I had an alignment and tire rotation done on my Buick LaCrosse at the beginning of MarchMy alignment was not right and there were loud clunking noises coming from my vehicleI took my vehicle in days later for a free estimate and was told that I needed a new tie rod and new struts
The problem is that an alignment cannot be done if atierod is badSo the did the alignment even though I had a bad tierod
I contacted Dunn Tire via email on May and received a phone call from a rep who I spoke to about the issueHe offered to have another alignment done for free but I did not trust them because they had already messed up my vehicle
So the Rep had decided to give me a refund which was supposed to be issued and mailes to me on the 12thHowever, I have not received any refund
Although I have had my struts and tie rod replaced, there are still issues with my alignmentI have had a second alignment done with a reputable mechanicThe new mechanic does not believe that

I went to Dunn Tire for inspection and they told me I needed new brakes in order to pass inspection So I said ok and they put new brakes on About week later this screeching noise was coming out of my rear tires every time I brakedI took the car back to Dunn tire and they said they would put new brakes on again due to faulty pads About weeks after that again same screeching noise every time I brakes Took the car back in again and they said it was my calipers that need to be replaced another $job! At this point I didn't have the money so I took my car into the dealer and they told me that I needed new brake pads! That the brakes pads where the cheapest you can get with some kind of metallic coating and that was causing the screeching noise The calipers were fine Can't believe what a rip-off Dunn Tire has turned out to be What a shame I will never go there again My advice if you are getting an inspection and need new brakes...go to someone else....anyone else....what a scam hours of my time wasted too!

Called to make an appointment, woman on phone told me I didnt need an appointment and just to walk in So doing as instructed by dunn tire customer service, I walked into the local store and told them what I neededThey promptly asked if I had an appointment ( which I didnt as per dunn tire customer service )I told them about my call to customer service and about just walk in, they told me 3-hours before they might be able to pull my vehicle inCustomer service has no idea whats going on at the actual stores and should not be involved with scheduling Total waste of my day

I took my car in to have my tire replaced, which I had informed them had a bubble and patches in itAssistant manager Mark M*** calls me to tell me my car is done and all set to be picked upWhen I get there to pick it up, he informs me that the passenger rear tire was replaced, but there was not a bubble or patch in itHe says he could not find a bubble on any tire, and tells me “oh you’ll be seeing us again”I asked why he replaced a tire that did not need replacing, to which he responded “this was the tire I was told to replace, so I did”My boyfriend then quickly ran his fingers over the tires to find that the front right tire had the bubble, which Dunn tire then replacedTo top it off, I was charged $for the tire replacement, which came as a surprise because one of their employees said it was covered on the phone the day beforeI was treated like I was stupid and like I was lying about having a bubble in my tireMark handled the entire situation very poorly, fail

I made an appointment a month in advance to have a tire fixedI called before that date to make sure it would get fixed because my son was driving from Boston and was only here for the weekendWe dropped it off on Wednesday with a note explaining what was to be doneWe called to make sure And they said it would be done at the end of the day FridayIt wasn’tthen they said at the end of the day SaturdayWhen we went to pick it up they hadn’t even moved itNo work had been doneSo now my son has to drive back to Boston with a bad tire because he has to leave in the morning earlyThe three times that we had called, we were on hold for over a half an hour and then hung up onVery frustrating My family of five have been customers for over years thereNo more!

Two months ago, I purchased four new tires at Dunn Tire on Transit Rd in Williamsville and spent just over $ About two weeks ago, I started having issues with a tire losing air so I started checking the pressure daily and topping it off When I returned to the same Dunn Tire location with an almost flat tire, I was advised the tire appeared new and didn't have any nails or obvious issues, but to make an appointment and the soonest available was in five days In the next two days, I had a flat tire twice which caused some inconveniences to say the least, and I noticed there was a nail in the center of the tread I called Dunn Tire back and requested a sooner appointment and they added me to the end of the day on Sunday (two days later) At Sunday's appointment, I was advised the tire could not be repaired and a new one would arrive the following day and I would be charged approximately $ The associate I spoke to originally could not explain the breakdown of the charges, so

I went into Dunn tire to get tires mounted on rims which were not purchased at Dunn tireThey mounted and could only balance two of them because supposedly two tires were taking too much weight and then proceeded to tell me that nobody could balance themIf you don't balance your tires, your whole vehicle will shake terriblyJoseph, who I delt with, was very argumentative about this whole situation, told me he had been in the tire business for many years and knew what he was talking aboutWell, he didn't know that I had also been in the tire business for years, and I know for a fact that when you balance a tire, you don't counter-weight it like they had done on mineAlso, by the time I had got home the sticky weights they used were already falling off the rim

