There are some facts left out by [redacted].  She left our school in Dec 2012, where she had a balance of $ $6,622 due in full.  We offer the student a payment plan of $ 200 per month at 6% interest starting in May 2013.  She was unable to pay $ 200 per month and...

wanted us to accept $ 25 per month.  We advised her that we could not accept that small of a payment on her balance.  It would have created a negative amortization on her payment plan.  She was offer step up plan to start at $ 100 per month until she get in better financial situation.  The student agree to $ 50 e/o week on 7/31, her grandmother was going to help her out.  We received one $ 50 payment and no contact until Mr. T[redacted] reached her in Feb 2014.  At this time that account was 10 months past due from the original payment plan that we had offered and was charged off as a bad debt.
She advised us that she could put $ 500 from her tax return and agreed to pay $ 50 e/o week starting March 14th. This plan was agreed to pay $ 50 e/o Friday. [redacted] has called in a couple of times to move the payment but has paid each month. I have sent a copy of [redacted] payment history since she started the school in Aug 2012.  I am not sure what #, [redacted] has been calling because we have not had any issue with our phone lines.  If [redacted] wants she may reach me at ###-###-####, ext [redacted].  If she would like to discuss a lump sum settlement, LTI would be interested in discussing her options.
If there is anything else that I can provide, please feel free to contact me.

Sorry for the delay, our representative at the school was out of town. He has been in contact with the VA in regards to Daniel debt owed to the school. The VA informed us that the payment went directly to the student since he had a change in his program and went to a different school.  LTI has...

a contract with Daniel and not the VA.  It is the student responsibility to make sure any checks from the VA get applied to his account.
We have audited his account again to verified that the balance is accurate in the amount of $ 2611.65.  Daniel can contact me at ###-###-####, ext. [redacted] to set up a payment arrangement.

We have provided [redacted] all of the documentation that he has requested.  I have attached a copy of his agreements, plus the breakdown of his bill.  When [redacted] left the school he had a balance of $ 5651.00 as shown in the documents.  He has accrued $ 939.86 in interest over the last 4 years for a total due of $ 6590.86.
Hopefully this documentation will resolve [redacted]'s complaint and allow us to work on a resolution for this debt. LTI is still willing to work with [redacted] to resolve this debt. He can reach me at ###-###-####, Ext [redacted] if he wants to come to a resolution.  LTI has always follow the FCRA.

I have spoke with [redacted] and advised her that we are researching her account and her dipsute has been transferred to our corporate complinace department.  Once we have completed our due diligence we would responde to her dispute.  As you are aware, we do have 30 business days...

to respond to a written dispute. [redacted] expects us agree with her dispute and resolve the issue immediately.  If her dispute is validated by our corporate compliance office, we will resolve the matter immediatel.

[redacted] attended our Queens campus from Jan 4, 2011 until May 26, 2011.  When he left the school an audit was perform to determine the charges LTI was allowed to charge according to his enrollment agreement.  After returning $ 5004 back to the government in loan and grant money, [redacted]...

[redacted] had a remaining balance of $ 5651.00.  Documentation were sent to [redacted] in June 2011 explaining the balance.
LTI receivables sent notice of the debt that was due in full and also offer a payment plan of $ 200 per month at 6% interest if he could not pay the balance in full.  We spoke with [redacted]s in August 2011. We mail the ledger card of his account per his request on August 13, 2011.  All of our notifications stated that non payment may affect his credit.  [redacted]s did not respond to our attempts to collect the debt until Jan 14, 2015.  he wanted the account remove from his credit as a special exception because he was unemployed.  We have spoke with [redacted] several times over the last two month and the only resolution he wants is for us to waive the balance and remove it from his credit.
He disputed the account on his credit report stating it was  fraud account on credit.  We validated the debt and resent documentation to his home address.  I spoke with [redacted] again on February 3rd to explain the debt but he refuses to accept the debt.  All documents were mailed again on 2/3.  He has attempted to file dispute with the credit reports on 2/3 & 2/10.  We have validated the debt and expect to be paid.
So we can not offer [redacted] the resolution he request, but we are willing to work with him on a payment plan or possible settlement if he would like to resolve this account.

There is no reason why I am paying more than what the VA edu was paying they only paid 1759.00 I wanted to know why am I paying more than the VA. There is big difference in payment. There is know itemize listing to let me know.

