Luna Skincare Reviews (%countItem)

I ordered a Trial sample, the product did not work as described and after calling to tell them that they billed me $189.
THey have refused to take these charges off saying that I did not call within 14 days, I DID. They offered to charge me 75% if I kept the product. I did not want the product. I can return it but they said no. How can a trial offer cost this much when the product is only$35 at full retail. This is clearly a scam. Oh, ant the charges on my visa are from 3 different addresses.KYSMYFACECREAM,ABOSKINREJUVANATE,MYULTRASKINCARE, KYSMYFACEREAM

Desired Outcome

i WANT THE CHARGES REMOVED AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM STOP SCAMMING OTHERS

Purchased a trial product and was subsequently billed a far greater recurring monthly charge on my credit card.
I purchased 2 trial products offered by this business on their website. Shipping and handling were the only charges to be charged. (This was shown on the email I received from them with the total amount of $10.90). I later realized that I had not only been charged the $10.90 but also 2 separate charges for $87.35. One of the charges were credited back by my credit card company, however the other was not.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the $87.35 that is not due them

A trial offer for moisturizer & serum for about $8. Then a credit card charge for almost $200!! When called, rep was extremely rude!
There was a pop up that showed a trial offer for a moisturizer for about $4 & then a serum for another $4. Not bad right? Several weeks later I see a charge on my card for almost $200!! When I called, the Customer Service Rep told me that I should read the fine print before I buy ANYTHING! When I told her I didn't see THAT in the fine print, she told me that she wears thick glasses & she saw it. So rude- it was like rubbing salt in the wound! Please tell consumers to stay away from these products!!

Desired Outcome

This is outright fraud. I would like a refund on the subsequent charges- I'll pay for the trial since that is what I agreed to!

Billing Scam! No customer service whatsoever.
Made one-time purchase but received additional delivery. Invoice inside box shows no price for items shipped. Called # on invoice listed for cancellations and returns. Thought delivery was an error only to find a very sarcastic customer service rep who would not let me speak said by not canceling 14 day after first delivery, I agreed to monthly subscription of $200! When I attempted to contest, she spoke over me the entire time stating nothing I could do because they already have my money! Every time I attempted to speak, she spoke over and then hung up. Sarcastic person called me back and continued to talk over me and hung up again. Second time left message saying wanted to offer partial refund. No supervisors or managers to speak with. I sent complaint via email to address on invoice. No response yet. Will contact my credit card. Only refund I will accept is 100%. Also, I offered to return items not even taken out of box. They told me that I couldn't return items. I never agreed to this subsequent billing/subscription. Please help!

Desired Outcome

100% refund and cancellation of subscription.

False advertisement and charging credit card for product not shipped
Order trial advertised Luna skincare cream and serum for total of $10.90 on10/08/17. Received around 10/15/17. Received Nov 2017 credit card statement and noticed 2 additional charges from Luna skin care on 10/15/17 for $89.95 and 10/27/17 for $87.25. Call luna skincare at 877-671-0074 and got a rude rep stating I gave them authorization to charge my card. I stated I didn't authorize my card to be saved on website and I only received the trial products for $10.90. Rep said yes you received product and we are not going to give you a credit. I sent 2 emails requesting a credit. Made another call another rep said you dispute the addtl charge of $89.95 on 11/25/17 and you lost, we will not give you a credit for that charge either. My card have charged three times for a total of $267.25 for products I didn't receive or authorize.
Why should a company (1) save your credit card, (2) charge credit card 10 days from trial order, (3) never sent the product.

Desired Outcome

Credit my card in full for products not received $267.25

I received a pop-up notification in my email that I had won a free offer of a skin care product, Luna Bella Serum. It says you only pay for the shipping and handling. I thought, why not? It's only $3.99 for the shipping, so I ordered it with my credit card.

When that transaction was done, another immediate pop-up came that said "for just $4.99 shipping and handling we will also send you the cream/moisturizer, as well. So, I thought "$8.00, ok".