I arrived about minutes early on 11/12/for a pm appointmentThis appointment was for a wheel alignment, new tires and NYS INSPECTIONAfter 1/hours I was told it'll be done soon, many customers came and left while I sat waiting the whole timeFinally after 3:my truck was doneI was reminded to stop back after miles to have the lugs nuts tightenedOn 11/17/I stopped back and looked the person behind the counter right in the eyes and requested I get matching black air valve caps because that's what the truck came into the shop with, lug nuts tightened and tire air pressure checkThis person would NOT look at me even for a second but said okI left there with loose black air valve caps, over inflated tires and now black air valve cap is missing?

I started having a weird noise in the front tires of my car, so upon recommendation of Dunn Tire from a family member, I visited the Webster, NY location for serviceOver the course of several months, I spent several hundred dollars ($769.86) at Dunn Tire trying to resolve this problemThis resulted in new front tires, new front brakes/pads and rotors, tire rotations & several alignmentsThe noise still presented itself after my last visit to Dunn in DecemberAt that time, I elected to go to another service providerWhen I did so, that service provider informed me that on the driver's-side tire, the entire caliber was detached, missing the bolt that attached it to the car, and was hanging in the wheel-well, which is why I was hearing and feeling a rubbing noiseIn addition to that, the brake pads were down to the metal on both sides and the rotors on both sides had to be replaced againAlso, in the course of all of the visits to Dunn, through out several tire replacements, r

I had an appointment at the Mckinley Pkwylocation for 8:am on septWhen I arrived at 8:there were already customers in the waiting roomMy vehicle was not attended to until 9:When I complained to the clerk (Levi?), I was told that vehicles had been scheduled for am & for 8:30amHe said it was a corporate decision which made no sense to meThe first client to enter after me arrived at 10:amI was told it would take one hour to put on the new tires but at 11am I was still waiting This is lousy scheduling & poor communicationYour employees & customers would both benefit form some training I scheduling & communicationI did receive a $discount on replacing a tie rod but that isn't helpful when someone needs to be
elsewhere at a certain time

I went in for a scheduled tire rotationThe sales person came to me with a piece of paper that indicated I should replace my batteryHowever, I knew differentlyI purchased a new battery for my vehicle a year ago from AAA with a year warranty
I only drove the car 5,miles last yearSo, they wanted to sell me a battery that I didn't needA classic case of attempting to take advantage of senior citizensI won't return to Dunn Tire on Peach Street in Erie, Pafor my future tire needs nor will my wife or anyone else I can tell this story toBad news travels faster then good news

I purchased new snow tires from Dunn two years ago, for a *** ***, at the Bridge St store in East Syracuse, NY This year (2018) I bought a new vehicle ( ***), and again purchased new snow tires at this same location When the new snow tires were put on, I specifically told the rep my niece now drives the *** ***, and she will be in to have the stored snow tires (that I paid to store) put on her car He said it would be no problem, just have her give them my name, and they'll pull my *** snow tires from storage
Ten days later my brother brought the *** *** into the store for the snow tires He was told the snow tires could not be found The rep called me, to ask if I had asked them to throw out the *** snow tires, when I bought my *** tires I specifically told him not only did I NOT ask them to dispose of four snow tires (that were only two years old), I had indicated to the agent that my niece would be having them in stalled shortly, and told it would not be a problem It is now about one week later, and the response from the Manager is: We do not have the snow tires for the ***, and cannot find them Not only that, they will NOT replace the tires...but would 'work with me' to purchase new snow tires for the ***
This is a disreputable way to run a business..I pay to store tires, however didn't get snow tires back, nor a satisfactory resolution to this issue A very sad tale, for a store that, for many years serviced mine, and several family members' cars IS THIS RIGHT????

