Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The other rings were sold since we could not use them or return one for the correct size.  I will accept a $30 gift card as compensation for this trouble.

the contest did happen and we had a winner who one the ring. The winner asked not to expose her name and we respected it. We are sorry for the confusion and thank you for...

Review: I sent back my ring since the stone fell out of it. It was purchased 6 years prior. [redacted] who claims to be the only Manager/Owner agreed to repair it for me at no cost. I get a phone call stating he would charge me $50, but after a brief conversation he agreed to repair for me this time at no charge. He sends me a replacement ring which I received last Friday 5/24/2013. He never indicated to me prior I would not get my original ring back that has great sentimental value. I wasn't even given an option wether or not I wanted to keep it. I place this new ring on my finger and take it off within 24 hours as I notice its fitting alot smaller than my previous and the stone pops out again. I called and talked with [redacted] again today 5/28/2013 and explained what happened. He says well the ring was replaced with a new one and became very rude and condescending when I asked him to repair the faulty product. I mean if it was brand new this shouldn't have happened. They must have sent me the wrong size I said. He says we measured and it was a 9, I said no! I had a 9 1/2, not a size 9. He says well too bad, its your loss. He says we may repair it but we will charge you $50. I said it was a brand new ring this shouldn't have happened and you sent out the wrong size. I said fine then I will file a claim with the Revdex.com, he said go ahead they are a joke and won't do anything about it. I know my original ring is now forever gone which deeply saddens me. The replacement they sent via first class on tracking number [redacted] is a faulty and defective product.Desired Settlement: I want a correct ring size replacement AT NO CHARGE and I will return the faulty ring with the stone that popped out or or a full cash refund. I cannot believe how impossible these people are. Their product was faulty and not up to par so I shouldn't have to pay $50.00 to repair a defective product that was not my fault.

Response:

The customer contacted us stating that someone told her she could have her ring repaired at no charge which after 6 years of wearing the ring everyday is something that we do not offer. She couldn't tell us who she spoke to via our online chat nor could she reproduce any proof that this conversation actually took place. Despite it being against our policy we decided to offer the customer the opportunity to send it back to us with no fees. Unfortunately, the customer had damaged the ring to a point where it could not be properly repaired and so a replacement for the exact same size was provided - again, at no charge. Certainly, if the customer had requested that it only were to be repaired or provided us with any knowledge that she wouldn't want a replacement we would have contacted her to let her know. However, the customer had been difficult to deal with from the beginning and was demanding that her ring get fixed so we took the liberty of replacing the ring in order to satisfy the customer's needs.

The customer has two orders in our system - one from 2006 and one from 2007 for this specific ring. One order for a size 8 and one order for a size 9. We can only imagine that the customer's finger size has changed since then which is the reason that the pink sapphire fell out in the first place and the same reason that the pink sapphire was forced out of the brand new ring. When we asked the customer if it had been too tight she continued to talk around the question which led us to believe that it was in fact too tight which would prove that it was not a faulty product but in face just too small. The ring in question is "tension set" so if it doesn't fit properly it can cause the stone in the center to become loose and/or pop out. We have attached a screenshot of the original order for the size 9 and the correct original purchase price of $159 that the customer paid - not $179 as previously claimed.

We listened to the tape of the call and the representative was nothing but professional with this unfairly irate customer. We can certainly understand how customers can mishear or take things the wrong way when they are irate and angry as this customer was. Not once did the representative say "well too bad, it's your loss". Not once did he say "go ahead they are a joke and won't do anything about it". This type of action speaks to the difficulty of what our representative was dealing with.

Just to put an end to this situation, we will be happy to replace the customer's ring again at no charge despite it being against our policy. We are not aware of any company that would replace a ring at no charge after almost 7 years and the customer wearing it every day and in the condition it was returned to us. We will even provide the customer with a size 9.5 for her increased ring size. The size 9.5 is currently out of stock. We will process a special order request for that size and it will come in stock in approximately 3-4 weeks at which point we will ship this customer the brand new ring, however, we will not continue to provide this customer with free rings in the future with no exceptions but will be happy to repair or replace rings if damaged for a small repair or replacement fee to be determined after the ring is received by our jewelers.

We will ship the new ring to:

Please instruct the customer to return the ring and the pink sapphire to our facility immediately. We will only process the special order request once the ring and sapphire are received by our warehouse facility. They can send it to:

Review: I made a purchase ONLINE at Love and Pride, LLC for two items (earrings), totaling $147.90 on Aug. 3, 2014. The full amount was deducted from my bank account on Aug. 5, 2014. I did receive one of the purchases (the least expensive) within a week. I contacted customer service through the email that was provided to get an update on my second purchase, with no response. My online account said the email status was "closed." I reviewed my online account and discovered that my purchase of $147.90 was given a status of "Unapproved", although it was already deducted from my bank account. I made a phone call and left a detailed voice message asking for a return call, yet no one called me.

I went through a online chat that was provided at the website. The young man said that the UNAPPROVED status didn't mean anything and that he would research this matter and an email would be sent to me with an update on an estimated arrival date on my second purchase (Israeli earrings for $125.00). AGAIN, I received no communication from Love and Pride, LLC.

I made another attempt through email with customer service stating that they had stolen my money and provided false information about their customer service support and that no one was making any effort to resolve my problem. I stated that I no longer wanted the earrings and that I expected a full refund of $125.00.

I finally received a phone call from Kobi B[redacted], who informed me that it would take approximately 10 business days before I would receive my purchase, and that he would personally be in contact with me.

It has now been 18 days since I purchased the earrings (14 business days), and I have received NOTHING and no one has made any attempts to contact me.

I just tried to call customer service (automated only) and was put to Kobi B[redacted]'s voice mail. I also tried the online chat (which states "We're here to chat with you", and no one responded.

I NEED HELP PLEASE!Desired Settlement: A full refund of $125.00 for the price of Israeli earrings.