When I rec'd my next credit card statement there were two charges one for $89.95 from ***,UT and another from YOURSKINCREAMS *** DE for $87.35. I had not authorized this so I contacted Discover to dispute this. Luna Skin Care only cancelled both orders, so I presume that meant any future business, but I never rec'd a refund.

They seem to go by two different names and addresses. The website does not give the actual address.

Desired Outcome

Refund I just want my money back. This was supposed to be for free samples.

The company would not refund my money.
I bought 2 face products for the adv price online but later realized that my acct had been debited for nearly $180. I called to ask for a refund and spoke with Ashley and Melissa, a supv. I was only given 50% but told her that I wanted ALL of my money back. She wouldn't budge. She would not allow me to speak with her supv. I accepted the partial refund but let her know that I wasn't satisfied. I filed a complaint with my bank and noticed today that the the entire amt had been debited from my acct. I called Luna customer svc and was told by Ed that I had forfeited the right to any portion of my money when I filed the grievance. I was misled by their deceptive adv practices and will NEVER order from them again.

Desired Outcome

$178.30, a refund of the amt that was debited from my acct.

4.95 for a trial and then billed 89.95 monthly. Tough to contact. Billed as Marvelous, which confused me. I sent back all packages, but got billed
Sep. 2017 - Nov. 2017

Desired Outcome

They should not be allowed to use such deceptive business practices!

Luna Skincare will capture you without your knowing. You must read the very fine print to learn you are entering into a contract and they will take $90 per month per product UNLESS you call to say STOP within 14 days. Nothing they send you via mail or email verifies or confirms anything when you buy the sample. Suddenly you only notice charges to your credit card that you did not authorize. When I contacted and complained I did not knowingly authorize money they only said "We have a contract." I agreed to $10 for a sample, over the next month they charged an additional $360. Would not let me send unopened products back that I did not want and argued with me like incessant sociopaths about contracts. They practice very very shady business practices and took $360 from me that I did not knowingly authorize. I am saddened that I enabled such deplorable business practices. I will be much much more careful.

Ordered free SAMPLES which was billed for $177.30 on credit card without my knowledge. Agreeded to the terms but they weren't apparent.
I ordered two free samples with shipping at $10.00. I did not notice the terms which said I would be charged for the bottles if I did not cancel the ordere within 14 days inclucding shipping time! I was billed $177.30 which is lost dispute with my bank because I agreeded to the terms. I spent alot of time trying to get a phone number or location or even the name of the company. Very confusing and false advertising. They told me that was the price of the bottles and the amount I paid was for shipping. They had a line through the amount specifing it was reduced to $4.99! My bank said I lost the dispute so the one item which they were going to refund my money for they recharged me because I disputed it.
These people need to be clear in their advertising. If I hadn't cancelled further orders I would still be getting a bill monthly for God knows how long. .I'm on a fixed income and would never have ordered these items had I known the scam. Most likely totally legal but unethical.

Desired Outcome

I would love a complete refund. but if that can't be done then a reporting agency could note this company as a scam.

Charges taken out of bank account
I couldn't sleep one night so I was browsing online. I see this skin care serum that Sallie Field uses supposedly and I think hmmm well its only a 4.95 trial. Lets try it. I placed an order on Nov 17, 2017. The next day I have 2 charges to my account totaling 10.90. Well its only 10.90 maybe its an extra shipping charge I just didnt see. So I brush it off. Today is Dec 4th. I received this package in the mail 9 days ago and it contained 2 products. So I am thinking ok I must have gotten one for free. Nice. I have been using this product since the day after thanksgiving and see no noticeable changes but the website states that you should use it for 3-6 mths. So Im thinking I have 30 days to cancel I will give it another week.

