We see that the customer's partial refund was successful and their account canceled. We feel for the customer’s concerns and have processed a full refund of the customer's four products as requested. In addition, this customer has been taken off our recurring billing list. Please allow 5-7 business days for this refund to be processed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I contacted Lumanere again and was given a refund in the amount of $31.07 on the eye cream (Soleil) and $31.45 on the face cream (Lumanere).  I was still disappointed with this company and would like to proceed with in hopes that others are aware of the T&C.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

This company has unethical practices. I also was automatically enrolled in the auto ship program without my knowledge. When I saw the package was from Lumanere, I refused the package on 05/03/17 and it was received by sender at 11:20 am on May 6, 2017. I called Lumanere on 5/3/17 and talked to Katelyn, cancelled the auto ship and she said they could not refund my money even if they get the produce back. I also called again, not sure of the date and talked to [redacted], I told her that they had received my products back on 5/6/17. She also said they would not refund my money. A supervisor called when I was away and left a message. I returned the call and she never called me back. I do not know what else to do. I really thought this would be a good company because one of the [redacted] from the [redacted] was backing this company. Obviously not.

Our records indicate that our trial product was purchased on [initial trial date]. We understand their concerns, however,  the customer has initiated a chargeback for the disputed order. The chargeback processor and credit card companies are holding the funds, will determine the legitimacy of the claim and, provide any refunds if necessary. As a result, we are unable to provide a refund as requested. The credit card company will refund or retain the funds as they decide the case.