I had to have my vehicle towed to Dunn Tire Batavia for a broken ball joint that they had repaired in December They fixed the ball joint and damaged tie rod, but refused to allow my vehicle to be driven from Dunn Tire Batavia because of a broken brake line that they could not repairI had to have the vehicle towed back to my houseI believe Dunn Tire is responsible for these towing charges as it was their faulty ball joint that caused the problemThe towing charges total $

I purchased four new tires at Dunn I got a nail in one tire tread Dunn said they would not repair it but wanted me to purchase a new tire at a cost to me of $ They didn't have a tire there and would have to order one with a waitThe tires had 4,miles on themI went to my mechanic of years and he said there was no reason not to fix the tire He fixed the tire and said there would be no problem with the tire
Dunn never put the car on the lift to look at the nail but said that it could not fixed I purchased my tires at Dunn with the understanding that their "road hazard warranty" would cover flats

Took my car in for NYS inspection 8/17/they did a battery test and it came back as a bad cell. The problem here is I bought the battery at *** *** back in 3/brand new, so I'm thinking it is a possibility of a defective battery so I went back to *** and they tested it and everything was good. The guy said this is not the first time he ran into this from customers from Dunn.So I took the car back to Dunn told them what I did and showed them the test results from ***.Dunn had a mechanic redo there test and guess what??? Dunn's test came back good. The guy at *** said Dunn is ripping off people to make sales.Know if this battery was not new I would of probably replaced by Dunn and not even thought twice!!!Also took my other car into Dunn to buy 4new tires and to get inspected and it passed but they said it was going to need a lower control arm in order to do an alignment. Is this SCAM???? makes me wonderI've been a customer of Dunn's for over 20yrs and there business and work ethics are going down the tubes

Made a on-line appointment on 11/for a winter tire changeReceived a confirmationArrived early and was told the appointment was cancelled due to high volume of customersNever called or emailed regarding the cancellationIronically I was told I could make another appointment but due to demand it would be over a week (and probably have the same cancel of appointment)I was told that basically making a on-line appointment is useless and in reality it is a first come first serve businessIn addition, after emailing business I received a voice mail from a "Josh" I tried to reach out, calling back and the phone simply rang - no pick-up, no voice mailVery poor customer service

I called to schedule an appointment with the Dunn Tire located on Peach Street in Erie Pennsylvania last Monday December 20th, I scheduled my appointment for Friday December 23rd, at 1pm for a simple routine tire rotationI was only using this particular location because it was on the way to the other places I needed to got to finish holiday shoppingMy husband, my month old son, and I arrived at the location at 12:40pm on Friday the December 23rd, I was greeted kindly and told I we would be in and out in no timeThere was currently one other customer waiting in their waiting room as we waitedAbout minutes later the elderly woman who had been waiting when we arrived asked the gentleman when her car would be finished and he said about another half an hourShe then replied, "Does it usually take hours for an oil change and tire rotation", and the man stated yes that sometimes it takes longer than expectedIn the meantime we had overheard another employee in the back room yelling at someone on the phone (another employee)Apparently the employee had left his shift and accidentally taken (something) with him that belonged on that poor woman's car, hence why she had been waiting hours! Not only did we get to hear the employee creaming and the other employee lie to this elderly woman, we were still waiting for our vehicle too! I then waited another long minutes hoping our car would be finished because my baby had been fussing for over a half hour at this pointAt one hour time lapse I finally asked the employee if our car was almost finished and he stated let me checkHe comes back out and tells me that it just got in there and would be another fifteen or twenty minutes! I asked him to pull my car out so that I could leave because this was ridiculous to have waited an hour for a simply tire rotation and it still wasn't even started! He apologized and said he would pull the car out for usHe walked into the shop where the only mechanics were just standing talking and the employee told the mechanics why he was pulling our car out and the mechanics apparently thought this was hysterical as they started laughing! I am so sad to see this place go the way it has, I bought my tires here and was very pleased with the service I had received so I continued to returnNow I will not only stop coming here, but will recommend to anyone I know that they should steer clear as wellI cannot believe an employee would lie to a customer, make them wait for hours with a newborn baby when we had an appointment, and to top it all off the employees laugh thinking the situation is funny! I truly hope this email makes it to an employee that actually cares about their customers because I am baffled by this lack of service and decency

We purchased a new set of tires on 1-15-2016,on 2-29-16,I had just dropped my year old son off at daycare, turning off Akron rdonto rtin the town of Pembroke Ny , my tire flew off my truck striking the driver side back door of my truck , I observed that all the lug nuts& bolts were sheared off, I called Dunn tire about the tire and they dispatched someone, mean while sheriff deputy officer corona came up on me ,right after it had happened and put out flares in rd.,he suggested I start taking apart the rest of the wheel ,rotors, so it could be put back together quicker, they replaced the rotor and bolts and lug nuts, but gave me hard time about replacing my rim which was ruined from the lug nuts and bolts shearing off. They refuse because of the time from I purchased the tires, and the the manager claimed we had new brakes which is not true.I have not touched the tires since Dunn put the tires on, or have not had any kind of brakes done, I will be happy to show them