I just got woke up by my phone going off at 3:22 am telling me my account is in the negative. I log in to see why and I have just had $89.95 come out of my bank account. I called the company who requested my zip code and name and she could not find my order. Thankfully, I still have my packing slip because I just received my package. On the packing slip my zip code is incorrect and my phone number is incorrect as well. She said well ma'am we got the information from what you ordered online. Its directly from what you type in. REALLY!!!! Why would I give a false zipcode and a false phone number? My computer as well as my phone do an automatic fill in when I type my first name. I assured her that it was autofill and that she was mistaken. Thank goodness I still had my package since I have not had it that long or she would never have been able to find my account to cancel my order and the charges would have continued happening without the ability to cancel!
She goes on to tell me that if I had not received my package after 4 days I was supposed to call them and get an extension. You have 4 days shipping and 10 days of trial period. I asked her if she had my tracking information to prove what day the package had arrived. She said yes I do, but would not tell me what day that was. This charge was only 1 of 2! The second charge was pending, I didnt order 2 products!!!!! I offered to send everything back and she stated they do not do refunds and that the information states I would be billed after 14 days. I havent even had the product for 14 days! I informed her that the second order had better get cancelled. She said she could give me 50% off for the other one. I said NO it better be cancelled, she said well I can give you 75% off but that is all I can do. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the only one there. I said listen! My account is negative 49.00 and I do not get paid for another week and a half. My bank is going to charge me overdrawn fees and they will recharge after 3 days until I have money in my account. I cannot even go to the grocery store now. She said this one time she could cancel the pending charges but they could not accept any product back. I then received 2 emails stating that the account was closed. Please beware of this company!!!! They will falsify your information in order for you to have to pay their charges!!! Just go to your local stores to find a product this company is a rip of!

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of the $89.95. These product charges could have been a huge disaster considering they falsified my information!

An advertisement pop up while in the internet offering a free trial on Luna Skin Care, paying only shipping and handling. I paid it. Never received the trail. Two weeks later I received two Luna skin care products and my credit card was charged 89.95. I contacted Luna skin Care and their response was that I agreed to the terms and conditions on the free trial (which I did not receive). The terms and conditions reads: "By placing an order through this website... which I NEVER order anything. I just requested the FREE trial offer and paid shipping and handling. I NEVER received the free trial either but charged 89.95, plus the shipping and handling of the free trial that I did not received. After I contacted their customer service their answer was that I had to cancelled and send back the product in 6 days or be charged! I considered that a scam. I contacted my bank and disputed the issue. I have not heard anything. It's been over 2 months. The 89.95 plus shipping and handling have not been received. They keep hanging up every time I call!

Desired Outcome

Refund I want a refund of 89.96 and shipping and handling for a free trial not received (10.95).

Company billing for cancelled products
I cancelled all products from this company and yet they keep billing me monthly and not sending any product

Desired Outcome

reverse all charges from April 2017 forward

Luna Skincare Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company offers free trials of their products and if not contacted within 14 days, the full price of the product is charged to the purchasers credit card. I did make contact with the company again on 06-22-17 and spoke with Brittany regarding the face cream, she offered a 40% refund and the product was cancelled. I then called and spoke with Carmella who was very rude, however she did offer a 35% discount on the eye cream and this product was cancelled. Although I believe this has resolved my issue, I believe that others should know of this companies practice. I have purchased other trials and did not have to pay for the trial product other than shipping. I think that this company should be more forthcoming in their advertising and let the consumer know that the trial is not free.

I purchased a trial product for $5.95 + $4.95 for shipping on Nov 7, 2017. On Nov 23, 2017 my VISA card was charged $89.95.
The practice of Luna Skin Care appears to be to offer a low priced ($10.90) trial version of their product (Nov 7, 2017) and then weeks later (Nov 23, 2017) to charge a much higher price ($89.95) for that product without notifying the customer.

Desired Outcome

I would like a credit made to my VISA card in the amount of $89.95.

Luna Skincare Response

I received a full refund a few days ago.

