We contacted Paramount Equity to refinance our home in February, 2017. The employee we worked with was ***-***. He determined that the value of our home was more than $340,000 which was well above the $312,000 appraisal we had done March, 2016 through ***. He sent out an appraiser from a company with a terrible reputation. We paid half of the $500 appraisal fee in the amount of $250. An appraiser came out that was not familiar with our area and issued an appraisal of only $290,000 which is -$22,000 less than the appraisal done in 2016. Because of the under valued appraisal she issued, we haven't been able to refinance our home or get a second equity loan.

***-*** told us that we would get the $250 that we paid for the appraisal reimbursed as soon as possible. We were never reimbursed and Mr.-*** stopped communicating with us. We were financially destroyed because Paramount Equity decided to suspend our loan and refused to explore other avenues of refinancing our balance owed of @$261,000 to get our payments lowered to an affordable monthly payment.

We want our $250 refunded immediately and Mr.-*** needs to be fired - at the very least he needs to be educated in dealing with clients at this crucial time of their financial stability. We have been financially destroyed and will never, ever trust any mortgage companies to treat us with respect and honesty.