My son stopped going to Lincoln Tech in March. One month later I get a bill from LTI, inc for $1998.39 04/28/2016 I get a call from Miss W[redacted] from LTI Receivables. She told me that money was due to LTI, I asked her " is this the bill I just received for $1998.39". "No she said rudely it more like 19 thousand". I told her I would have to go thru my records and check and very rudely she replied "do what ever you want just pay by May 1st." and hung up on me. I did check records and did not find any bill for $19,000. May 5th 2016 Miss W[redacted] calls again very rudely " Do you remember we spoke before" Yes I told her " I remember you and I remember how rude you were telling me I owe 19 thousand when the bill is $1998." "How are you going to pay will go thru our portal". "Portal? I asked is there a website I can pay on?" I asked. Miss W[redacted] replied "you know what? just mail it it since it seems to me you don't know how to use a portal". After a few more words and her telling me she never gave me wrong amounts she once again rudely hung up on me. The calls are recorded I hope her superior listens to these conversations. I also asked her if my son got loans which were paying Lincoln Tech every month for the time he was there so how could he owe LTI and Miss W[redacted] could not answer this qu[redacted]ion. Miss W[redacted] was never helpful, gave me wrong information about what I owe. Miss W[redacted] never offered any kind of customer service advice. Miss W[redacted] hung up on me twice. Very unprofessional.

Unfortunately, [redacted] is not our customer and I do not know her son name to look up the account. So I can not respond specifically to her complaints about the loan.  Any dispute would need to be submitted by her son or he can call me at ###-###-####. In general, Lincoln does not have a...

loan forgiveness program but we have reduce our interest rate from 6 % to 0% on active loans.Any further questions would have to be directed to Lincoln by the student.Mr. D[redacted]LTI Receivables Manager###-###-####, ext [redacted]

As **. [redacted] stated he attended the school for 14 days, and his contract allows him to withdraw without penalty within 3 days of the course start date.  He started on 10/6/2008 and his last date of attendance was...

10/20/2008.  His total charge when he left school was $ 2950 which covers his registration, material, tools and tuition charges.  His balance was sent to our internal receivables division where he was offer a payment plan of $ 200 per month at 6% interest instead of paying the balance in full.  This plan was to start in Dec 2008.  We spoke with the student in Jan 2009.  We did not have success in collection of the debt.  The student did make a payment on 9/18/09 and was suppose to call back to set up a payment plan at $ 100 per month.  He canceled that arrangement in October 2009.  His account was assigned to an outside collection agency and he made one payment of $ 100 in February 2010.  He has not made a payment since then.
Since 2010, we have received and responded to several of **. [redacted]’s disputes and attempts to have it remove from his credit. The last communication was in March 19 2014 where we responded be resending validation of the debt.  The balance has increase due the increase that has accrued over the years total $844.52 as of today. We are willing to work with **. [redacted] on a payment arrangement or settlement on the balance.  This is a valid debt and LTI will continue to repot to the credit bureaus.
If **. [redacted] would like to resolve the account, he can reach me at ###-###-####, ext [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I am appalled and surprised this manager insist on providing clearly misleading and damaging misinformation.  Contrary to his response stating "it has nothing to do with [redacted] in the Philadelphia area", showing blatant disregard for this serious matter.  Attached you will see it has EVERYTHING to do with [redacted] in the Philadelphia area as my most recent credit report CLEARLY shows.  Furthermore, If this account was sold to a 3rd party collection agency, I have REPEATEDLY asked for this agencies contact information and this Institute/manager refuses to provide.  I request a letter stating this account be deleted from any association with me if it cannot be validated or even addressed.   Complaint: [redacted]

LTI is VERY unprofessional! They harass my husband and mother in law night and day threatening to garnish his checks if he can’t make the payment they set forth. He agreed to pay them weekly and we lost our credit card because of a fraud situation and he agreed to start paying the $50 a week once we got it back. They told him he needed to ask his mother for the money he owed and said it wasn’t their problem and continued to harass him. I’m reporting them to CFPB

Horrible experience with this company. Customer service is horrible. I was verbally abused, threatened and hung up on numerous times by Miss West who supposedly trying to collect a debt that I did not know about and was NEVER delinquent on.