I've been trying to get ahold of this company for a week now I have called several times I've sent emails that were returned as undeliverable I've left messages on there phone with no returned calls . This is not a business anyone should be involved with .
On Nov. 19th I ordered 2 free samples of skin care I have 14 days to cancel or they will automatically take money out of my account for full size products every month . I am not happy with this product and I need to cancel .
My order # 's XXXXX
#XXXXX
Product_Or_Service: Luna advanced eye serum and moisturizer

Desired Outcome

Modification/discontinuance of I would like a confirmation that my order has been cancelled and there will be no funds taken from my acct except for the $5.95 and the $4.95 that has already been taken out to cover s/h. Confirmation can be sent to ***@***.com

Customer Response

The company has contacted me and my order was canceled
Thank you

Sometime in Sept. I ordered a low-priced sample of skin cream from Luna. At the same time I ordered another skin cream from Luna at a low-introductory price. Unbeknownst to me, in placing that order I also signed up for a membership in the Luna Skin Care organization. I discovered this "membership" when I received unordered products from Luna in the mail. My credit card was billed $89.95 for one product and $87.35 for another. When I called the phone numbers (there were 2), I was told that the ad on the internet clearly said I was joining their club, and they would not refund my money. I told them I would refuse the order, and the reply was "You cannot return an order because it is shipped from a warehouse and they do not accept returns." However, on the original invoices is the statement "For all returns and cancellations please call our 24 hour customer service number at (no number given) or Email: (no address given)." After much rude discussion I was told they would cancel my "membership" and refund some of the money. Here's the clincher - when I said I was going to alert the Revdex.com I was told if I did they would not refund any money. I lied and said I would't call you. I waited for my credit card statement to arrive before I let you know of Luna's deceptive practices. I was refunded $124.10, which is $53.20 less than I was charged. I don't anticipate any further action from Luna, but I wanted you to be aware of their fraudulent activities in the hopes of curtailing any further activity on their part.

Desired Outcome

No settlement requested - for I do not desire any further action, but I hope that the Revdex.com will alert others of Luna's deception.

Was told I won 2 skin products from YOURBEAUTYSERUMS for shipping only. Was charged 87 and 89 dollars for each. Company will not refund the charges.
I received an email saying I won Luna Revitalizing Moisturizer for only the shipping fee of $4.95. As soon as I said OK to this, another product, Luna Rejuvenating Serum was offered free for a shipping fee of $5.95. There were NO Terms and Conditions listed anywhere. I said OK to all of the shipping and handling. I received the products, but there was NO paperwork, statement or invoice in the box. Not even instructions on how to use the product. I received my Discover Card bill on 8/28/17 with MSC YOURBEAUTYSERUMS 877-670-8512 CA for $4.95, JBSKNCP MYSKINPRODUCT 877-578-0683 KY for $5.95. Then a charge of $89.95 at the YOURBEAUTYSERUMS # and address as above and another charge for $87.35 at the MYSKINPRODUCT # and address. I immediately called the California # and was told I was being charged because I didn't return the products in 14 days (Who knew?) but the rep made it sound like she would take the charges off my bill and notify me by email. What she did was stop further shipments, not remove the charges. I then contacted Discover who asked me to wait to see if the company might go ahead and remove the charges in the next few weeks. They did not, and Discover asked me if I wanted them to dispute the charges and I said yes. Discover then sent me numerous pages saying that the charge was valid based on the companies documentation. The documentation that I never received from said merchant. Disc.also sent a page to fill out if I wanted them to continue this investigation. Before I called Discover again, I called the California and the Kentucky numbers, both service people becoming aggravated and rude. They said there were no supervisors to talk to and there was nothing they could do. They did not offer me any kind of discount because they said I did not call them first, which I did, and that once I turned it over to my bank it would not matter how many times I submitted to Discover or The Revdex.com I would never get a refund.
Now for the confusing part - in the documentation the company sent to Discover, they claim I placed my order on Sept 12. However shipping details states
that the item was delivered on my porch on Aug, 31. How can that happen. The transaction date on the Disc. Bill is Aug 26.
In some documentation the return policy is 10 days, some say 13 or 14, one claims 17 and yet another says 30 days but will not take back any product even if just the box was opened.
This is no business. Everything about them is shoddy and unprofessional.

Desired Outcome

I would like to see The Revdex.com take this and business Scams like this to task. If something is my fault I will take full responsibility for my error, but when information is lacking a person shouldn't be penalized. There are certainly enough valid complaints about this company for the government or some institution to help consumers from this type of scam. I would like to see my money for these products refunded. I have told the company I will gladly pay for shipping and handling.

