offer that our customer attached to this complaint is a settlement offer that we emailed to our customer on February 18, 2019. As the attachment shows, the settlement offer would require the customer to make 6 payments of $428.72. When we spoke with our customer on February 21, 2019, he informed our representative that he would pay $388.40 and start the settlement plan in March 2019.

We thank you for this opportunity to respond.

On May 30, 2017, I was approved for a personal loan with LoanMe for $2,600. My monthly payments were established at $294.46. After 19 months of payments, I have paid about $4,220 towards this loan; however, on February 6, 2019, I logged into my online account to view the payoff amount and it showed that my payoff amount is $2,640. On December 1, 2018 the company contacted me to offer a deferment option and an amendment to my original contract. The contract stated that my next payment would be deferred to February 1, 2019 contingent upon me paying $150 by December 1, 2018. I signed the contract and paid the $150 and received confirmation that the contract was fully executed. On January 1, 2019, I began receiving several calls per day stating that my account was past due. On February 6, 2019, I received a letter from LoanMe threatening to accelerate my loan and make the entire balance due, although my account should not have been considered past due based on the written contract. I have reached out to the company on over five separate occasions times to discuss why my principal balance has not decreased despite paying over $4000. LoanMe has continued to call me up to 10 times per day, but they have been unwilling to acknowledge the breached contract nor work to settle this account. LoanMe has also recently stated that my loan contract does not end until October 2022. This will amount to an additional $6,000+ being paid toward a principal of $2,600 in addition to the $4,000 already paid. These are unacceptable, unethical, and illegal business practices. I have run into financial trouble attempting to pay off this loan, but I have always acted in good faith. I refuse to continue making payments to a company who is willing to blatantly breach an executed contract. All documents are available as needed for verification by LoanMe or the Revdex.com.

Customer Response • Feb 11, 2019

I do not accept LoanMe’s response since they failed to respond to the facts relating to their breach of contract. I consider this a non-response. Attached is a copy of the loan contract that has been breached by the company. I made a payment of $150 contingent upon this contract stating that my next payment would be due February 1st. The company ignored this agreement and continues to escalate my loan and threaten to place this loan in default status. The company continues to call several times per day and send deferment options, but has shown that they have no interest in abiding by these contracts. The collection practices of this company are illegal and unethical. This business still has a duty to respond to the facts of my complaint which they have failed to do.

Customer Response • Feb 19, 2019

The attached contract has not been honored by the business. The last page of the contract proves that the document was created, executed by me, and returned the same day. The response by the business is factually incorrect and I reject this response.

If possible I would leave no stars. This is a predatory loan with an insane intrest rate. Youll never be able to pay off unless you can manage a $400 monthly payment. Never and I mean never use this company for a loan. Your better off going through your bank or any bank for that matter.

LoanMe Response • Jul 17, 2019

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We always encourage our customers to pay off their loans as quickly as possible to pay the least amount of interest.

A horrible company. I consolidated my debt through a debt relief company. They at some point filed a small claims case after refusing to negotiate or just set up payments. The case was served. Then settled the following Monday. I made my first payment according to the settlement. They then still went into court unbeknownst to me after having settled and got a default judgment. They had already received their first payment! Very unethical. Stay away from this company. I’m working now to get the judgment vacated based on their unethical conduct. I wouldn’t even give them one star!

I applied for a loan thru this company in July of 2015 and I called today to get information regarding payoff. I was quite surprised that my loan amount was 5400.00 and my payoff is 5818.33. They take 496.31 from my ccount monthly and after 41 months I have paid 20299.10 to this company and they are telling me I have until 10/22 till its over. How is it possible that they can charge a customer 410% interest and be able to have a business license and continue to rip people off. How do companies get approval to do this??

I have never received an online loan from anyone and would never try to. There are several items that prove this is not my loan (1) the name they have is not the correct one that I use and one that I only use to enter contest (2) the income source is incorrect (3) no one that does business with people would not lend money to someone with a credit score in the low 500s. The loan and agreement was generated online from someone besides myself thus puts me in the area of identity theft that has happened to so many people from the Equifax breech.

They can say whatever they want and I have no idea what method they used to verify the identity since myself and the police dept have never heard of it before. So they can make up whatever they want and I'll let the FTC, AG of idaho take over plus I've filed Debt collections fair practices act and most likely will receive the $1000 that will be fined against this company. It would be better for them to drop their report off of my credit report since I'm a person that will take on the challenge when someone calls me a liar.