I was charged $177.30 for products I had already paid $10.90 for products (2 products).
My credit card was charged $87.35 to Gloria Marking Service. My credit card was also changed $89.95 to ABOSKINREJUVANATE.
I called the company I was told I was charged that amount because I did not cancel before 14 days of the trial period.
Therefore I was liberal for the full amount for the products. I was told if I had cancel before the 14 days trail period the
$10.90 is all I would have been charged.

Desired Outcome

A refund of my money. Refunds to everyone this company scammed. Let the public know this company is a scam.

Advertised moisturizer and skin serum samples for shipping only ($4.95 and $5.95). Charged credit card additional $178 after 14 days without notice.
11/5/17 ordered free samples of Luna Skincare Moisturizer and Skin Serum. 11/6/17 debit card charged $4.95 and $5.95 for shipping. Received box from Luna Skincare around 11/10/17 but did not open until *** notified me of $89.95 charge on 11/21. Opened box that evening and called customer service at 877-671-0074 as shown on their packing slip. Their CSR, "Claudia", said they could not reverse the charge because I agreed to a monthly subscription of their creams at time of order. Absolutely not true! No where in the ad did it say this would start a subscription, or that I would be charged $89.95 and $87.35 for the items received if not returned in 14 days. Nothing in the ad states that, nor is there anything on their packing slip to indicate a cost of any kind. I then asked Claudia if I could return the two items without trying them and receive a refund for the full price they charged me, and she said no, the items would have had to be returned within their 14-day trial period in order to get a refund. She said it wasn't their fault that I let the 14-day trial period pass without opening the box and since they'd already charged me, I might as well go ahead and use them! I again reminded her that I had no knowledge of a 14-day trial period and she restated it was clearly printed in my cell phone ad ... NOT TRUE. The items did not come with an invoice showing prices or information about a 14-day trial period, only a packing slip indicating two items were shipped. Called back on 11/26/17 to confirm subscriptions for BOTH items had been cancelled and was assured by "Nathan" that both had been cancelled. I then asked to speak to a supervisor to discuss this issue further, and he responded there was no one there for me to speak to and nothing further could or would be done.
Order #XXXXXXXX, order date 11/5/2017, customer *** reference *** (same as cancellation number received 11/24/17), items received one LUNA Revitalizing Moisturizer and one LUNA Rejuvenating Facial Serum. Shipped and billed to ***, *** Desoto, TX, 75115. Amounts charged to *** debit card on 11/6/17 were $4.95 and $5.95 (for shipping of samples which I agreed to). Amounts charged to *** debit card on 11/21/17 were $87.35 and $89.95 (for purchase of items already received as part of a monthly subscription, which I DID NOT agree to).

Desired Outcome

I want my *** debit card credited for the $87.35 and $89.95 they charged me for their two skin care products. Which can still be returned if they want them back. I have no desire to even try them at this point.

False advertising and failure to cancel product when requested
I ordered a free sample of face cream and moisturizer and was only to be billed 10.95 for shipping and handling. I was subsequently billed $89.95 and $87.35 for my monthly "recurring order". When I called the company I spoke with Eric. He told me that there were terms and conditions at the bottom of the web page that stated I had 14 days to cancel or I would be enrolled in a monthly recurring order. I asked for both orders to be cancelled and he stated that he had done so and sent me two confirmation emails. The next day I received another email from the company stating that my "new order" was on the way and already shipped out of Florida. I called a 2nd time and was told that everything had been cancelled and that I shouldn't worry. But she then stated that should I be charged or receive products that I should call again. This left me wondering why I would have to make a 3rd call. So I called a 3rd time and a different woman told me that the products that are on the way are 'complimentary' and that I will see no charges on my credit card. I don't believe that my order has been cancelled and I just want to make sure that this company never contacts me again or charges my credit card again.

Desired Outcome

I do not want them sending any more products or charging my credit card again. I've called to cancel THREE times.
